She really didn't like games greatly depend on luck, it was her third time and she waste a coin in the second spin. Ironically, Gretel was thinking getting a luck charm by silly method like finding a four-leaf clover. Meanwhile, she heard the one next to her cheered for their win. So far, no one got the Jackpot. She couldn't think of the possibility they pre-programed all the machines. A glance over the row, people's faces were written with anguish, frustration and despair. Everyone else was doing it, why shouldn't she? Lissa picked an open machine and inserted a precious coin into the slot, watching the slots begin to roll. She had to start somewhere if she was going to lift that massive debt from her shoulders.
The numbers clicked into place, one by one, and three sparkling coins clinked into the tray at the bottom. "Huh. Easy enough," Lissa remarked, grabbing her prize.
