Sol laughed softly as the woman revealed her name. It was his plan to make her tell him her name, because he thought it would be funner that way. Soon after the laughter faded, but a soft smile remained on his tough face. He's turquoise eyes kept staring at the woman's beautiful eyes, as he did, he brought the coffee mug to his lips and took another sip of the coffee. It was warm enough now that it would not burn if drunk rashly.
He took a moment before replying about his eyes. It had honestly been the first time that he had been asked about his eyes. "They are natural." The man replied in all honestly. Maybe it was his race, his royal blood line, or just that he was unique. "You have a beautiful name Alanis." He replied softly, bringing his mug down to his lap.
"So what are you doing here in New York?"

Alanis had a thing about maintaining eye contact too long. Perhaps it was because she'd grown up being told not to stare into dog's eyes but she also didn't like staring into people's eyes for too long either. It just made her uncomfortable and it seemed kind of strange and rude to stare at someone. Making eye contact with strangers was just kind of awkward for her but it seemed that this man didn't mind it too much. However, her shyness got the better of her and she decided to use inspecting her coffee as a distraction and first examined the cup and turning it around in her hands before taking another sip.
Had she known this had been the first time that someone bothered to ask him about his eyes she probably wouldn't believe him. Maybe there were a lot of strange people and beings in New York but that didn't mean that things couldn't still seem kind of strange. Maybe she was just too used to Melbourne. Vampires didn't seem to like it there as much or lycans though now that she was in the loop she heard that a ton of demons had made their homes there.
"Oh wow. That's really cool. I wish my eyes were naturally that colour, they're really striking and pretty."
Upon being told that she had a beautiful name the huntress seemed to shy away. She blushed and hastily took a sip of her coffee though she took it too fast and a little too much and ended up choking on the coffee as opposed to pulling off that calm, chill, intended sip. She cleared her throat as gracefully as one could clear a throat and went back to fiddling with her cup. Her plan had failed miserably and as a result her face became even more red at the prospect.
"I was actually looking to join the force possibly. I wasn't sure if I was going to go into criminal psych or forensics at first but I think I decided on criminal psych. It seemed pretty interesting. How about you?"

Sol let out a soft chuckle as the woman took a sip of her coffee. He had noticed how uncomfortable she had got as he stared into her eyes. It was common for anyone to look for any excuse to look away, and he knew that she would be using the coffee to look away. He chuckled because the girl just looked, what is that word, he could not find it. -He was looking for either cute or adorable-
He smiled once the woman recovered. He looked away now, didn't want to make her choke again. But he was still thinking about the woman's beautiful eyes. "That accent...Where are you from?" He asked, rather bluntly he realized after he had asked. There was no way around it now.
He did not know what was happening to him, being around that woman just made him feel a bit funny. Of course, the limits were not to be tested.
Then he realized he had avoided her question. He turned his turquoise eyes back at the woman and smiled. "Oh I'm sorry. I am just here wandering. I have no where to go, and all day to get there." The man quickly replied to her with his deep voice. His smile still refusing to fade.

Alanis managed to pull the coffee thing off with a nervous laugh as well as staring, embarrassed, at her coffee cup as opposed to the man beside her. She knew, though, that she would have to make eye contact with him again eventually though she kind of dreaded it now after she'd butchered her attempt at taking a simple sip of coffee. How was someone supposed to butcher such a simple task? Apparently she'd managed. A better question in her case could have been how could someone butcher the scene she'd just made even more so than she had? Perhaps spilling some scaulding hot coffee on the guy's lap?
"Noticed the accent, huh? I was born in Ireland but we moved to Australia when I was about ten years old. I still have a wee bit o' Irish in me accent if you listen carefully."
Instead of using the cup as a distraction since she'd look like a complete and total tard if she simply kept staring at the cup, she hunched over in order to pet her Doberman which was now lying on the ground. In doing so her long red lockes draped across her shoulders and shielded her pale face from sight for a moment until she sat back up and faced him when he began explaining what exactly it was he was doing in New York.
"Not a problem. Wandering? Do you mean travelling? Oh ... that kind of wandering. I get it now, I think. What do you do for your living, if you don't mind me asking."
This man was certainly strange and intriguing, not to mention he was an absolute hunk. His body was absolutely perfecto and while the dreads were slightly discouraging they managed to suit him in strange, unexplainable fashion. His height was pretty massive in comparrison to her puny five foot five but that was alright with her. His eyes, though, those had been what had managed to catch her attention the most. They were haunting and absolutely beautiful, she was envious of those eyes.

Sol, trying not to stare at the woman, brought his mug of coffee back up to his lips. He was still smiling as he took a sip of his drink, he was careful not to commit the same mistake as the woman. If he choked on the coffee, the sound would be a lot coarser than the soft cough that the woman had done. As he drank his coffee, he noticed from the top of the mug, that the woman bent down to pet her dog. He saw the beautiful red hair. She was definitively a catch.
"Those are two very strong accents. Haven't been to Ireland, but I spent some time in Australia." He replied as soon as he brought the mug back down to his lap. He turned his head after speaking, he was now looking forward again and just staring at the distance. He realized that the woman must have a life during the day, so she might want to keep talking as they walked. But not yet.
"I do whatever job comes my way, if I need money. As you can see, I'm not doing too bad." He chuckled softly as he replied. He slowly turned back tot he woman, and he was still wearing that soft smile.

Alanis still remained mostly ignorant of the man's interest in her. Of course she realized that he seemed interested in her origins as well as her reason for being in New York but she didn't realize that he was kind of getting the butterflies in the stomach over her. As for him choking on his coffee, it'd probably startle the s**t out of her and she might jump and spill the rest of her own coffee. Upon that thought she subconsciously took another sip, hoping to rid herself of the substance as fast as possible as as not to be inconvenienced by it. Carrying it would be annoying as well as accidentally spilling it. After all, this coat wasn't super costly but it'd been worth some money for sure.
"Yeah they are. But they blend together pretty well. Australia and Ireland have had ties to one another since forever, England too. It's why all those accents have similarities but differences. Oh? Where did you stay in Australia? And if you like the heat I definitely don't recommend the Emerald Isles. It's constantly raining there and when it's not raining it's snowing or it's blaring hot out. Ridiculous weather over there, really."
She kept her ears perked as he explained that he decided to do whatever jobs came his way. So he was a freelancer more or less and was just kind of exploring the world from the sounds of things. It kind of made her wonder where he was from. She could assume Africa but from what she heard when he spoke he didn't seem to have much of an accent so she didn't know where to place him on the globe based solely off his voice. She did, however, like his voice, it was deep and guttural, it had a beast-like tendency to it but it was gentle at the same time and extremely intriguing. She'd dare to say sexy since the rest of him was pretty gorgeous anyhow.
"A freelancer, huh? It sounds like your entire life's an adventure of some sort! Where are you originally from? And no, you're not doing bad at all. Sorry if I implied that at all, I didn't mean to."
His smile was something she'd grown quite accustomed to and she enjoyed it. The smile in itself managed to comfort her and make her a little less nervous though she still didn't make eye contact a whole lot. However, she periodically looked at him when either he or herself were speaking just so that she didn't seem like a complete and total freak of nature. Then again she was Irish so she had an excuse.

Sol softly chuckled as the woman suddenly began talking about Australia and the Emerald Isles. He could not help but keep his eyes on her and smile. she looked like that word that he could not figure out earlier. -cute or adorable again- "You certainly know a lot about the world. But I can't tell you where I am originally from because...Well I don't know myself. I have always been traveling across the world. When I was a child I moved around with my parents, then when I was too old for my father, I went on my trip alone." He replied, not it was his turn to stare into the ground. It was a story that he did not tell, but it was only a glimpse of it.
He then turned back to the woman, still with his gentle smile. "It must be late for you, since you have a day job." He said softly as he stood up. He now had to look down at the woman, waiting for her to stand. "I can walk you home, if you want." He added softly, the last part was said nearly under his breath.

"Not all that much. My parents just kind of decided to cart me back and forth between Ireland and Australia sort of thing. We had the Grandparents, my mum's parnets in Ireland and a huge portion of dad's family in Australia so we moved there."
Upon hearing that he didn't even know where he was originally from the woman frowned and looked somewhat perplexed at the idea. It was almost unheard of in her world that someone didn't know where they were originally from. Perhaps her guess about Africa wasn't all that far off then but she really had no basis upon which to rest her conviction. For all she knew and apparently for all he knew he could have been born in Japan and was a citizen there and owned a really cool corporate company he knew nothing about.
"Oh wow. That seems unfortunate you don't know where you're originally from. I suppose it's not that important but you know what I mean. But travelling the world all your life sounds like an adventure for sure but I think it'd get a little tiring after a while. Maybe that's just me."
She actually noticed that for the first time that Sol seemed to be the one shying away from her as he was now voluntarily looking at the ground instead of her. This made her ponder his words about his father and his trips around the world with his parents. Perhaps something had gone wrong? Either way she could tell that there was a reason behind him not explaining further and that he did not wish to be pursued on the topic. While she was known for her curiousity she also knew when to lay low and just keep quiet.
"I don't actually have a permanent job landed yet. I still have to apply with the coppers here in New York."
When asked if she wanted to be walked home she couldn't help but blush at the offer. Sure he was a large man and she was pretty average but he really had no idea just what she was capable of. She'd already told him that she was a cop so he must have had some idea that she was able to defend herself. Of course she wasn't going to unnecessarily admit to an acquaintance that she was a hunter. She didn't know how he'd handle the information and her read on him was that he definitely wasn't human, that was for sure.
"Sure. That'd be wonderful. I mean I have my big bad pooch here with me and I'm a cop so if you're worried I'm going to get mugged or something please don't waste your time. But if you're up for a walk then feel free."

Sol had noticed at first sight that the woman could handle herself in a fight. She had probably studied martial arts, or was an athlete. She definitively looked like she had been working on her body for a long number of years. He did not care, he knew that she would not get mugged, but he wanted to keep talking to her.
He smiled as the woman stood up. She could have rejected his offer, since she obviously did not need him around. She either liked his company or she was leading him to a trap. The later was highly unlikely. After a moment of standing close to each other, both of them quickly turned towards the street and began walking. They kept on talking while they walked the streets. The night would soon be over, and the vampires will soon crawl into their hiding.
Sol walked the woman all the way to her apartment, leaving her at her doorstep and them walked back to the street until he found a suitable place to rest.

Victor walked out to the streets again after an hour or so. He was back to his normal self. He looked around making sure no one had noticed him while stalking his prey. He continued to walk down the sidewalk keeping an eye out for anything that might attack him, or anything he thinks might attack him.
Victor was getting bored. He had not had a fun night so far. No vampires, hunters, or demons had been seen so far. He was getting incredibly bored. He looked around looking for something that might resemble any of the other opposing races. Victor sniffed the air for a moment trying to find something, but he could not pinpoint anything, so he just kept walking.

As Alexander continued to walk down the busy streets of New York, he noticed a man walking out of an alleyway looking somewhat relaxed as if a great burden had been lifted off of him. When he took a closer look, her noticed it was a lycan, obviously had just finished feeding, and was looking for more excitement. He quickly checked his gun to see how many magazines he had left of silver bullets, he had about 2 left, knowing that it would not be enough he decided that he would only attack if the lycan made the first move.

Kara flinched. "You felt that? I thought that only people in the same room could feel it." She asked her brother. *Yeah right. Sure normal people didn't feel it but i'm still tied to you. I feel almost everything you do. Anyway. Are you gonna lead us? I see it in your eyes. You need the things more than we do. But you just decided to give up when your body lives on it. Why do you think you flinch when someone touches you? Its cause your powers are trying to find a way out but at the same time your gaining things. It hurts you but it helps you. So you see you should do these things with us.* Shade taunted. He then laughed his animal laugh when Kara glared at him. Kara didn't know what to do. Cause it all made sense to her. If she'd opened her mind to think about it she probably would've figured this out awhile ago. "Give me a sec. I need to think." She told Shade.

Core concentrated very hard . She had traveled only with other vampires , and had no clue how to figure out what they were saying . This was proving to be highly difficult .

Lissa stopped walking and closed her eyes. She turned around and walked back towards the vamp. "Listen i'm sorry. I didn't mean to pry. Anyway my name is Vasilissa. Or Lissa for short." She told the girl quietly. She then turned to Krissor. "Tell her what the panther is saying." She told Krissor. Krissor stared at Lissa. Then after while he sighed. "The panther is saying that the girl should become the leader so she can let her power free without feeling the after affect like when she touches people." He summed up for them. He then hopped up on Lissa's head and curled into a ball.
