Wolf glanced at Jagger, then turned his gaze to the newcomer. "Hm...? And what is your name...?" He blinked once. The layer of new dirt had taken away his youthful looks. Instead they had inserted the unwanted effects of being homeless. Thinking of this, Wolf wondered what an appearance he must make.

Jagger glanced at the new comer and felt a smile begin to play along the corners of her mouth. He was being cautious. So he was smart afterall. she thought to herself. "Tired of the bushes?" she asked with a laugh.

"Well," he started, brushing off leaves from his shoulders, "Actually I am tired of the bushes, I was starting to get a cramp." He shook his leg out and winced at the tight muscle. "So it seems that you two, you vampire and you werewolf, are getting along quite well, eh?" He tapped his chin. "And my name is Desik." He extended his hand to the vampire, hoping she was as tame as she looked from his leaf covered hiding place.

Wolf looked at the male. Desik... Hm... Where have I heard that before? He thought. Wolf blinked his thoughts away, returning to reality before he was able to slip away. This new character... He was interesting.

while he had his hand extended, he turned his head to the wolf. "I've never seen you around, brother. How are you on this fine night?" The Were looked weary so he thought he should engage him in conversation first, so as to break the ice.

Wolf looked at the male. "Not much. i came here to calm down... Though that's the one thing that isn't really happening, alot of other things have." He sighed. Hm... Seems so familiar... Wolf thought. Perhaps it's just because he's a fellow Lycan... Yeah... That makes sense...

Desik turned to him, and analyzed the man. A spark of memory hit him. "Haven't I met you before?" He cupped his chin. "Yeah, did we ever go on a hunt or something before? Naw, that couldn't be it. I would have remembered your smell."

Wolf nodded. "Hm... Maybe we met at a house or something... Maybe it was just a fleeting glance..." He shrugged. "Hm... Maybe it's just because we're both Lycans?" Wolf looked at Desik. "Well... I'm Wolf, if that helps anything."

"A test...? Well... What kind of test?" Wolf smiled crookedly. Well, it can't be bad... A Lycan wouldn't put another Lycan in danger... Most of the time, anyway. He thought of the many different people he had met, and the many that seemed sly. Reminds me of the thoughts that I never use.

"Well," Desik started, scratching his head and pulling a twig out. "I want to run an experiment for species relations. I want to make a group of four, vampire, werewolf, demon and a human, and try to figure out what would make them....work. I'm actually tired of watching my back all of the time, never knowing what could creep up on me at night, or during the day, for that matter."
He tapped his foot, his mind working. "I want them to 'converse' I guess, in a neutral environment and see what they could... come up with, in the way of species relation and maybe even peace." He looked at Wolf. "Would you be interested in participating?"

Wolf nodded. "Hm... Good idea. I guess I'm in... Though if this went wrong, it wouldn't be pretty." He paused, wondering if what he said was the smart thing to do. Wolf shrugged. "It's worth a try... Though you'd have to take into account the individual personalities of them. Some people don't even like others of their same race, depending on the type of person they are."

starynite50 Core shrugged her shoulders lightly . " Your loss , I guess , " she noted , leaning down ever so slowly towards the large deer underneath her foot . Extending her fangs , she bit deeply into it`s neck , taking in as much blood as she wanted . It was only an animal , she didn`t have to be careful .

Once Core was finished draining the rest of her deer , she stood erect , clasping on of the deer in her bloody hand . " We could sell these , " she suggested , " surely we could make some profit , don`t you think ? "
