Mr. Joker,
Are you aware of the contract that has been put out on Christopher Powell?

*Stops and quirks an eyebrow.*
Is there a- uh, hostage situation going on? Cause that's totally not what I'm here for. At all.

Worse, it's a newspaper interview.

Didn't Twitter kill newspapers last year?

That is such old people talk, I bet you actually believed that whole googlezon thing too. You're just judging an emergent techology based on...
*Pulls out her iphone.*
... based on...
*Drags her finger over the screen a few times*
... it's lowest common denominator application.
*Looks back up at Piper.*
You've got to give it a chance to develop before you harsh it.

Oh, I'm not harshing the technology. I'm harshing the current crop of spoiled, stuck-up entitlees who think that the most important 'news' is whatever synapse is currently firing in their technology-dulled heads at the time.
When they find a useful application for Twitter beyond Shaq's daily joke, I'll take better notice.

Oh yes. It's one of the reasons why I came back here. I was especially intrigued once I found the motivation behind this contract. I mean...usually Lex saves those kind of contracts for the Boy Scout. But then I heard Lex was actually killed here. I mean...somebody ACTUALLY died.
So I'm sure you can imagine my curiosity.

::Lois nods, not knowing what the hell those two are talking about::
::turns to the Joker:: You want to avenge Luthor's death? I wasn't aware you two were friendly

*Pulls her iphone out again, pokes and drags a few things around, then holds it out to Piper.*
See? I get updates from the LA Times, Rolling Stone, the BBC, and Hot Topic! There's real serious news and stuff in there.

Avenge his death?
*breaks out laughing*
Oh no I don't care whether or not he was killed. It's more of the fact that he WAS killed. See...
*he leans in close to Lois*
I Really really really love killing people. It's a passion of mine. And now that I learn that there are ways of doing that here, in the Nexus?
*grins*
How can a guy like me ignore that?

You intend to kill Mr. Powell, then? What grudge do you hold against Powell?
