Jade watched him carefully as he moved, almost wanting to tell him to lay back down. But then she felt his arms wrap around her waist as he laid himself down with her lap as a pillow, and curled up close to her. A soft smile came across her face as she rest her left hand on hsi right shoulder, and gently stroked his crimson hair with her left hand. Her tail lay limp and still behind her as she tried her best to comfort him.
There was more to tell him; about what he had said...the change in his eyes, the fact he was covered with blood splatter. She knew she needed to tell him eventually....but this moment wasn't for that. For now, the young Saiya-jin woman just wanted to comfort the man she loved without making his burden worse.
"Shhh......it's alright Dearheart...you're safe here....."
