Stretching briefly she rattled off an undiscernable phrase her clothing being enveloped in a brilliant white light. As the glow fade she stood about clad in layered t-shirt over jeans. Her hair in its usual braid with her favorite bandanna holding back the majority of her bangs.
Letting out a sigh exasperation she grasped the first tome from the top of stack and flipped through the pages. It depicted several ruins presumebly in southeast asia. Bllinking the form of delapidated Buddha she wrinkled her brow. The sight looked strangely familiar to her. Smirking it occured to her that perhaps it had something to do with part of her previous life. Though she had managed to reclaim many of the memories of her past, there were still gaping holes in time. Such was understandable in comparison to how long ago it was when she was last truely Anima.
Smirking it occured to her that perhaps Anima had taken a liking to the region and thus it explained why she appeared to be of Malaysian descent. Though in retrospect the choice of emerald green hair must have been a attempt to distinguish herself from the rest of the people. How she ended up in Holland was probably another story entirely.
Smirking she set aside the book and moved onto the next one in the stack. which was a graphic novel anthology. At that moment she smiled unexpectantly hearing the sound of her husbands voice.
"Don't mind me love...I did most of the heavy lifting already. It builds stamina and I don't want to become lazy."
Stroking his cheek as he embraced her she smiled. She pulled the water from his grasp.
"Thanks sweetie. You could help me sift through this mess though."

"That is what I ment love, I figured you brought all the books down. And I'm sure you also did it the hard way."
::He smiled as he opened his bottle of water and began to drink. He drank half of the bottle and lowered it from his lips with a soft sigh of refreshment.
He placed the bottle down on the floor and moved next to her. He reached up and took one of the books off the top of the next stack and began to skim through the pages looking at the text.
Looking at his wife and holding the book open and looking back at the text. He then looked back at her and closed it softly::
"You can read all of these and in southeastern Asian?

Shaking her head she smiled.
"Not really... Thats actually english your looking at....just a dilect put in written form. Regardless I usually have to cast a transalation spell on them to get anything out of it. Though thankfully most of them are in English so I don't have to do much digging. "
Pulling off a cooking book from the stacks she set it aside.
"I hate deciding on which books stay...I can't read them all, but it feels like I'm being unfaithful when I pass them up."
Frowning a bit she shrugged twisting off the cap of her water.
"I feel as though I should take the whole lot and just find a place for it, but it will just collect dust if I leave it like it is. Its so sad."
Taking a drink she sighed gazing longingly at the stack.

"How about this, make a small portal in our room like you did in your old one that connected to the Soul Fountain, but it ours. I'll build a small library for all your books. That way you can use them all whenever you need and they won't collect dust."
::He smiled at her not knowing what her reaction was going to be, but it was most likely be a "thank you, but no thank you" either way he was going to help her no matter what she wanted to do. Not because he was suppose to being her husband, but because he wanted too.
He kissed her softly on the cheek and opened another book and began to skim the pages and look at the different spells that it held. This was all intresting in his eyes and as she said made no sense::
"Hey I thought you were gonna teach me some of your craft love?"

Wrinking her nose at teh though she shook her head.
"Nah...that would be like taunting myself with them. I barely read the book in Soul Fountain. I woudln't know which ones I would want to put on the shelves anyway. I'm sure you can tell by now, I'm not the most decisive of people."
Laughing she smiled figuring he knew even before he made the offer. Wrapping her arms around him she smiled gazing to his eyes.
"You know just teaching you magic isn't as simple as that. But I suppose I can't keep dancing around the subject."
Kissing his nose she pulled away.
"I'm pretty sure you'd be able to grasp the actual practice of magic casting, but all the formulas can be a bit staggering."

"I see well if you want to take the time to teach me. I'll take the time to learn."
::He smiles and wiggled his nose as she kissed it. He kissed her on the lips softly before yawning slightly. He opened his eyes after the yawn and looked at her.
"I'm pretty tired love, and Koji needs to be fed. I'm gonna head up to the room. Don't stay down here too long."
He stood up slowly and walked out of the lounge after kissing the top of her head softly. He headed out of the lounge and made his way to the elevator and put his key in. Weh nit came down he stepped inside and hi t the button for his room to end his night::

Waving him off she continued with her book sorting. After setting aside a few more books it occured to her that her heart was not into the act.
I guess it wa just an excuse to get out into the open...
Yawing she gazed at the still looming pile.
I hope this is worth it
Grasping another she continued on. It was going to be a long night.

Waking following an ackward night of book sorting, it looked as if she had set aside a book fort for herself. Clasping her hands she stretched overhead yawning. Rolling her shoulders she proceeded to crack her back moving between the mounds that stood around her.
Damn did I even finish...
Languidly she prodded a number of the stacks inspecting their bindings for anything unfamiliar. Groaning at the sight of a photography book she didn't recognize she once again began setting aside different tomes.
At this point she had come to the conclusion that she would distinguish the books that appeared to be of lesser quality on one side and the ones she deemed informative enough on the other. This let the idea of what audience the author was trying to reach. Sighing she slumped next to a stack.
Why didn't the just send a few samples...I should have known I wouldn't be able to turn any of them away. Means I'll have to integrate them into the schema.
Grumbling she began to draw out a series of runes in the atmosphere. Following the final symbol she the began to chant a larger spell circle surrounding the symbols she had previously drawn. Spreading her arms out before she began to once more draw another series of runes, in an arch over her head. As she finished the runar sentance the entire array started to glow a brilliant hue before vanishing from view. As the glow faded what appeared to be a large keyboard made from energy itself hung in the air around her.
In the next moment she began to rapidly hit symbols, the 3 dimensional image of several bookshelves appearing before her. As she worked severals stacks vanished as mini portals crackled into existence beneath them. Within a short time she had entirely cleaned out the entire lounge of books stacks and already set them within her library. Pleased with herself she smiled.
"Good..."
Drawing another symbol within the air, the construct she had created dissolved in a hiss of static. Her work done she headed towards the elevator.

A thunderstorm was brewing when Protean passed through the heavy doors of Club Orion. The sky had already darkened with the coming of the storm's dark clouds, and the wind was easily heard howling from behind the windows. The faint pattering of rain against the glass could also be faintly heard, but the werewolf paid no attention to them as he made his way to the bar. Right now he needed something to take the chill off his bones, preferably something strong.
After taking a seat at the bar, Protean reached over the counter and snagged a full bottle of whiskey for himself, then casually tossed a few coins on the counter. The coins were made of old gold and he guessed they were adequate enough for bottle of mediocre liquor. After all, this stuff wasn't anything like what he used to drink back in the old days. Now that was some quality alcohol. Not like this factory made, pre-measured swill the modern world was so fond of.
"Eh, whatever." the werewolf mused to himself while he flipped off the bottle's cap with a thumb.
He didn't bother to pour any into a shot glass but drank straight from the bottle itself, downing the fiery liquid like it was water. The silence of the room seemed to be like a familiar friend to him, shielding him from the loud boomings of guns and the rumblings of off road vehicles. Lately, there'd been a lot of activity from the humans within his woods. And it slowly starting to work his last nerve. "Oh, sweet brown medicine..." Protean started before casting a glare to his bottle. "Oh, who the hell am I kidding?" he finished with lifting the bottle to his lips again.

Jade's eyes left Deity for the moment and locked onto those of Sir Aaron's. The elder Orinian's words sent a chill up her spine, as it took her only a second to figure out what he meant. Deity was meant to confront 'him'.....that Devil.....
She gulped a little, the thought of the Devil bringing an almost instintcual fear to her, but she pressed it back down. She turned her green eyes back over to Deity, and returned the squeeze to him, watching over him with a worried gaze. The girl leaned in and kissed him softly on his left temple before pulling away.
She'd been training with him for this moment, and if there was anything she could do to guide him, or help him, even in the slightest, she'd be ready.

"Mm. A battle fought within his very soul," User commented and then said to Jade and Sir Aaron, holding his head up at Deity. He picked his words carefully, showing his admiration of Deity: "A warrior against..." User's voice became low, subtly tinted with disrespect and hate, "A demon..."
Sabrina moved slightly in his arms, readjusting herself as she slept in the Saiya-jin's lap. The warrior merely looked at her.
