Kara sighed. Once she sat down Kile began to introduce everyone.
"Ok so you all know that Core is a Vampire, Kara is an Animalian." Kile told the group. He got up and walked over to Josh. "This is Josh and he is a mix between Incubus and Fireslinger." He told Core and Kara. He walked over to one of the girls. "This is Cassie. She is the daughter of a hunter who is a guardian." He walked to another girl. "This is Sarah and she is a Psychic Vampire." He walked to the last girl. "And this is Jamie, she is a Lycan and the daughter of an exile." Kile said. All of them nodded at Kara and Core. Sarah got up and went over to Kara. "Hey Kara long time no see. I have a present for you but i forgot it at home." She told Kara.
Kara was shocked. She didn't know everyone was like this and still remained friends. "Oh its ok Sarah. I didn't even want anything but someone decided to find out when my birthday was behind my back" Kara said she then glared at Kile. Kile just laughed.

Core watched everyone as Kile pointed them out . She stiffened a bit when it came to a girl name Jamie , a Lycan , but she seemed harmless enough . There was one other vampire in the group , and she came over and talked to Kara and Kile for a while . When they were done , Core asked " what`s your century ? " Sarah , the vampire , looked at her blankly , and continued to do so when she responded , not bother to recompose her expression . " I`m sorry ... what ? " she asked Core . " What`s your century ? " repeated Core . She then proceeded to stand up and bow towards her , " I`m a 1700 , " said Core , meaning she was born and turned in the 18th century . " Ooh , " stumbled Sarah , " I guess , I`m a this century , heh .... I was turned only a few years ago .. " Cores smiled slightly , showing her fangs , " I new born . I see . " She then proceeded to do a large bow to everyone else in the group . " It`s a pleasure to meet you all , " Core said sincerely .

Kile smiled as Sarah and Core were talking. He then noticed that Kara was stretching alot. "Hey Kara you feeling ok?" He asked her.
"Yeah. I guess i just havn't stretched in awhile." She told Kile. She then winced when he back got a shot of pain.
Kile studied Kara. "You sure?" He asked.

Core heard Kara wince and turned back to look at her sharply , then was at her side with on hand on her back with inhuman speed . She was remember something that Kenile had said about Animalians " Kara ? How old are you today ? " Core asked , her brows coming together with worry , ruining her vampire angelic face .

"What does her age have to do with anything?" Kile asked Core. He turned back to Kara when she winced again.
Kara's mind was a bit foggy. "Um... i think i'm sixteen today.... though i can't remember since my mind is a little foggy....." Kara told Core.

Wolf darted into the park, hoping to leave something behind although he knew he couldn't. Then, seeing a group, he jumped into a tree with silence. Wolf seemed to glide over the oh-so-familiar land. He sniffed the air once. Vampires. Twice. Alot of vampires. Three times. A Lycan and a Hunter. What are they doing calm in these times? I don't smell any blood... Wolf blinked, focusing his eyes on the group as he stayed in his tree, silent and unseen in the shadows.

" Kara , I think you need to shift , " said Core , remember that last time Kara shifted she was still a cub . She tucked a long piece of golden hair behind her ear , and helped Kara come off the rock . She saw a shadow again , two actually , one in the bushes , and one in the trees , but ignored them completely . Kara started breathing heavily , ready to change into her animal form .

Kara nodded. She closed her eyes and focused. She went to her animal form. Once in her animal form she stretched and then opened her eyes. She was a grown lion now. She smiled a lion smile. She sniffed the air and smelt a lycan behind a tree. She moved fast, and appeared behind the lycan. *Hi there, why don't you come out?* She said to the lycan in animal talk knowing very well that he could understand her.
Kile smiled when he saw that Kara was finally a grown lion. When she disappeared he got confused.

Core saw everyone`s confused expressions . They were obviously not as observant as she and Kara are . She lifted her double sided sword off her back , pointing towards where Kara had disappeared , the same place where the scent of Lycan was coming from . The girl named Jamie backed away slightly from the sight of silver , knowing it`s deadly powers against Werewolves . She had to think up of a defensive plan quick , and most of these immortals weren`t much help . " Everyone , " Core whispered hastily , " get into a circle behind me . Josh , are you more prominent hot or cold ? " " Hot , why ? " he responded . " If it gets bad , " answered Core , " then you may need to use your demon skills to protect the others . " Core ran her gaze along their small group . Sadly , Sarah won`t be much help being so young , she probably can`t even mind block yet , much less have telekinesis . She then saw the one human . The hunter`s child . " Cassie , do you have any weapons on you ? " asked Core , trying to make sure that the Lycan couldn`t hear them , " and Jamie , if something goes wrong , you may have to shift , okay ? "

Wolf watched the group, then in a split-second had one of his revolvers to the underside of a lion's head. "Jesus Christ, don't surprise me like that!" He then jumped to it's side, revolver at his own side, the light spilling onto him. The young Lycan was wearing a dirty leather jacket with alot more pockets then it looked and hid a strange lump on his back that couldn't be natural. A worn black t-shirt was under it, and ragged jeans under. Long, greasy, unkept dark brown hair swept across his face. He heard faint talking. A normal Lycan would've simply heard whispers, but Wolf had been on the streets for too long for normal Lycan senses. His eyes narrowed. "Is this a trap?" He said coldly, turning to the lion again.

Kara asked again. When the lycan didn't resond she got confused. Maybe he didn't like Tainted. *Hey, Mr Wolfy. Whats the matter?* She asked in animal speak.
Kile laughed typical Kara. "Hey Sarah what do you sense?" He asked her. "Well. If i'm not mistaken he's a lycan. He is kinda confused as to why Vampires and Lycans are getting along right here. I believe he is a ranger. Plus he doesn't like the fact that i'm getting a read off him." Sarah told Kile. She looked over at Core. "I know how to do alot even though i'm new, my master taught me before he left." She said to her. Josh jumped up onto the tree next to him. "I'm ready." He told Core. Cassie just nodded and got out two identical silver knives. "These are blessed silver they can hurt alot of things." She told Core. Jamie just sighed and nodded.
*Nope we just smelled you and was surprised that a lycan was spying on us* Kara told him. *You wanna come out before the others come in to get us?* She asked.

Wolf was about to respond when he felt a faint buzz in his head. What...? Oh yeah. EAT THIS, MINDREADER! He quickly thought of metal sliding on metal, as loud as his mind would allow. Then Wolf thought of, correction projected images of gunfire amongst friends of his own, then her own getting killed by slicing katanas. Then suddenly his face, laughing, his eyes a dark blue. Wolf blinked out of it, then responded. "Hm. I minuswell..." He beckoned to the group. "Lead the way."

Kara looked at the lycan sideways. She was trying to see what he was just doing. She then heard Sarah take in a sharp breath. Kara sighed. *Sarah we're coming out. Tell everyone to backdown.* She thought to Sarah. She then led the wolfboy out of the bushes.
Sarah was pissed. She hated it when people did that. "Guys Kara's bringing the lycan out so back off,ok?" She said to the others. Jamie moved forward toward the lycan when Kara brought him out. "Hi, whats your rank?" She asked nicely.

Core listened intently , hearing everything as if it was right next to her . He was defensive , and ashamed at being caught . She heard Kara speak and frowned a little . She knew a lot of languages , but animal was not one of them . Although she knew that if the man was dangerous Kara would be safer as a lion than as a human . She waited patiently as those around her got into a defensive position .
Without warning , the other vampire fell to her knees , holding back an agonizing scream . Core was over her in a second , holding her in her arms . " Block him out , " she whispered , as Kile came over to look at them , a worried expression on his face . " You don`t have to hear him , listen to me . Listen to my thoughts . " Core thought of her master and the love she felt for him , and in trying to help Sarah , a small bloody tear rolled down her cheek , remembering him was such sweet sorrow . Sarah spoke again , and she let her up , everyone becoming more relaxed . Core put her sword back in it`s place , and stood up facing the Lycan .

Wolf raised an eyebrow. "Rank? Well that's not an everyday question... But I'm a Ranger." He still had the revolver in one hand, and he wasn't going to put it away any time soon. Wolf's eyes were suddenly deeply saddened at the blood tear, but he blinked and it was gone. Now is not the time for melancholy. My past shall not interfere with my past. And that mind-reader better go in my mind again. There are things better left told, or seen in this case, to only trusted minds. He looked at the apparent leader of the group. "Quite the bundle you have here. The only reason I didn't open fire was because you greatly outnumbered me and there was a fellow Lycan." Wolf slightly chuckled in a hollow tone.
