And lol, actually, most of my collection is second-hand as well. I bought most of it all on Yahoo!Japan Auctions, in giant lots of old/used toys. Only a few things were n**, and 99% of those were taken out of their packaging to much chagrin of "real" collectors everywhere lol. And I've been toying with the idea of making a collection thread for quite a while now, but if I made it, I'd be afraid that people would think I only made it to rub my own collection in other peoples' faces. . __.

And lol my collection is SO dusty, too. I tried cleaning it all off when I took the selling pictures, but gave up quickly. xD

And awww, thank you~. I really like that dress. I wore it Friday when I went to Disney, and it held up pretty well. The hem started to fray, though, and I need to shorten the straps. But baaah. Everyone loves it anyway. And I am scarily skinny. Idek why.


@Re: Drawing: I love drawing couples. I'm a huge sap, so getting to draw two people in love really pleases me because i live vicariously through them. Kissing, however, I just can never get right. I don't like the anime-way, and the "realistic" way just looks really really weird. :|

I never got a paypal until recently, and I went crazy getting final details for my Matsumoto cosplay [weeks finding a wig], so I'm kinda spent. Plus, FinAid hasn't come in yet... D: ajhdflakjhfdksaljfhdklasjsfadhujhdfsau It pisses me off that that's where all my rent/misc money comes from.

Mine's so dusty, the plushies can't get clean, even if I threw them in the wash. 'Cept for the bathroom buddy bulbasaur, because he's meant to go into water. And my talking pika's so old, it's a pale yellow-green color. And the battery compartment often corrodes. But I think he'd still talk an' stuff. I should try that soon.

I tried drawing a kissy with my OC and Lance awhile back, at Christmas. I learned two things--- 1) That when I get serious about drawing, I'm totally zoned out and 2) Never to draw kissy again. Plus, I like, cheated and drew Lance's back. [What sucks is that his cape was there too, and so I had to erase all my hard work. XD]
I can't think of any other romantic poses other than the kissy. ;-; I'm so lame like that.

XDDD I see how much dust is on them everyday. I'm thinking of getting plastic wrap and putting that around the shelf [Seriously.], until I can get/have room for a glass/plastic/clear display shelf. The only ones that don't have dust are Ka [My talking Pikachu] and the giant Togepi who's name I've forgotten. I have a list of all the nicknames for my Pokemerch. xD I was a lonely child and no one wanted to play with me. Oh, but I finally filled up my Togepi. He was so flat that I could feel the floor through him if I sat on him.

I got myself some patterns for cheap, but I think I forgot to check for size. XDDD One of them's a dress in the 14-20 range or 16-22, so I gotta luck out. I have a buncha leftover fabric, but never enough to make a real dress. Where the hell are all you people getting your plethoras of fabric?! WHY MUST EVERYONE BUT ME HAVE FAMILY MEMBERS THAT SEW?! ;-;

Mine stand. ._. Although, lately, I've been trying to do more varied poses. Poor Leaf became the test subject for a stand pose, and a commission for a foreshadowing jump pose. And they don't really turn out that well. Sitting is confusing me because I'm so used to standing anatomy! gonk

I think it's been several years since I last cleaned/organized my shelves. So there's like, a measurable amount of dust on both the figures and the shelf. I could probably make fabric out of it if I gathered it. xD

But the remnants are hardly big enough to even make a golf cap out of! ;-;
[Yes, Wal-Mart is nice when you aren't looking for anything in particular/don't need to ask questions about the origins of a fabric, and care about price only. Sucks if you actually need a particular fabric, though, or you have a question. They don't know ANYTHING about their invo. D: Or are there. I waited around for like, ten minutes for a lady to come and cut up the fabric. And... x-x]

The internet gives me ADD. And I end up being away from what I was doing, because I steal the net from the outside. D: Hopefully I can manage my online class.
