Core realized that these two might be helpful . With her mouth in a hard line , she decided to let them be , and walked back over to a spot where Kara was visible again . " What is Shade saying now ? " she asked .

Krissor looked at Lissa. When she nodded he sighed his ferret-like sigh."The panther. Or Shade asked the girl if she'd changed her mind on becoming the leader of the gang." Krissor told the vamp. He then looked at Lissa who was watching the other Animalians. "Don't you dare try anything Lis." He warned.

The human named Vasilissa started to step forward , but Core took off her silver doubled sided sword , and putting on end in front of her , stopped the girl from walk . " Don`t . Hurt . Them . " Giving a muted demand , Core had a piercing gaze that looked right through the girl . Appreciating her life , the girl understood and stepped back . " Don`t speak , except for your ferret boy , and only when the panther says something , understood ? " she threateningly asked the two .

Kara studied her brother carefully. "Besides now that Kenile is gone. What do you expect to do?" She asked. *Oh come on Kar. I know you feel the need too. Back in the other plane we all used to use our abilities to do things to the lesser groups. We could steal from them, use your ability to control them or short amounts of time. And other glorious things. You remember the good days don't you." Shade asked his little sister. Kara flinched. "I'll never do that again." She told him coldly.

Lissa smiled. "Ok Core." She told the vamp. Krissor on the other hand just puffed up and stayed silent. Even when the panther started talking. He didn't tell them what he said. More than anything, he hated being threatened. If he was he stayed quiet.

Core listened intently to the conversation . Do what ? she wondered , waiting for the ferret to translate . Core suddenly stood up straight , and slowly turned around . Caring the girl by her neck , she dropped her off a few alleys farther away from the brother sister duo . " How , do you know my name ? " she asked , the sword coming dangerous close to the girl`s throat . Travis thought she was so trusting of other races , if only he saw her now .

Lissa was shocked when Core put a sword to her neck. But in a flash. Faster than Core knew. She had her knives out and was backed up about ten feet. "Well Sorry. I used a power of mine. You see i'm an Altered Human and well i wanted to know your name. Cause it'd be nice to know who i'm talking to. But since you want to be that way.... Krissor lets go. She's too rude to hang out with. Besides i wanna find Cassandra." Lissa told her ferret friend and started walking away.

Kara just stood and stared at her brother. "Is there any other crazy reason as to why i should be the leader?" She asked him. *Come on sis. I feel it in you. Your powers are driving you crazy. They used to be used alot and now that they aren't. They're hurting you. And it won't stop until you use them. Remember back when we were kids and you had used an ability but didn't use it again. You killed the guy you liked. And you were scared and didn't know what to do. It'll happen that way sooner or later.* Shade told Kara cooly.

Core watched the two leave , she didn`t care too much . Too noisy for their own good , so much like Madeline . Another silly human .
Core walked back over to where the Animalians were standing , her sword upon her back again . Gratefully , she had yet to miss any of the conversation . Although , Shade did a long speech , which was complete nonsense without a translator .

((Lissa saw her name is Core's mind. Which is why she found Core's name.And Lissa is faster than normal Altered humans.))
Lissa sighed. "I really do feel bad leaving her to all those animalians. I mean she's like totally outnumbered and she also can't tell what the animals are saying." She told Krissor. Krissor looked at Lissa. "You know Lis, I normally would agree with you but she threated both you and me and i hate that. So i say good riddance..... i hope she gets eaten." Krissor said crossly.

Core hissed at the two retreating figures . Kara was her friend , so outnumbered was completely wrong . She continued to listen silently .
