Alexander sprinted faster across the rooftops as the cars below ran every direction, moving not as fast as him. He made one giant leap into the air gliding over the building under him landing himself on a high ledge. As he perched himself on the ledge, he closed his eyes as he listened for anything unusual, as if he was going to find anything but in this city you never know. His thoughts began to drift to his friend; Jagger what are you getting yourself into He thought to himself before standing up and scoping the people below, still unsure of what he should do.

Core did a more than slightly depressing smile at Travis`s joke . Murmuring a small thanks at him whipping up her tears , she was truly grateful for all he had said .
Running easily to catch up to him , they walked side-by-side . Dealer and Psychic , just like the old days . As he commented on the weather , the clouds parted to show the moon . Looking up wistfully , forgetting if it was waning or waxing , her smile grew . It was full tonight , and positively beautiful .
They were like that for a few minutes . Just , walking . " Thanks , really , " Core said honestly , " and you can call me Core , you know .... "

Kara walked slowly. She sighed. After awhile she went to the roof of a building overlooking the place she first met Core. She knew her friend was mad at her. But she just didn't understand. She had to do this. After awhile she saw Core run to the fountain. Travis was there talking to her. She over heard everything he said and got angry. "So Lissa didn't give Core the note. I guess then it is over. The friendship between us." She said outloud. She just sat at the edge of the building and watched her friend walk away with another vampire.

Madeline did a great leap , landing on a 18th floor balcony of a hotel . Climbing quickly , she reached the top easily . Locating the hunter swiftly , she ran after him .
She saw he had stopped , and landed behind him . " Running away ? Truly you saw me watching you . "
His thoughts came across to hers . " And who is this Jagger anyway ? Causing quite a stir , don`t you think ? "

Travis smiled but continued to look up into the sky, he loved the stars in the night sky...
"Your absolutely welcome Miss Rathobee...I know I could call you by your first name, but it is because I respect you that I refer to you as Miss Rathobee." Travis stopped continued to look up into the sky...he sensed Kara but decided to keep it to himself. He sensed her hatred and anger and it was something that only Kara could deal with so there was no need to warn Core...
"There is only one place a night like this can be cherished and appreciated to its fullest...would you care to join me?"

Her tears had stopped , and were drying up in the creases of her eyes . She didn`t mind , though . It was a gorgeous night , and she had only just realized that Travis , too , was indeed quite gorgeous . He looked out for her , and was nothing but considerate , since they`re very first meeting . " Of course , " she said , and he held up his arm to escort her . She took it gratefully .

Kara felt horrible. She knew her friend thought she'd betrayed her. But she never did. Kara got up and dusted off her jeans. She carefully got down off the building and walked in between alleyways. Her mind went back to when her parents were still alive.
Loreli and Dean. Kara's and Shade's parents. They always took Shade and Kara everywhere with them. For they valued thier children more than having alone time. Back then she didn't have abnormal gifts. She'd been a normal Animalian. But then once when her and her brother talked them into going out alone. They had a severe accident. And they didn't survive. Kara could still picture it in her head. All the noise and yelling and screaming. And most of all the blood. Her parents were killed only a few houses away from where her and her brother were staying. When she heard her mother scream she had run out there but by the time she had gotten there her father was dead and her mother had only given her one sentence before dying. "Viva encendido y esté libre" She had to her daughter. Which means to 'Live on and be free' in Latin. From that day on she had the strange gifts.
Back in the real time she began walking back to her apartment. The one Core had bought her. She groaned. Did everything she do have to remind her of Core. Her best friend who hates her. She sighed as she walked.

Kara looked once more at the moon in the sky before going in to the apartments. She wouldn't be coming out for awhile. She needed space and more over she needed to think of how to use her powers without killing anyone.((Exits to Apartments))

Core walks slowly along the sidewalk , coming away from shore . Hands in her pockets , her silk blouse and skinny jeans were completely wet , stained with a bit of salt and blood . A bus passed , and she jumped onto the top , legs dangling off the back , watching and waiting for Travis to catch up .

Lissa had been running around for awhile trying to find Core. She gave up and decided to wake Krissor up. "Hey Kris. Wake up. I need help." She told her friend the ferret. With him guiding her she saw Core and another vamp on top of a bus. Moving really fast and making sure no one saw her she leaped onto the bus. "Hey Core. I'm only here to give you something." She said as she gave Core the note. She smiled at Core before she left.
The note said. 'The only reason i needed to accept was for you. I didn't want you hurt.'

Core laid back , looking up at the smiling Psy . " Who cares ? " she responded , enjoying the moment . She smiled back at him , and turned her head to the side , noticing the bus was just now passing Demonic Ties . At the moment , she didn`t crave blood from a bottle . She had that too much of late . Central Park sounded right to her . So she waited for the bus to go near that particular part of New York .
