" He`s asleep , demon , " answered Core calmly , turning around to face the new man . She was wondering if and how the demon knew the bleeding lycan . Interracial friendships were not common . The friendship Kara , Core , Kile , and all their friends had was extremely rare , and almost completely unheard of .

Kara noticed his smell when Core said he was a demon. Afterall Kara wasn't known for her sense of smell. "So your a demon. Whats your race?" Kara asked him. She relaxed just a little but not much.

From the darkness of an alleyway, a voice is heard...
"As big as this city is, I always seem to run into you Miss Rathobee...and you always seem to have some sort of demon following, besides the lovely Kara of course..." Travis smirked as he walked out of the darkness behind the demon...
"Cant you see that this lycan is injured? Perhaps you can settle your quarrel at another time, perhaps when hes conscious and able to talk? Miss Rathobee and Kara dont need any more trouble for the night. Travis was calm and sincere with his words, he was actually a bit embarrassed to be in the same place as Core after his awkward actions earlier...
"Just because he is a lycan and smells as such, doesnt mean he knows or is related in any way to the alpha..." Travis spoke knowing that the demon certainly knew what he spoke of.

" He`s not Animalian , if that`s what your asking , " Core answered for him , turning to face him now . Casually , Core touched Kara`s hand , and showed her how Demons smell , and how Demons of different abilities would smell different . Following that she showed the more intricate pattern of difference between actual Demons , as a person . Letting go of her hand , she did a small smile .
On an outcoming breeze , she smelled the Psy named Travis , and turned in that direction , morbidly curious .

Yet again when Core touched Kara she cringed. Even though Core only tried to show her of the special scents to demons she actually saw alot more than she wanted. She heard the other Psy Vamp and turned. "Hi again i guess." She said to him.

When Kara cringed , she smiled sorrowly . " I have nothing to hide Kara , " Core said reassuringly , " over time you would know it all anyway . " Core stroked her hair kindly , not making contact with any of her skin . It was obvious how Kara felt about her power . Secretly , Core hopped Travis had heard them , for he knew everything about her . Blackmail was a deadly weapon , and she wanted him to know that if he tried to use that angle to get her to do something , he was sadly wrong . Of course , she had never bothered to put up psychic barriers when someone was reading her mind . Other uses of Psychic ability were another matter all together ....

Travis switched his attention from the demon to Kara and Core with a smile...
"Hello again Miss Kara, Im sorry I had taken Miss Rathobee from you, it was not my intention to put you in any vulnerable situation in which you would be in any sort of danger. Miss Rathobee, I apologize for our meeting again, you seem to be a bit perturbed..." Travis knew Core was suspicious of him, he knew he wasnt making it any better by always showing up.

Kara looked at Core. "Even if you don't have anything to hide i don't like it when my power looks in anyway." Kara told Core. She then turned to face Travis. "Its fine that she went away. Its not like i need her to survive. Even though having her as a friend has been getting alot off my mind." Kara told Travis coolly.

" No worries , " answered Core , " in such a large city , sticking together seems necessary , doesn`t it ? " she asked rhetorically .
" Come to warn me about this lycan , now ? " Core asked sacastially , feeling grateful for his concern with her , though found it unneeded .

Travis smiled at Kara...
"I know you dont need her, but i also know what it feels like to be alone and i know what it feels like to be as confused about myself as you are about yourself, that is why I apologize..." Travis then looked at Core and let out a small laugh...
"The lycan? No, not at all, im sure a dealer of your caliber knows enough about Lycans. Im not here to warn you about anything, i just felt that you seem to always end up in the middle of someone elses negative intentions. Im just kindly asking this demon to allow you to do what you feel is necessary and not to start anything with you in the middle. Travis smirked then looked kindly at the demon...

Core faced Kara with a fang showing , but not enormous , smile on her face . " Comfort is similarities , comfort in being accepted . We`re an indangered species , technically . All of us ... " she thought about the ratio of vampire , lycan , and demon compared to the humans . " Sticking together keeps our sanity . On top of that , there`s much safety . Safety in numbers , safety from those who live to kill , and kill to live . " Hunters are great trouble makers , and it sadened her deeply how so many of them are traitors to their race , and other inhumans .
After that she faced Travis , her smile shrinking , but not fading . " Thank you for your concern , but I`m sure that you know very well that I am no one`s puppet . "
Looking up at the moon , she wished tonight was the night where all was dark except for the stars . She loved New York , but oh , how she missed the stars .

"My given class here is a speed demon, Daiguren Hyourinmaru," he looked at the other the vampire who he had seen in the park, "Alpha? I'm not sure what you mean...i can't remember much there's this hazel, but i remember the smell of lycan blood."
He started backing up quickly several images started to flash through his head and a signal name. "Ceon...." his voice trailed off. He looked at them all with a different conviction, "Who are you and do you know if the lycan Ceon still lives here?"

Travis listened to Core talk about sticking together to Kara, he agreed with what she said but still knew that no matter what he was on his own and he accepted it. When Core turned to him and got defensive, he knew it was his time to leave. There was nothing he could do to get rid of her suspicion of him. She thought his kind intentions were part of a bigger plan or motive, it sickened him. Someone who cared about Lycan and Demons just as much if not more than her own kind was suspicious of his kind acts, it was sort of humorous...
"I understand Miss Rathobee, I know when to take my leave..." Travis smirked grimly then turned to walk away, putting his hand up as if to say no other words were needed. Before he disappeared into the darkness of the alleyway, he spoke to the demon...
"Daiguren Hyourinmaru, everything will come back to you, just be patient..."
