Aye...co'siderin' the situation, I 'ave a hunch 'bout what it might be. Just a hunch, tho'...
::The tall Hykanan Knight sighs softly with a shrug, disappointed in himself that he doesn't really know what to do. Then again, the most vague of ideas is better than not a clue at all. Shortly after Jade looks away, Aaron's eyes follow, and he sees another approaching: Valin. Following the young Jade's brief introduction of the large wolf demon, Sir Aaron delivers a brief two-fingered salute with his left hand from his forehead toward the Jedi. He's met him before, but the girl wouldn't know, so he opts not to say anything about it. Just as that very thought crosses his mind, Valin responds, not recognizing the Orinian. Stifling an amused laugh, he shakes his head with a smile, his elbow returning to his left knee.::
Oy there, young lad. I thank you for your concern.

Valin shrugged and grabbed the bottle of whiskey again with his machine hand, taking a drink.
"I do my best," The Jedi explained to Aaron, "Sadly, my expertise as a starfighter pilot, Jedi Knight, or demolitions aren't always enough to help. Though you would be amazed at how some situations can be helped with a bomb..."
Jedi were said to be eccentric, but Valin took it to the extreme. It was an act, of course. It threw people off, it left them wondering, guessing, and confused. And a true Jedi knew the art of misdirection was useful - it left the mind open to probing and left the defenses down.
And so Valin played the part of the fool.
It didn't matter - the Force seemed to watch out for fools such as he.

Cain came walking into the main room. “Please tell me someone wants a drink.” Cain made his way to the sayian/jedi congregation. "But the dew up there is mine; no touchy.”

((night Red! *hugs and waves*))
Jade waited politely in silence as Sir Aaron and Valin spoke for a moment, glancing around the room. After a moment, she walked over to one of the tables and pulled out a chair to sit down. The last few days had been draining on her, and she didn't have as much energy as she usually did.
When there was a break in the conversation between Valin and the Knight, the woman spoke up again.
"You have a hunch as to what's happening to Deity, Sir Aaron..?"
Even if it was a hunch, Jade was desperate for almost any information that might help her love. She waved them both over to sit with her, knowing Valin was concerned about Deity, and perhaps some outside input could help as well.
Jade lifted her head as the stranger came in. Slowly she shook her head at the offer of a drink. The last thing she wanted right now was alcohol, and she just wasn't thirsty right now.
