It seemed like while she could see Arian very well, the sun casting her shadow seemed to blind him, so he couldn't identify her, which somewhat amused her. From her elevation, it was easy to see why Arian was covered in granite dust and other debris. Countless holes in the walls, all in a straight, singular line has shown where Arian had come from; fourth Division's quarter's. In other words, Elisia's barracks, but speaking of Elisia....

Turning to the origin of the pusher, she was greeted by the voice of said girl, who seemed to want to stick with Nu for now. With a tired smile in return, she responds by nodding and cracking her knuckles, then proceeding to her shoulders, and working her way down. As useful and skilled she was, Nu didn't want to say that in this battle, she would only be a hindrance, depending on how long the fight lasts. With that little exercise out of the way, her eyes turn back to her blinded opponent, ready now to answer her question as her reiatsu flares, her usual bright flame-like colors turning shades darker and darker, until it became black with a red outline, the energy focusing on a fixed point, more specifically, her hand as she proceeds to "rip" across her face, a mask finally appearing across the length of her face. A nearby banner catching on fire reminded Nu of the dangers of being close to her until she had better control over the state, which prompted her to worry over the safety of her friend. She wasn't as finely tuned as her fellow vizard when it comes to this matter, so controlling her reiatsu wasn't as easy as it could have been. In response to this, her head quickly turned back to Elisia, her voice dual layered and somewhat distorted; the reult was being a mechanical echo more then anything. "Elisia! Get out of here! This isn't the best place right now!"

From what she could tell so far, she was the first to unveil the new Vizard class of Captains to the Sephira. Other then the other Vizard, she hasn't shown her mask to the regular captains, and until now, there was no reason too. Her head veered back to Arian, in hopes that the shock of her being a vizard will buy her some time to convince her to leave. Ignoring her friend now, in hopes that she would go somewhere safer, she jumps off the roof of the building, crashing down with a small crater, finally on eye level with the Sephira. "Hope you're not too surprised, I'm not done yet...." With no physical sign or inclination, she enters her usual shunpo state, only to have it gain her new red outline, which made her all the more intimidating. "Magatsu Shunko"

Meaning "corrupted", she found it fitting, considering the circumstances on its origins. It allowed for tremendous power, but as Nu was just starting to perfect it, she needed absolute focus to maintain the state, other it rebounding and exploding in her face. "To answer you're question, I'm the woman who you took an arm from. The woman who must've looked so weak by our last fight. The woman who's going to kill you...." The last syllable was spoken from behind him, a condensed cero in the shape of a ball was covering her fist; specifically her metal prosthetic. Augmented by her shunko, the plan was aiming to permanently shatter his spinal cord and finish him off swift and painless. It would be so much easier if she could take him down before he transformed, but she doubted he would simply take her hit and die. She could tell that he didn't spend his days idling by, both had improved, and it was time to see who proved greater. It sometimes surprised her on how much power she had at her fingertips, but it came with the price of constant worry about control over her self, and not reverting to some dumb beast.

Jacques stared up at the sky as he layed upon the large stump. He felt the Gran Rey Cero, and knew it had to be shot only for the return of some shinigami. His Pesquia wasn't what one could call 'up-to-shape', but he still couldn't trace a shinigami. He sighs and clenches a fist, knowing that the enemy has blocked their spiritual pressure behind some cloak. He would begin to sit up as he felt a new pressure fall upon him; Yuki's reiatsu hit him like a box of bricks. Jacques was unprepared for something like this - more-so as he was so far from where combat was taking place - and let his own leak to try to lessen the affects some. As he now released his own, Jacques knew his whereabouts were given to the enemy.

Jacques stood and put his book in to his sash. He grabs the handle of his blade and sonidos off towards where he found the group. For some reason, fear was prominent in his mind, yet he heeded no warning of what was ahead. He stopped a hundred or so meters behind the fray. He raises his blade, twisting the tip down, and stabs it in to the earth. He rest his arm upon the blade, propping his head up with the hand. He observes what happens in the distance, noting it in his mind to write it down. He takes the little red paperback book, and writes something down about Zenos, then writes some about Yuki. "Neida.. I have t- No, I can't.. If I come, you'll only be weakened because of my intrusion. It'll throw you off.." He sighs and stares at the sky again, "Live well, die free, comrades.."

Hibiki Kirisho
- Squad Nine Captain -

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. The gods trembled
The demons flocked

As he made his way through Seiretei, Hibiki was able to catch the figure of his Squad barracks out of the corner of his eye, making him slow down a bit to give it a quick scan from a distance. While he looked on, he felt his heart sink as he saw the state by which his the structure was in, the training grounds remained unkempt, debris littered the entire area, and the roof had collapsed, most likely crushing everything underneath it ”Not exactly a sight for sore eyes.” he muttered, taking solace in the fact that at least the number of casualties among his Squad were kept to a minimal. With his fears affirmed, Hibiki began to set out once more disappearing from the reishi platform he was standing on, speeding off towards his previous destination.

In mid-flight, Hibiki caught sight of Zenos has appeared in front of him a considerable distance away. However, from the information they had given him-- of which he was grateful for-- he figured that the distance between them could easily be closed by the high-ranking Sephira. Attempting to stop his movement forward, Hibiki’s eyes widened in surprise as Zenos caused several massive earthen slabs to erupt from the ground. Because of their distance away from each other, Hibiki wasn’t able to see exactly how Zenos was able to summon them and thus attributed it to being one of his abilities. Staring the Sephira down, Hibiki was caught off guard as the rock slabs began flying towards him, despite Zenos still remaining in one position. Guessing that the Sephira simply left behind an after-image as he launched his attack against him, Hibiki prepared to launch his own counter-attack.

A total of 23 slabs were sent towards him, timing it just right, Hibiki began to mutter a kido incantation as he weaved through the first couple of slabs, dodging a few of them using Shunpo. By the time that approximately half of them had been evaded, Hibiki lifted his hands and stretched them towards the remaining projectiles ”Bakudo #Tsuriboshi.” he spoke out, materializing a star-shaped cushion a good distance in front of him to catch the remaining dozen or so slabs. Far from being done with his attack, Hibiki waved his hands in the air behind the Tsuriboshi as it began to receive the incoming attacks ”Carriage of Thunder, Bridge of a spinning wheel…” he muttered as the sac began to expand. When it had successfully caught all of them, Hibiki released his Bakudo spell from behind the net, blocking him from sight and giving him the element of surprise ”Bakudo #61, Rikujokoro.” he spoke out once more, striking Zenos from afar with six beams of light, embedding themselves into his midsection should the binding connect.

Get it out of my face

Ori has his eyes lazily set upon Hei and Zenos as he awaited Hei's counter to the Gran Rey Cero. It had obviously posed no threat at all, as Hei simply palmed it and brushed it aside, and to much of Ori's lax surprise, to him. As it can surging towards his person, the grey dull light coming from the beam reflecting off of his skin, Ori felt Yuki's pressure fall over the Seireitei. An entrance it was, however his own pressure kept him from kneeling to it, and he could move quite freely within it. His eyes softly moved to her direction until she made her self visible over to his upper right hand corner. Ori slip his gaze to the roaring torrent of energy that was surging forth toward him and, carefully, released his blade. Ori suppressed three things: he stopped the outward appearance of an angel from ever taking place, though he allowed the grayish tint to his skin, he also ceased the dissolving of his weapon on his arm, and muffled the amount of Reiatsu he was releasing from it to next to nothing. This allowed him to counter without much actual realization on the part of his enemies, however, Yuki, he supposed, had a sense of a sort to know these things. He would find out in time, but for now, it all would simply have to play out.

Lifting his right hand up towards the Gran Rey, Ori let out a mulled out set of words, Fortificaţie. When his hand touched the surface of the Gran Rey its tail would thrash around as it was absorbed into his arm. The physical attributes of doing such a thing were sharp and squared 'cracks' that would line up his arm with a dull grey shine to them. As it neared about half of the Gran Rey, Ori began to close his index and his thumb towards each other, before, literally, pinching the Cero and pushing towards his feet. It was then absorbed by these points, but resulted in a soft grey 'mist' around them that seemed to almost pulse every so often. His then softly drifted towards Yuki, who simply was waiting. He could feel that much. A small curve appeared in his dull facade as his lip curled to a grin.

Just as soon as the grin was made, Ori was gone without any notice or flicker of any kind. He was then behind Yuki with his body curved and his right foot moving for her temporal area on her right side. Ori waited until his foot was but two inches from her head to unleash some of the stored energy in his foot out behind it, blasting it forwards to close the gap and enhance the damage by at least 4. As his foot was closing in on her, however, Ori has his right fist coming down for her head, which would, in turn with the kick, cause her to be struck by the foot and then his fist shortly after which would throw her towards the ground. No word was said by him, but it would lay apparent to all who would watch him that he was not going to let this area go by any chance. Upon executing his assault he would vanish and appear about 5 feet away from the spot to gain some distance.

Elisia had quirked her left eyebrow in surprise at the Arrancar’s stupidity. The light was quite blinding, but seriously, for someone who had caused their defeat and taken off Nu’s arm from last time, she would have expected a little bit more. He also seemed to be hitting his face, which was not the best thing for one to do after blinding oneself and she watched with a mixture of curiosity and disgust as he then proceeded to ask who Nu was, while apparently…facing the building, not her? Perhaps he was attempting to stop himself from being blinded once again. That was a smart move – the smartest one that she had seen him make even since she had laid her eyes on him this time around. Her analysis of this particular Arian was interrupted as she suddenly became aware of the fact that Nu has released her Reiatsu. Turning her head slowly, she automatically took a step back as the mask materialized on Nu’s face, her face no longer casual but tainted with a tinge of fear. It was now, seeing that mask in real life and on one of her friends, that she grasped the full reasons behind Lee and Hibiki’s opposition to the Hollowfication process. She had seen it on Hei before but it seemed so different on somebody that she knew personally and knew to be a softie at heart. However, she had always known in the back of her mind that Nu’s fighting and personal self was kept separate and she could hardly interfere and force both of them to come together. As fire suddenly burst into being on the nearby banner, she found herself frozen on the spot, even more so when her friend turned to her – the mask in full view. Shuddering, she gave a quick nod to her friend, before forcing her voice to stay level and calm, “Alright, alright, Mitsuru. I’m going.”

She whirled on the spot, seemingly vanishing as she darted away from the battle. There weren’t many places that she needed to go to at the moment and her abilities would only really be needed much later on, when the battles had actually started. For now, she’d just have to mark the positions of each of her comrades, so that she would be able to get to them as quickly as possible in case of anything. Some of the Shinigami hadn’t arrived yet or were hiding their Reiatsu, from what she could tell, and she could feel the presence of another’s Reiatsu in front of her. Her mouth twisted into a grimace as she kicked off towards the right, appearing roughly twenty-five metres to the right of the enemy. This Arrancar was one that she had never seen before. She did not bother to mask the inquisitive stare that she had trained upon him, which appraised him – taking careful note of the blade as well as a red book that he seemed to be holding for some reason. Her hand slowly shifted towards her zanpakuto, but she slid it hurriedly away as she realized the mistake that she was making. She was not intending to fight and even if that was just a defensive manoeuvre, there was the chance that he could take it in the wrong way. Lifting her hands and placing them face-up with her palms showing, she was not very bothered by the fact that she was not as eager to leap into a fight as the others. They could berate her about it as much as they wanted to, but she was simply curious in this moment in time as to what he was doing.

While Nu prepped herself up, Arian whistled to himself as his body bobbled from forward and backward for a bit, still waiting for Nu to answer him, and still not taking the situation too seriously. As his opponent’s spiritual pressure began to rise, Arian showed no visible reaction to it, this was not because he could not feel it, but rather because he saw no reason to take any interest in it. He had practically bathed in her and Lee’s spiritual pressure during their last right, and though it was definitely stronger this time around, on its own it simply wasn’t enough to warrant his attention. That is of course, until Nu summoned her mask, changing her spiritual pressure’s signature entirely. When he felt this unexpected change in his opponent, Arian’s eyes widened in shock as his hand bolted itself towards his sword, grabbing the weapon’s hilt as it jutted out from behind his right shoulder.

However, before he could draw his massive blade out of its scabbard, Nu was already upon him, crashing into the ground in front of him. Now at eye level with her, Arian gazed into the Captain’s eyes from behind the mask. Though his eyes showed no fear inside them, he was still paralyzed in his place; he expected them to have grown stronger, but not this much. Snapping out of his trance as Nu addressed him, Arian realized that a sword strike using his massive blade had no chance of reaching her in time, and because he was in no hurry to release just yet, he simply waited for her to move, though he didn’t have much of a choice, considering his lack of melee prowess he didn’t have a chance at hitting her or dodging whatever she was about to throw at him.

As she answered her question, Arian’s eyes returned to their normal state. There was no reason to maintain his ignorant ruse for any longer, if he was up against a normal opponent then he could probably goof around for a bit before releasing, but with an opponent that he had already fought previously, one who had managed to survive his released state, then there was no doubt in Arian’s mind that he’d have to step up or step down. When she disappeared in front of him, Arian wasn’t surprised in the slightest and instead steeled himself for what was about to come. Feeling the tremendously powerful attack Nu unleashed behind him, Arian made every effort to resist the attack, driving his feet into the ground and pushing back, but to no avail as he was sent crashing into the building in front of him, the very one Nu was standing on top of a few moments ago.

Due to his massive size, his crash entry left the building structurally unstable, causing bits and pieces of it to slowly fall off ”Well that’s a bugger.” rang Arian’s voice from inside the crumbling structure ”I was hoping I could goof around for a bit. Waiting for the others to finish their fights and then just let them have the last kill-- or inversely, I could just surrender if we lost.” standing up, Arian inspected himself, pulling out his shattered sword from behind him. A few seconds later, he could hear the sound of steel clanking as it hit the floor, realizing that his armor had been literally shattered, and that if it weren’t for it he probably would be dead by now, Arian let out an audible sigh ”But I guess that isn’t going to happen, huh?” as he finished, the roof of the building suddenly gave way above him, but he made no move to shield himself. Though it was unlikely Nu could see him from inside, Arian lifted his sword in front of him as rocks began falling around him, dropping it to the ground, where it stabbed itself into the floor ”Cremate, Goelcerth.” he mumbled. In a split second a massive pillar of fire erupted from the ground, enshrouding the building and practically roasting it at temperatures that would be considered utterly volcanic. As the flames settled down, the entire structure blackened and radiating heat like embers of a recently put out pyre, and in the middle stood Arian clad in his hellish armor, staring Nu down with blazing crimson orbs as he began to let out his own spiritual pressure into the area.

Even with her eyes closed and Ori's efforts to make his release unknown, Yuki was still aware of the fact that he had in fact done so. Of course, this mattered little to her at this point since she was not the one attacking; if all she had to do was defend she had nothing to worry about. During her pregnancy and when Hei was out, Yuki was left to her thoughts, and in that time she decided, after careful deliberation, that Ori's Resurrección was not anything she needed to be very concerned about. She had witnessed enough of it to know this much. The flow of his blood made her privy to his movements and she moved away just as he was poised to strike, resulting in both of his blows going through an afterimage- not from Utsusemi but from speed alone- that quickly faded away. As Ori fell victim to the force of his swings and the lack of solid material to contact, resulting in untimely imbalance, Yuki let her gaze fall on where she had been while walking towards him casually from the place she had reappeared, which was no more than ten or so feet away in the opposite direction. "Are you through making a fool of yourself? I believe you said to me, You will see in due time when I am truly, serious. I have a daughter to return to, so I do not have all day; I am waiting, boy." As she turned back to face him and let her eyes fall upon his backside as she waited for him to get up and make another move, one that would at the very least be surprising.

"...allow me to show you a fate worse than death."

Upon hearing Zenos' answer, Hei simply turned his gaze back ahead of him and continued to walk off. His answer was quite fit for a person of his personality, and Hei had no reason to argue it, so he let it be. As soon as he rounded a corner in one of the alleyways, he used Shunpo to propel himself towards Yuki's dwellings, which he arrived at quickly and entered as soon as he broke the doorknob by grasping and turning it with inhuman strength. Pushing the door open, he entered and flicked the switch on the wall, flooding the hallway and living room with light. Once inside, he stopped and ran his finger along the edge of the bookshelf just inside the door, creating a trail of clean in the layer of dust that had formed over the last eighteen months. After rubbing his thumb and index finger together as if to test the consistency of it, he continued into the living room and wiped his fingers on his haori. Despite the fact that everything was coated in dust, he was relatively pleased that the structure was so intact; especially that no one had been in here. He could sense no ambient traces of Reiatsu other than his own, Yuki's, and Tsukiko's, so he knew this to be fact- that and nothing was disturbed. Past the living room, he approached the first pocket door, the one that led to the washer and dryer, and tugged it open. The sight of the common-folk appliances was enough to make him frown as he had always been disappointed that she did those things by herself. It was an ironic feeling, seeing as he had taken care of those things over the past year and a half, yet he couldn't help but let it consume him until he entered his sister's bedroom.

Even this room was covered in dust, something he turned his nose up at, almost as though he was annoyed at the dust for tainting his sister's bedroom. His eyes fell to her bed and memories crept up on him, memories that lingered as he tore his gaze away and looked towards her dresser. Out of habit, he extended a hand to her underwear drawer and pulled it open, letting his eyes fall on an assortment of undergarments that ranged from decent to nosebleed. Of course, seeing them in their natural state did nothing for him, but it sure didn't stop him from picturing things for a moment before he hastily slammed the drawer shut, an action that rattled the family pictures on the walls. After a quick glance around the room, Hei swiftly made his full and complete exit from the building as he had nothing else to look at. He quickly made his way towards the railing and in a flash appeared on top of it before he vanished again and moved about the Seireitei, locating the missing Sephira. Finally, he located one- Sakuya- and ended up outside the place she called her home. Feeling it out, he could tell that Zenos had been here, and decided this must be where his woman lived. Lifting his hand lazily, Hei extended his fingers, aiming them at the nearest wall to him. "Ye lord. Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man. On the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens. Hadō no Nanajūsan: Sōren Sōkatsui." While he spoke the chant in monotone, blue Reiryoku began to gather at his hand, then as he finished, it shot out in the form of two entities of blue flame that quickly approached the wall, then collided with it to blow the entire wall off, and hopefully take more of the building with it.

Get it out of my face

Ori, having fell over, felt like a fool. His first assault thrown to s**t and made him look like a crap leader. Ori scowled as he adjusted himself in the air, turning himself up right and looked eerily to Yuki. His face had now become subtle and calm, and his stare was anything but warm. "Using me against me? Charming. I can only say that becoming serious would come with you becoming serious." Ori knew her reasons, but he wanted her to take him seriously before he would do her the same. Deactivating his release, his arm let out the Reiryoku that it stored as a steam-like stream that would break apart about 2 feet from his arm. Moving his right arm outwards, Ori began to pace towards Yuki. It was not a quick pace, but was mildly hasty. Ori's arm glove would then become a silvery metallic color and, from the back of his hand, slick down his hand sliding into its Katana form with a pure black Tsuka and Tsuba and a pristine white blade. Now grasping it within his hand, Ori stopped on his left foot, about 5 feet from Yuki, and smirked. "But, I suppose you won't spare me the formality until I myself give you the seriousness you wish for, no?" Ori would then dash forward, vanishing from her vision range, though leaving behind an afterimage via Gemelos Sonido, and race behind her. He would have his image rush her before vanishing to appear to her right. His Katana was grasped so the blade, when rising towards her sternum, would run along her outer thigh, hoping to split her Iliotibial Tract/Band that would allow her to utilize her right leg in any manner of use. It would cease her ability to lift her right leg upwards in anyway that is viable to being productive and would cease her ability to lift her leg out to the side at all, for that tract is a huge tendon that connects at the knee and the hip.

Upon moving to run his blade up that tendon, Ori would slip the blade away from her, slide over to behind her, pivot a few 30 degrees, so as to be facing her directly, and pull back his blade before stabbing towards the inside of her right thigh to slit the Adductor Magnus. His plan was to move through this muscle, curve towards the front of the thigh, and slit through Sartorius muscle. This, in combination with his previous attack, could rend her leg obsolete for good until she was allowed to heal it. She seemed to be a healer to Ori, but that mattered not. It seemed he would simply have to keep the pressure on her and see what would happen. His final move to assault her would be to pull back the blade and dash backwards, releasing a Cero at her body. He was out to disable her from the battle entirely.

[I give permission to Anna for the remainder of the match to puppet my character when countering for the most part.]

Malchut Sephira - Being of Lowliness

It did not take too much effort, not to break free from the six beams of light that abruptly materialized all around him, then stabbed into his midsection to hold him in place. Little effort was required, though a certain amount of brute force was necessary, which he had reserves of. A few seconds passed after he was bound by the Kido when they broke into tiny pieces and scattered in the wind like dust. Once the resistance was gone, Zenos' arms were pushed away from his side, his muscles bulging beneath his sleeves. He halted them, flexing his fingers as if he felt it was necessary to test the movement of his body, and then turned his gaze towards Hibiki, or at the very least towards the Kido that he was hiding behind. Zenos viewed it as cowardly to hide, which was terribly ironic seeing as he was the epitome of stealth, falling short of being perfect in that regard as he was neither invisible, nor intangible. Still, he used these stealth abilities only to attack from behind as a means to take his opponent out swiftly and without wasted effort when he deemed it appropriate.

He certainly did not use them to hide behind in the middle of a fight like it appeared Hibiki was doing. Leaning forward slightly, Zenos cast a blank stare towards the Kido and promptly disappeared, appearing to the naked eye only when he reached the wall behind Hibiki. As he became visible, it was shown that he was standing parallel to the floor, anchoring his feet to the wall, which he quickly rocketed off of, blowing a hole in it as he shot towards Hibiki at high speeds. He faded into sight for an instant as he got within striking distance, showing up only like a blur before he vanished again, this time coming from between Hibiki and the Kido net, launching a kick to his face. He purposefully made unnecessary moves, and showed himself twice before attempting to hit Hibiki; he was still not quite in the mood to finish him, and after the sex he had this morning, he was still slightly in a somewhat dazed zone. He was far from impaired, but still not quite at the level-headed space that he wished he could have been.

...and thus the world is petrified.

Hakase Yuki
博士雪
Ichibantai Taichō

Outwardly, Yuki appeared abnormally calm for a woman in her position, or at the very least that would be how she appeared to those that did not know her, or those that suddenly looked her way and did not grasp the situation instantly. To others, it would be obvious that her ease was not unnatural, that this was Yuki in her natural state; her element was CQC combat and with tremendous offensive power and the frighteningly accurate ability to read an opponent's movements, it was near suicide to approach her in this way. She did not spare his afterimage a second thought, merely aiming a devastating flick to its forehead as it came within range. The attack was significant enough to stall the body she already knew was not real, and as the sickening sound of the glabella area of its skull's frontal bone cracking filled the air, she lowered her hand and let it disappear as Ori came up on her side.

Glancing to the side slightly, she saw the gleam of his sword and just as his blade was to make contact with the skin of her leg; it would be held back by a swarm of crimson Reiryoku, bits of it encircling the blade as though it were sinking into cotton. As the blade made its way up the length of her body, the Reiryoku acted like a pillow, holding the sword back until it left her body and Ori moved to attack once more. In an instant the Reiryoku spread across her body, lingering for a moment while Yuki shifted her weight onto her left foot. Yuki contorted her body, lifted her right foot, and brought it straight up in a fluid motion that would result in a kick to Ori's blade, knocking it aside and cause Yuki to assume a position where her right leg was straight into the air and most of her weight was focused near her upper body and left leg. Ori came around quickly for another attack, but Yuki was quick to act as she sensed the fluctuation in his Reiryoku, and in response fully activated her own version of Shunkō, which had been in a standby mode as it protected her body from Ori's blade. Her haori was quickly blown away as the pressurized, crimson Reiryoku gathered along her back and arms.

The energy itself, in comparison to Nu's own, seemed denser and more powerful, though this because she had a greater control, and her Shunkō was not a true Shunko, but instead a fake version that was created through her own power, and not through skill with Kidō. Of course, it was still the same thing in principle and differed only in color and density, so she had not bothered to rename it and instead treated it the same as any other; for the most part as it had a special property. Ori's Cero was met with an open palm as Yuki intercepted it while still upside down, and as she followed her momentum and flipped back over onto her feet, the Cero was drawn into her Shunkō, causing it to pulse and change the color of the Reiryoku surrounding her body from crimson to black, then back to crimson as she subdued the power. It felt strange, in a sense, to have the foreign Reiryoku wrapped around her body, almost how she felt when Hei had touched her differently- not as her brother, but as a man- for the first time. She was of course, quite used to that now, but she did not want to get used to this, and thus, as she spun around to meet Ori face to face, she extended her hand and fired the Cero from her body along with some of her own Reiryoku from her Shunkō. The resulting projectile being a silver and black wave trimmed with crimson, rocketing towards Ori at a high speed, intent on blowing up in his face.

What happened to the peace and quiet he enjoyed just a few short hours prior? One minute Kaz's sole worry was getting his hair wet and now he has to look behind him him in the event someone wanted his head to be a decoration above thier fireplace. Honetly, cero were flying, buildings were catching on fire, and monstrous reiatsu flares coming from everywhere. With all this cocnfusion, it was a mircale that he actually found Jacques, the man simply writing in his book as usual. What worried him mpost was that a shinigami was close to him as well, and still it didn;t seem to draw his eyes away from his book. Standing above both Sephira and Shinigami, his hands were cupped to amplify his voice. "Jac, pay attention!" Choosing to freefall, he eventually makes contact with ground, the ground cracking beneath him as he props himself up from the curling position he used to lessen the strain on his legs.

"Hello? Jac? Notice the shinigami right there?!"

His finger was pointing to Elisia as his other hand went for one of his guns. As he was about to aim, he recognized the target, a raised brow in surprise took away his angry look he was giving his companion. "Hey its you! You're that girl's sister! Looking good...." He doubted she would recognize him at this point. The last she ever saw him, he was a pint sized runt, and it was more of her sister that he fought anyway, as she seemed busy. The only major point he remembered about this girl was the fact that they decided to attack on her wedding day, not the best memory to connect someone with. Drawing his weapons anyway, he chose rather to hang them loosely in his hands as he stared at his friend. From where he was, he couldn't read what he had written, but it hardly mattered. Looking to Jacques, he pats the man on the shoulder, giving the older friend a sheepish smile. "Can I have this one? I know its weird asking for a opponent, but still....." Staring at Elisia briefly, he looks back to his friend for a reply. The last time he let her sister live too, he wondered if he would do the same today. Maybe if Ori or someone who wasn't strict of the rules didn't come by, he wouldn't. If not, well, his hands would be tied at that point.

[Baaaaaaaaaaaah! Dx So not in Sephira mood today, will make bettah later~ :3]

She watched Elisia leave with the corner of her eye, as Arian was hurtling straight for a building. Constant training with everyone has given her a better time staring into those masks, but Elisia has only seen them..what, twice now? She wasn't used to the sight nor the pressure the formation of a mask gave off, that usual stifling feeling. She had a look on her face that just screamed fear, fear at Nu, fear over the power she obtained through much hardship. She prayed to whatever god that she would never see that look of fear on Lee's face, he would never see this mask, she would have to apologize to Elisia later for frightening her, but until then.....

It was when she stopped thinking about Elisia that a dull pain shot up her arm from where she punched the man. Looking at her prosthetic carefully, it seemed like bits where the "human skin" was burnt off from her fist, either by the cero mini explosion, or by Arian himself. If she had used her normal arm, she could have well have easily broke it by her one attack alone, the thought giving her a small shudder. It looked like both of them were getting serious, as while Arian was talking, the whole building he crashed into gave out and buckled within itself, crashing all around the Sephira. The last image she saw was him raising his sword, a stance she knew from her last excursion with him, and it meant trouble. With the familiar feeling returning, she instinctively took a step back, the pillar of fire she knew from last time seemed to be more vicious as it tore away at the building, enshrouding it, melting it into nothing but ash and liquid metal. Her theory was right in the sense that he has gotten stronger as well. As confident as she was, the last time she was fighting, she had Lee with her, and it was Yuki that finished him off. With noone around, she had to have the fullest confidence in her ability to defeat him, especially before this mask gave out.

Even with her mask, and her shunko adding some levels of protection, she could never forget the feeling of Arian's reiatsu. It wasn't the choking feeling that Hei gave off, nor was it the euphoric sensation that she usually received from Yuki, but that did not make it any less dangerous. It seemed that what he gave up in speed, he trained in other aspects, like his pressure. Still, it was nothing a captain couldn't handle, as Nu stared back into those blazing balls of fire that was once his eyeballs. It was harder to read him in this state. He never gave off any hints on his attacks, his mouth was sealed shut, and his eyes were fire.....great. Steadying her breathing, a wave of her hand summons two fiery beasts in the shape of lions to burst forth from craters in the ground, roaring authentically to the real thing. A simple point to Arian and her new creations charged for the man, aiming to bite his arm and leg respectively in an attempt to pin him down. While she watched them charge, she immediately clapped her hands together, compressing all of her electrical energy of her shikai into the palms of her hands. If Arian remembered previously from their last battle, this was the same move used in a failed attempt to skewer his Path. With enough energy channeled into the palms of her hands, she slowly begins to separate her two hands, her lightning taking a more stable form, in the shape of a spear. "Byakuraishō". Hopefully the beasts could hold down the man, or they could self destruct at her leisure for smoke cover. In any case, she threw the spear four foot spear of pure electrical energy at the Sephira, aimed more at his abdomen then anything else.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxLoneliness hit me suddenly,
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxbut it’s only t h e n that I realized,
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxafter all that I have ever DREAMED of,
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxI really don’t like F I G H T I N G

The silence was quite awkward, since most of the Shinigami present didn’t seem to want to say anything. Luckily they were dismissed before it could drag on for too long. Turning around, she opened her mouth to say something but instead was distracted by her sister’s gaze, which she followed to Lee pulling Nu away. Eh. She was happy for Nu, who was one of the few acquaintances she knew, and to tell the truth, wasn’t too perturbed by the fact that there was another woman that would be left out. After all, she didn’t know that…girl very well at all. Perhaps that had something to do with her inability to greet people well. Feeling an odd presence on her hair, she looked up, only to hear her sister’s reply before the other girl darted off for one thing or another. “Tch,” she mumbled under her breath in an irritated voice before slowly heading towards the rooftop and to the Senkaimon.

Stepping back into Seireitei, she let the familiar atmosphere simply wash over her for a few seconds, before her hand leapt to the side of her zanpakuto. There was no point in taking risks or chances at this moment in time and while one of her enemies had forgiven her and healed her in her last battle, it wouldn’t be definite that something like that would happen again. She couldn’t be a nuisance for anybody yet again. Testing her speed for a short while, she skidded to a halt, feeling the strange presence of two Arrancar. “Bastards,” she commented in a soft voice as a dark shadow flickered across her face. There was a Shinigami near them as well – her sister. As she was unsure where the other enemies and allies would be at the moment, she darted towards her sister, appearing in a whirl and crouched down low. Unlike Elisia, she drew her zanpakuto, eyeing the two of them with anger and irritation. They were all that were stopping them from being able to go back into Seireitei and no matter what, she’d make sure that they would be gone before too soon.

Jacques would actually take the time to turn slowly, and then write down what the two shinigami looked like from their distance. He snaps the book shut and looks to Kaz, "Kaz, you can have the little sister.. I think I would like to go against a Captain today. Oh, if that is alright, I mean.. you can have the Captain if you want, actually." Jacques was treating the situation like 'who was going to get the blah-blah flavored gumball.' He rips the five foot blade from the Earth, ripping up materials of which as well. He twirls the blade through the air like a normal sized blade. He liked to flourish his blade now and then, and here was a chance. He leans the blade over his shoulder and stares at the shinigami and sonidos to about twenty feet in front of Elisia. He was surprisingly fast for his size, and even if they had been as far as 1200 feet from here, or at 400 meters, he would have gotten there within three blinks of an eye. He stares Elisia down, "I am sorry girl, but me and my fellow would like to ask you two to dance, if that would be okay.. If it's not, I'll find another Shinigami."

In those words he was speaking very calmly and almost like he was talking to friends, but sarcasm was dressed by the considerate tone. He places his book in his sash, "Please, strain from hitting my biography.. I like to write and it's a way to forever preserve my past." He holds his blade to his side and lets out a heavy sigh. The shinigami didn't look tense when he had been first looking at her. He began to question if she really even did mean to fight either of the two. In any case, he just hoped that it would be over before he had to release his blade on anyone. This certain Sephira seemed to be a little off at times, but he was just a rather relaxed one. The red lines down his face connect with each blink he does. He looks at the little sister, staring down at her, and slowly moves towards her. He kept his blade over his shoulder, as he was merely testing what this shinigami would do, and what the sister would react as to the situation. He was a man to test before he dives in to any deal.
