When everyone was seated, Torra spoke to Amiera, "So, Amiera, what time are we going to send you down the isle tomorrow? I'm so excited! I've never been involved in something so fancy or important." A waiter set a silver tray with a cover in front of her, as they had in front of the others. She , Terra, Toma, and Raiden all lowered their heads and gave a silent thanks to the demon Goddess Nyx. She was the first demon and ruled them all. Even though they were dining at a fae home and with fae, she was still in charge and was prayed to.
"Torra, none of us have been to a Fae wedding before." she chuckled. She had been seated next to Jesse. Even though he wasn't right next to her she could feel heat beaming off of him. She kept stealing glances at him from the corner of her eyes. Every glance made her blush. She noticed little things like how his eyelashes lightly brushed his cheeks every time he blinked, and the little dimple on his cheek that showed when he smiled or talked.
*Goddess, what is wrong with me?**
Chaliste appeared beside her, visible to her alone. One thing that had always made it hard for her to keep friends when she was younger. Nobody wanted to talk to a weird kid who spoke to invisible people.
*Child, just because he is a summer fae doesn't mean you should force yourself to not have feelings. Look at the others, they may have found the one they will love forever. And I understand you've only just met these people a little over a week or so ago, but the fae have auras that make the feelings you already have or may have come forth with a lot of potency. It is not a bad thing. Since their laws are so absolute, it helps them find love faster to keep from taking too long to find a mate to rule with.*
*Maybe, but I still don't know if I'm comfortable with the idea of so many demons being in love with fae. I know you can't control feelings but it's such a big change in either of the communities. And it's happening so quickly. It's all just very confusing.* She could talk to Chaliste with her mind with no issues. Which made it much less awkward for her and those around her when the two talked.
*My dearest, give this boy a chance. I believe he likes you quite a lot. And it's very apparent that you feel the same.* And then she was gone making Terra sigh.

After pulling Remonees chair out for her and sitting himself on the right hand side of Amiera, he noticed Terra looking at her covered plate, then shyly looking at Jesse, and back to her plate. It was very obvious that she was either uncertain of him or she was starting to like him.
Suddenly, he noticed a very faint shimmer next to her. His eyes widened, slightly but not enough for someone to notice. That was an angel shimmer, a concerning thought popped into his head *Why does a demon have an angel with them?* He wouldn't say anything until after the honeymoon and the celebrations have died down, Amiera would only say he worries too much. Sometimes it was true, but when your love is one of the main Fae royals you had to be suspicious of everyone and everything. Within moments another shimmer and Terra sighed. She was blushing and looked very confused.
He stood and raised his glass, "Friends and family! I would like to make a toast. To the most wonderful woman in the world, perhaps universe. Amiera, my love, my life. I don't know how to put into words how I feel for you. I feel too many wonderful and amazing things for me to explain. I don't think I will ever be able to, but I want you to know, for as long as I breathe and forever more, I will spend every second trying to show you. You have brought so many wonderful people together. Love is blossoming! It is a wonderful time in our lives! And the war is finally over, and it is all thanks to you! You are fantastic!" He reached for her hand and gave it a small kiss on the back, "To Amiera!" In unison the rest of the party raised their cups and agreed "To Amiera!"

Raiden removed the cover over his plate and began to eat. He needed something to take his mind off the fact that both his daughters seemed to be falling in love. He had tried to take his mind off the fact all evening. Not even flirting with the young fae women worked. All his hope seemed to be lost. That is until a certain demon law popped into his head. "Those boys don't know what they've gotten themselves into." he thought to himself as an evil smile crossed his face.
Toma sighed as he saw Raiden smile. He knew what his little brother was thinking. "This is going to give me such a head ache." he thought to himself rubbing his temple as he looked at his covered plate.

Torra noticed her father smiling, and from the expression on Tomas face it was clear what they were thinking, she knew why, and she didn't like it one bit. Sighing, she followed suit behind the rest of them, removing the cover of her dish. "Ramen and stuffed shells and green tea?! How on earth did you know this is what I love to eat?!" It looked wonderful, and smelled even better. There were even chopsticks on the bowl of ramen and a fork by the shells. This odd combination was always the meal her mother made when she felt down or was stressed out. The thought made her smile a sad smile.

Amiera smiled. "I only give the best for my guests." She said as she started her meal. She could sense something was off but would talk it over later. She needed to have a discussion with Raiden and Toma anyway. It would be easier now that her king had come back to her. His full blood power wold calm the room and she would be able to talk it over with them easily.
Remonee had recently been studying Demon law. Her court had only ever wed other Water and Winter Fae. Being the Queen and mixing blood would cause a stir in the Fae community. But she didn't care. She wanted to be with Toma. After tomorrows celebration of the wedding it would be straight down to business. Fae rarely took time for themselves when court matters had to be tended too. And Mikal had limited time before the Dark Fae Lords and Ladies stepped in and assigned him a queen like the summer Fae did. Remonee was the only exception to this because she had no Lords or Ladies. Just Fae. And she had lost her king when Fallen took his wings. She had time to find a new king. She just needed to fall in love.

Raiden finished his meal quickly and waited for the rest to do the same. When everyone had he tapped on his glass. " Ms. Amiera there is something that we must discuss."
Toma sighed. "Here it comes." he thought to himself.
"It seems that my girls have fallen for two of your fae. I have no problem with this. Except that they have yet to get permission from our clan leader." he said as he tried to hide his evil smile.

Amiera had expected this. She had been forced to study demon culture from Mikal's grandfather. It had interested her for some time so she had kept up her studies. She knew the girls would need permission, and Toma would as well if he intended to be with Remonee. She smiled politely and the elder demon. "Why of course Raiden. There are laws in Fae that must be followed and permissions that must be granted here as well. I believe now is the time that we should take care of this. Tariel, Toma, Please come with Raiden and I. The rest of you please enjoy the Festivities. We will not be long." Amiera said, standing up with the three men. She would take them to the last Elder of Fae. She had not seen the elder in many years. It would be difficult to get the answer she wanted, but she needed to speak with Raiden and Toma in private anyway, so this was as good a time as any.

The twins looked at each other, shocked that their father would do this now. Torra squeezed Mikals hand. "I was hoping he would wait until after all the happy stuff was settled. I'm sorry he ruined it."
Terra blushed and glanced at Jesse, "I guess he jumped to conclusions on how I feel." she swallowed "But maybe we could talk? I mean, you're nice and all but we haven't talked to each other like at all."

The brothers followed Amiera.
Raiden couldn't stop smiling. His plan had work out flawlessly. He looked towards his brother trying not to laugh. "Those boy wont know what hit them." he thought to himself.
Toma looked back at Raiden and sighed. "Why must my runt of a brother always make me do so much work." he thought to himself, lamenting the title of clan leader. Sometimes it really suck being the oldest in the family.

Amiera led them to a dark room that had a blue glow emanating from it. She Let them in and closed the door behind them. In the middle of the room was a large blue orb with mist swirling inside it. It was the first Summer queen Fae. She would be able to decide the rights of the three Fae involved in the issues. "I would like you all to meet my royal adviser. She was the First Summer Queen when Fae were created."

Tariel bowed when he approached the Summer Queen. Though they were doing serious business here, he felt extremely uncomfortable having such powerful demons near the most powerful and ancient of the Fae. Hardly anyone was allowed near her. He was only here because he was Amieras fiance and protector, along with being a full blooded summer fae.

The brothers bowed to the ancient Fae.
Toma lifted his head "It is an honor." he said with a smile.
Raiden stared at the orb. "Beautiful, absolutely beautiful." he thought gazing at the orb.

Amiera knelt before the orb, bowing her head. She knew the customs of a mixed blood was to be on bended knee. It showed utmost respect. "My Lady. You have the power to rule over all races and cultures. You helped create Earth. Please. Hear out these Demon Lords and grant your judgement." Amiera asked.
The orb swirls and glowed green as a wispy voice, like a soft flute, echoed in their minds. "Speak, Demons, and a Final Judgement shall be passed."

The brothers looked at one another and nodded. Toma stepped forward facing the orb.
"I would like your permission for three of your fae to join my clan." his eyes darkened. "And your forgiveness if any of them fail when they are tested to see if they are worthy to do so." he said thinking back to when his father had taught him the demonic laws. It was a horrible experience but his father made a good point. The laws were made by Nyx herself and the last thing he wanted to do was piss off a demon goddess.

Another Fae Wishes to wed a Demon? This has not happened for a few thousad years.
There was a pause as the queen thought. The colors swirled to pink, green, and black before returning to blue. The voice spoke again.
I have spoken with the other Elders. For the sake of the balance, seeing as two of the Fae involved are royals, and one is a noble, The tests must not be life threatening. We Elders will remove the power cap on the three Fae selected. Amiera knows the safest place to hold the tests. My Judgement has passed.
The orb went dark as Amiera stood and faced the demons and her fiance. "Well that was simpler then I thought." She said softly. "Queen Katia usually isn't so willing to approve. Count yourselves lucky.
