  [Sorry for the wait ><;; I was busy doing ARM stuff... and I'll make Hikari's template now :3 Sorry for not coming back sooner the other night too, parents and real life are a bother .__.;;]
Noaah was in a trance. Vegna wasn't with her...? She... hadn't heard from him since the Dive Shop? They'd seemed to be reconciliated when they'd both gone to bed...? Where had he gone? His eyes were misted over in fear and anxiety as he looked at the ground. The darkness of the night seemed to grow thicker, blacker, more enclosing around him, trapping him, asphyxiating him. He couldn't breathe, no matter how hard he tried, as his hands reached up to his chest, his breathing hardening.
He left me... He left me... He left me...
THEY ALL LEFT ME
| "Presenting the first Male Reyvateil, Beta-Type Noaah!"
Crowds, crowds and larger crowds, crowds of Teru and Reyvateil and Humans. Shouting, loud shouting, and children crying in the hustle and bustle of yelling voices as things were thrown up onto the stage, heavy things and sharp things.
"FREAK!"
"ABOMINATION!"
"THE ADMINISTRATOR WILL ERASE YOU!"
"STOP DEFILING OUR WORLD!"
"WE DON'T NEED ANOTHER MIR!" |
"I REFUSE TO BE LEFT ALONE!!!"
His own voice screamed, piercing through the loud memory as he held himself tightly, arms wrapped tightly around his body as tears welled in his eyes, which were blank with a deep, evergrowing nightmare of reminiscence. What was this memory? Why did it seem so real...? It was impossible! He'd just been created... Unless... They lied to him? No, the C.G.P. would never do that.
Noaah was just... so terribly lonely and confused. "No... No... Vegna... I need Vegna!!" he yelled out, pushing past Ishira, running. He just ran, ran as fast as he could, until his breathing was laboured, his heart pounding inside of his chest violently. A few minutes passed, and he was alone once more, the cold wind biting at his cheeks as he leaned against a wall, trying to calm himself down, until he finally couldn't take it. Noaah's cheeks wore the flows of tears as he slid down the wall, to his knees, forehead against the building as he cried, holding his hands to his eyes. "Vegna... don't leave me... don't leave me... I... I don't want to be alone anymore... I don't want to be a monster... useless... rejected..."

Ishira
Ishira was almost knocked over by Noaah's retreat. Luckily Rhaplanca was there to anchor him, "Noaah!" he yelled as Rhaplanca began to drag him after Noaah. Ishira's grip on Rhaplanca's hand was broken from the slow pace Ishira produced, "I'm right behind you, keep going," he assured her.
Finally when Noaah came into view Ishira could give his legs a rest. They're both so fast... he thought as he leaned his back against the wall to catch his breath. He gave Rhaplanca and him plenty of space, figuring somehow Rhaplanca was better suited to console Noaah. Still, watching Rhaplanca embrace Noaah was more than he would have liked to see. He frowned and looked the other way as rain began to descend lightly at first, then heavy enough to drown out the voices of the two standing a few feet next to him.[No worries, Sean, we all know what it's like to deal with parents xd I only get to stalk this RP day and night because I don't have a job at the moment sad but I'm going to fix that. So eventually I won't be able to crank out so many posts.]

Miko stayed behind with Gannon, although they weren't too far behind her sister. "Call it what you'd like. Besides, with my sister here, I'm sure you'll have plenty of fun bickering. If not, there's always your lady-friend Melody," Miko said sarcastically. "You'd better not do anything dishonorable to Hikari if you intend on seeing that other girl. Same goes for Melody. I happen to find playboys to be quite a bother." She glared at him warningly. "I'm always on the side of the slighted girl." She became quiet when they reached the inn where Mana was waiting. "So, how are the sleeping arrangements?" She asked, stifling a yawn.[Oh my gosh, I didn't mean to make you work so hard when you've already been busy doing other stuff! xP Sorry, Sean! Thank you though, it's absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to use it. Unfortunately, Hikari is unconscious right now so I can't LOL... but soon!]

Gannon… 
Gannon kept quiet at the verbal assault on his character by the half Teru woman. What else could he do? It was all part of the package. No matter how much he wanted to deny the accusations, there was nothing he could really do. Instead, he mumbled something under his breath about Miko being jealous, making sure it was just loud enough for her to hear. "Well, looks like the room that Melody gave us is the only one left in the building. We got two choices here. Either we leave at first light, or we hide out here for a few days until things calm down. Either way, we'll be safe here."

She said nothing else about it, though she did hear his attempt to make her angry. She felt irritation p***k at her, though. Instead she ignored it and answered him. "Shouldn't that depend on how Hikari is feeling? Perhaps she is suffering from Tattoolist. If that's the case shouldn't we administer the diquility and then let her rest for awhile?"

The older twin leaned against the wall with her arms crossed. "I dunno, all I know is that it's gonna be pretty cramped quarters if you ask me. One room, two beds, four people, with one of them being male. Boy, this makes for an awkward situation, ne?" She smirked.

"What? Wanna share a bed with me, Mana?" Gannon chuckled a bit. "Dun worry. I'll take the floor. Besides, even if we do stay, it won't be that long. She'll be back to normal soon. Like I said before, it ain't Tattoolist." The Teru moved through the Inn, headed to the room that Melody had prepared earlier. He lowered her onto the bed and pulled a blanket over her."

Yawning, the half-Teru sat down on the other bed. "I can hardly keep my eyes open. I'm heading for the hills, all right? Good night." She slid under the covers and turned on her side, facing away from everyone, and before long one could tell that she'd fallen asleep.

She walked over to the side of the room, peering out the window. "So, you planning on staying up awhile?" She asked Gannon. "I might just head on over to the bar around here," she said. "Can I trust that you both will stay here to watch over Hikari this time?" She grinned mischievously.

Gannon…
"Yeah, sure. Ya go out n' have a good time, Kid. Don' worry. Ya can trust me with the two sleepin' beauties here." Gannon pulled off his armor and set it down quietly in the corner of the room next to his pack, before pulling out a thin blanket and spreading it out in the corner of the room behind the door. "But, I'll be up fer a while, so ya can take yer time." The Teru pulled off his gauntlets and greaves, setting them down next to his armor. Catching sight of a slight crack in one of his greaves, he frowned. He'd have to check out the armor shop to see if he could have it repaired or if he'd have to shell out for a new set. Putting that out of his mind, he lay down, using his pack as a pillow. "Well, night. Don' have too much fun, eh?"

The man stood among an array of carelessly thrown books in the library of the shrine. He didn't care if someone intruded on him, he could easily depose of them. This mess was not the previous research of Ishira and Rhaplanca from earlier, the maids had cleaned and reorganized the library long ago. This man had come in the middle of the night and created a mess of nearly every book being pulled of the shelf.
Now the man was eying the same book that Rhaplanca had found earlier. He casually ripped out every page that had to do with the Life Giver, folded them neatly and stashed them in his pocket before apathetically dropping it to the floor, "Next time I'll get there before you," he whispered as he walked out of the library and disappeared into the night.

“Okay, so, lemme get this straight. Either I stay and entertain you, or I leave and you entertain yourself with either my sister or the one we’re supposed to be protecting?” Mana did a face-palm. “Come on, don’t you ever quit? Fine, I’m staying, I’m staying.” She grimaced, but her expression turned thoughtful as she stared out the window. “Hmm…” She got lost in her own world for awhile, wondering about what Hikari had said about a Hymn and not wanting to sing it. “Well, I suppose I’d better head to bed.” She doubted that Gannon would really do anything while she and the other girls were sleeping. “So, there a particular reason you want me here?” She asked. She could tell that Gannon was up to something. She could also tell that most of his debauchery was just an act. Mana also had to admit, the constant bickering with him that she did was an act as well. Part of her could tell that he was a decent guy, not that she’d openly admit it though. She had too much fun on the surface, being at odds with him and engaging him in a battle of wills and wits. It was easier for Mana to deal with people that way.
That thought aside, Mana took her boots and her overcoat off. Then she proceeded to head into the bed where her sister lay. “Oh, hey, Gannon. If I catch you by either of our beds I’ll pop one in yer a**, got that?” She grinned mischievously. “Don’t think I won’t.” She lay back next to her little sister and started dozing off.

Gannon's only reply to Mana's threat was a loud snore. Outwardly, it really did seem as if he had fallen asleep. However, like always, he was plotting his next move. Once he was sure that the girls were all asleep, he'd head over to the shrine and have a late night chat with his old acquaintance. The Teru had a feeling that Hikari might try and ditch them to run off with that other Reyvateil. There wasn't anything really wrong with that, except that they might turn her right over to the C.P.G. That was something he couldn't allow.

Mana~
"Meh, stupid jerk... I was just gettin' comfortable and then he starts snoring..." She sat up, glancing around the room just to make sure everything was in order one more time before lying back. First, Gannon. She noted that he seemed to be sleeping, or at least he was being loud enough for her to assume he was sleeping. She stared over at Miko who was still facing away from her, breathing deeply. She glanced over at Hikari next to see her curled up into a ball, clutching the blanket to her chest almost like a child would cuddle a teddy bear. Mana suppressed a chuckle.
She lay back. Bummer... I was hoping to go out tonight for some drinks. Oh well. Maybe tomorrow. Mana yawned one more time and rolled over, facing away from her sister. After a few more minutes, a snore could be heard in the room. Mana shifted in her sleep, rolling onto her back and her hands and legs sprawled out every way, drooling into her pillow.

Seeing Noaah swallowed up by such loneliness reminded her of Rhemi. She spoke in hymmnos to him, "[Do not cry little one, you are not alone]," she wept with him as she held him tighter, her tears upon his back.
