::Remaining, for the most part, rather calm as the girl speaks, Deity keeps his head lowered. The most he can make of her comment on his eyes changing is that they changed colors; the only time they ever really change colors is when his sclerae turn black when going into devil form. His first inclination is to dismiss any other change as weird, but - considering the situation - this whole thing is weird. Fingernails dragging gently against the wooden table surface, his fingers curl in slightly into gentle fists, his left hand in effect holding his lover's fingers intertwined with his. His voice and expression remain the same, his head turned as he brings his eyes to her face once more.::
....Deity knows about the blood...smelled it earlier when he was showering. He knows he did....s-something, but...he can't recall...
::As the very thought crosses his mind, Jade can feel his hand closing shut a little more. By no means painfully so, but without the careful touch it had before, growing more firm. Continuing after a short intermission to take in a deep sigh, he looks away shortly into his sentence before returning his gaze to Jade's eyes, should they meet.::
He was in this town, down south to do some sketching...on his way out, he....saw something...it was...
::The Orinian's face cringes ever so slightly, his eyes squinting as he again looks away from Jade in thought. He's trying to remember, attempting to put into words what he's seeing in his head. As he speaks, a gentle shake of his head denotes his uncertainty in what he's saying.::
....i-it was bright...loud...and it got quiet. It was dark, then...then Deity w-woke up in bed with you...

Jade felt his fingers tightening more firmly around her hand as she listened, lifting her head slightly to watch his face. Her own expression was rather blank as she took in what he said, trying her best to help him figure out what happened. She was relieved with his reaction, but still, something was worrying at the back of her mind.
"Don't try too hard Love....let it come back on it's own.....for now....how about we just relax a little....?"
Though she wouldn't say it, she really was worried about what might have happened. She knew the scent of his blood well enough to know that what was one his clothing that night wasn't his. The young woman really didn't want to know what had happened now that she thought about it.

Heh....easier said than done...
::Another light chuckle escapes the boy's mouth in the form of a sharp exhalation, his eyes closing and his lips curving into a somber smile as his head turns away and drops once more. He himself isn't certain if he wishes to know exactly what happened. One moment he's strolling through town, and the next he's waking up, at home, covered in blood and having the least friendly nightmare he's had in quite a while. He knows Fierce wasn't involved, at least. However, what he doesn't know about the situation far outweighs what he does know.
Sighing quietly, Deity nudges his chair over to the left with his legs until his arm is touching Jade's shoulder. He leans over and brushes his lips softly against her right temple, his kiss lingering a few moments before he pulls away, his right hand coming to rest over her left. His thumb lovingly stroking the back of her wrist, the Mystic Orinian shifts into a bit of a slouching posture and slides his hips away from Jade, leaning his head down to rest against her right shoulder. He closes his eyes slowly with a soft, dismal sigh, not wanting to say anything further on the subject. What Deity's feeling, his lover can no doubt feel without the need to hear it from his mouth. He's afraid.::
