Corey, bruised and injured from the fight, had to tap out. She just wasn't up to doing more of it, but she had noticed, in that moment, that it left her alone. It seemed that, when you didn't bother it, it didn't bother you.
It had given her an idea.
At the time, the woman disappeared. She vanished from the fight and those who fought it, and was gone for a while. When she did return, she was carrying a large duffle bag over her shoulder, though it seemed a struggle for her to hold.
She dropped it behind an overturned desk, and began to drag over several others, leaving behind bloody hand prints and some pained noises. Not too long after this, she had made a make-shift time out area. A weak little blockade from the snake-like roots that threatened the main area.
"Get behind this!" She called, to those who seemed to exhausted to continue the fight. "Come on, I have bandages, and we have a little bit of time." She gave the creature a nervous side-eye. "Maybe."

As Kammy shouted Cecil watched her dart behind him and he reached back to rest a hand on her shoulder to make sure she was okay.
"It's what Kammy likes to call me." He explained to Justin.
"You okay?" He glanced back at Kammy again. "I thought mages were supposed to stay back and fight from a distance." He understood a little okay. If anything he absorb a little of the things Kammy kept going on about.

Justin put a pout on his face. "Kammy just likes to call me sour." he said in an almost quiet voice to Cecil, giving the aforementioned girl some fake puppy dog eyes.
And then there was Ror, going in with a shovel to bash at the strange beast. Looking pretty angry about it. "Calm down, breathe man." he barked, the sound of the shotguns finally ebbing down and everything began to ring. What set him off, he also had to wonder.
Bringing up the shotgun once more Cecil took aim and fired but the recoil had done a number on his shoulder. He withstood it well enough but his body had already been in rough shape.
"I think I need to take a moment." He told the others, tilting his head back when he heard Corey. She had impeccable timing.
Edging back from the battle Cecil slowly made his way toward the makeshift station only pausing when he saw Liam slumped on the ground. With a soft smile he knelt down and offered the exhausted man a hand. "Come on, let's get you somewhere safe to have a breather. I think we both need it."
Rorrow yelped at the shotgun...wait...WHERE DID THOSE COME FROM?!? He paled before making his way over to Justin watching as Cecil walked away...hearing Corey he smiled. She was, as usual, looking out for them all. Sighing he nodded to Justin..
"Sorry...pictured it as my brother's pet...damn thing always like playing a prank by hiding in my shoes and hissing right as i opened the closet....
He wasn't going to mention those shoes were heels...

With a loud crack, branches, hundreds, thousands of branches begin to shoot out, razor sharp. They coalesce together at the base, spreading high, high, up, creating a strange, makeshift tree.
What is happening?

SECRET BOSS SUMMON: YGGDRASIL TREE FINAL FORM (UNTIL OCT 5th 11:59 PM PST)
[ MOB NAME] YGGDRASIL TREE (FINAL FORM MOB HP: ???/??? HP Mob Autodamage: -5 HP! Mob Special Ability: - This mob is PASSIVE. This is the SECOND form of the boss, upon passing 600 total damage. It will not harm players unless it is being harmed. You must finish zone 6's ORP prompt before fighting this boss. The mob is calculated by how much damage you have done to it as a group. Here, are the bonuses for mob defeat conditions. You may apply it as soon as your team clears that condition . Each one is applied only ONCE. Once this boss is defeated, as this is its final form, all players from the faction who FINISH THE GM PRP BY OCT 5th @11:59 PM PST will be eligible for this end prize.

- Your character now regardless of what else happens has the option of being an upgraded disposable Hunter. It means while they don't have full Hunter upgrade status (but can if you win the slot for them down the line!), you can indeed RP them in Deus as a disposable Hunter. You can have and rp them around as long as you like, but they will always have "trainee" Hunter stats until you upgrade them via a shop official slot. They cannot accumulate RP points in a disposable Hunter state or gain any Runics/extra bonuses (but potentially make good plot fodder for other characters), and you are allowed to kill them off at any time if you wish. This is only applicable for characters who adhere to the Hunter signup guidelines of being between ages 16 - 30 (a small lenience is added here: the age limit is now 45 for this event ONLY). A disposable Hunter is one of the POTENTIAL end game options for your character if they survive until the end! An upgraded disposable Hunter is different from the option of the regular one at the end in that they live on the main Island base (while the ones at the end are considered to live off base IN VICTORIA, CANADA- visiting or helping with the main island time to time!)
"Close enough." He was still shouting just a little at her, nose wrinkled to adjust where the glasses sat on his nose, frown lingering against his mouth. He shot a look up to the monster again and thought, perhaps, it looked like it was flagging -- or no, it was evolving. AGAIN.
He focused back down on his gun, and now at least he could see well enough to recognize it wasn't going to fire again anytime soon -- so he got back behind Corey's blockade, gesturing Caroline with him after a pregnant pause.

he had he's knees up, arms resting across them, and his attention had stayed on the fight, at least until he head Corey yelling for them. Thankfully, before he could attempt getting up on his own, a hand was stretched out to him. "Oh. Yeah, thanks." He took the hand, well aware that being drawn up like this would likely pull on things he didn't want being pulled, but if it got him behind the make shift barricade, he'd endure.
Justin was at least content to see that Ror had got his chill pill. "We don't really know, and its not actively attacking us, only in self defense, but make sure you keep a level head out there, its dangerous, alright?" he spoke earnestly, worried about the lad for some reason.
Again, it began to shift, new pieces rising up and out of the top where the serpent was. "Dammiit Cecil, you made it harder again." he swore under his breath, cursing the tall man. "It doesn't look any nicer, be careful out there Ror, im falling back to regroup." he got his shotgun ready to send out a shot, and backtracked to the safety of the wall. "Get going!"

Gravely deep voice of dissaproval is present.
Corey had come up with the best thing ever. Kammy had been running on the special status called "adrenaline rush.", but now she had backed away exhaustion was setting in, and she needed to go lie down for a bit.
Yeah, I'm fine." She puffed, ignoring the few gashes she had on her arms and back from the snakes thorns. "And yeah, but I gotta be close to cast my spells, they don't have long range, need to work on that."
And then Justin was complain about her nickname. So he wanted to be in a class then huh. She glanced at his gun. "Justin you can be a sour gunner, how about that?"
When Cecil left the battlefield she did to, running to the little safe zone then collapsing on the ground. "Requesting heals plz." she mumbled to Rorrow, halfway asleep/unconscious.

The moment Liam too his hand Cecil did his best to help get him to his feet. It seemed like he was in pain and he stayed close in case he needed someone to lean on. "You alright?"
He heard the mutters and shouts behind him and turned to find the creature had once again grown in size. Had...had he really done that? "I...I didn't mean..." He was at a loss. "I was just trying to help I'm sorry!"
A little dejected he made his way to the barricade with Liam in tow.
