Kalan sighed. Her shirt was definitely ruined. Blood dripped onto the concrete sidewalk, forming a rather small puddle by her black boot. She held her right arm away from her body, trying not to get the drips on her torso. The slight breeze making its way around her was cooling it rapidly, but the night was not warm and the wetness at her arm still seemed hotter than the surrounding area. She winced, covering the thin line just below her shoulder.

"Oh come on. This just isn't fair. I take one walk one, and foliage attacks." Her disgruntled words lifted the mood a little but not entirely. She had been hurt by the wolf's words to her, and they wouldn't simply disappear. "I've had enough. I should just go back to Ireland and let the stupid American authorities handle their own damn problems!" She laughed a little and whisked back a lock of pale hair that had fallen into her face. Yelling did help a little. Her voice like a melody rang out, "No! I will stay! And I will find you Aiden!" She laughed again, realizing how childish she was. She needed to use her powers instead of shunning them. They weren't a burden. They were a gift. A gift she should use to fight.

The heavy barrier like a black rain that she had set over herself was lifted. And like a child peering from under the blankets, her crystal eyes could see everything again. The night seemed brighter, and everything was vivid. Suddenly the sounds and scents returned to her. The scent of fresh blood flowed from her arm, making her want to gag. But it was followed by something else. Creatures. Close by, at the sound. "Well.. Isn't that odd?" She snatched her satchel and clipped it onto her waist. One of noble blood such as herself couldn't possibly sit out during a rumble. She swung herself over the bench and darted through the trees, staying low to the ground.

*I HATE you Kenile. I don't want to come back!!!.* She yelled at him. She tried to struggle but he just kept her pinned to the ground. *LET ME GO!!!!!!* She screamed. When she did a powerful energy burst through her and Kenile was tossed away from her. Shade and Hazel were pushed away from their targets as well. Kara stood up long enough to see them back away before she fainted.

Kile was shocked. He saw the other animals leave then turned back to Kara. He saw her fall over. "KARA!?" He cried then ran over to her.

*Come on, We'll come back for her later" Kenile told the others before he ran off.

Kile looked at Sarah. "Can you get a read on her?" He asked her. Sarah closed her eyes. "She's just tired from using too much power." Sarah replied. She looked at Wolf. "Hey Wolf do you like Kara or something?" She asked him.

Kile nodded. "We'll go to Kara's Alleyway in the city..... everyone follow me." He said. He then grabbed Kara and put her on his back.

Kalan, an expert hiker and tracker, slide silently through the forested areas to find the creatures. At the back of her mind she could still feel a constant pressure, eyes trained on her. It bothered her to ignore it as it was a warning, but feeling it and knowing there was someone watching her bothered her more. So she pushed it from her thoughts. Trivial details.

She heard voiced and could smell the scent of dogs. Cold grass and muddy paw prints covered the ground. She knelt down to look at one of the large prints just as movement caught her attention. Something in the shadows. "Strange.." She dismissed it quietly and listened to them kneeling at the ready. It seemed one was already out cold and the others were concerned. Kalan could see the heat radiating from the girl's body with her clearer than normal eyes. It seemed odd. A vampire was also in the clearing ahead. The two species normally didn't get along. Kalan focused a little, and lifted the veil of energy from her eyes. Suddenly she could see. There were all different kinds of them present. Some were in human guises, but Kalan's second sight could see through anything.

James looked around the park. The shadows held a number of beings, but his skin iched and felt like it'd crawl off. Wolves spent too much time here for him to be happy in anyway. "If you are going to drag me along with you because you dont trust me at least tell me why I will have to deal with such a wolf invested part of town." His voice made it very clear he was not happy and very uncomfortable.

This was not a part of town he tended to go there at all. Too many chance of ambush or attack by more than a couple lycans. He could also feel and smell their kind all over everything. It didnt matter if any were there or not, simply the fact that enough traveled through often enough that it was throughing his abilities off.
