"Oh. Good." he got himself up to sitting and looked around. He wanted to go back to bed, badly. "I vote we never do that again."
"Looks like the dog could use some healing too..." he had helped guard him, might as well shove the healer at him too. Thanks dog.. Andrew still isn't going to like you on principle. The flame demon looked around searching for his friends in the aftermath. Might as well stumble that direction in case more shadowlings popped out.
"I agree. Let's call it unanimous." Siddie pushed herself tiredly to her feet and just swayed there for a moment, then looked to the canine boil sitting next to Andrew, looking equally as tired. Her job wasn't done yet.
She needed to find Sammy, too; she'd lost track of her ghoulfriend in all the chaos. She was sure Sammy would be okay. The zombie was one of the toughest creeple she knew. That didn't stop Siddie from worrying, though.
Siddie moved over to tap the canine boil gently on the shoulder with her keysword. It didn't feel like it had helped much, and she pouted a little. But every little bit helped. "Here, I hope you feel a little better," she said.

Steffani had been resting quietly while the others took their comfort in one another, perking only when she heard Andrew and Siddie speak of their ordeal. Se looked their way, leaning on her now fondly held keyblade. "Are we so sure its over, though?" She inquired, a little skeptical. "Maybe its just our doing it over and over, but that almost seemed easy." Sure, they'd nearly died, but after four bouts, the patchwork ghoul was wary of trusting their reprieve.

When things seemed to settle down, Petro still refused to let his guard down. He still stood close to Lattice, saying nothing but letting his fingers brush against hers, seeking perhaps to entwine with each other.

What if more of those creatures came back? Junko checked her snack tin. She still had four spookies left. Just four. Um...well..
Who looked like they needed it? Junko looked from student to student, eventually choosing her four. The horse boil who looked ready to pass out for awhile definitely needed one. "Here, take this." She offered him a spookie, giving his little uh...boilfriend? a smile and a pat on the head before she continued on. This next student she didn't know either, but she kind of just assumed he was a kitsune with all those tails.

"Here, rest up and have a spookie." Junko waited for him to take it before she moved on again.
"Hi, Petro! Hi Lattice! I haven't seen you in foreeeeever." The ghoul grinned, offering him a spookie as well. "I hope the both of you are well! Lattice, you look lovely!" She'd certainly changed since Junko had seen her!
Finally Siddie was given a spookie. "They're not my best batch, I was a little distracted when I made them. If our rooms aren't wrecked after this why don't we have a tea party later?"

Lattice couldn't exactly see Gabriel's expression or mouthed words but she could sense his gratitude and thus she gave him a smile in turn. She even gave Efflo an encouraging smile as he ran off into danger once more. For the most part the ghoul mostly sat back and was watching Petro making sure he didn't suddenly collapse in battle. He was easiest for her to track.
When Petro came back to her side and sought out her hand she gladly let him take her hand and intertwined fingers with him with a small quiet smile. Lattice felt safe with the boil around, safer than she had in a while.
Her head tilted toward Junko as she recognized the shape and voice. Junko had saved her once. The Futakuchi-onna received a rather warm smile from the Engraver, "Junko. You sound well. I am glad. A..Ah thank you. You look lovely as well..."
Figuratively speaking. Lattice could only make out Junko's shape and it seemed healthy.

Sammy knew when she was pushing her limits, Siddie had mentioned not being able to use the healing forever and so she had deliberately stepped back in fighting. She knew what a danger it was to herself, and if it was draining Siddie's fear to heal her, well she was a danger to them both then.
What she didn't expect was the Keyblade showing up, the twisted bone weapon felt so... right, in her hand. She spent a small chunk of the fight just testing it on smaller monsters left overs from the larger one showing up. She hadn't done much with it but she had found carrying it around in a reverse grip felt rather nice.
"Hey, Siddie? Siiiidddddiieeeee?"

"They're still tasty, I'm sure," Siddie answered Junko with a smile. She nibbled on the cookie her friend presented to her. "Yep, I know they would be. A tea party sounds great. Even if things have been wrecked, we can do that after we've cleaned up, as a kind of reward, right?"
She gave Steffani a tired smile. "I'm hoping it's over. If not, we'll keep going, but more haven't turned up yet, right?" Optimism. They could do this. Right? Right.
Sammy's voice made her perk up and turn around, looking for her ghoulfriend. She hurried over and gave the zombie ghoul a one-armed hug - she was hanging onto her key-sword for now, just in case something else did turn up. "Sammy! Are you okay? Do you need me to heal you some more?"

"Planning more tea parties you two?" The ghoul walked over wrapping an arm around Siddie kissing her forehead before moving over to offer Junko a one armed hug as well. "And Junko already has the spookies? I'll dress up for that."
She looked back at Siddie shrugging a bit, "Only if you have the fear to do it? I don't want you draining yourself on my behalf just because it's me. Worry about everyone else who might be in worse shape."

Jove huffed, his arms now pinned to his sides by a sleepy hellhound. How did this happen? Since when had Demi been as snuggly as his brother? Jove wanted nothing more than to curl up himself, but not while Demi was flopped against him, hugging him like a pillow.
He looked around, for the first time noticing more familiar faces. Junko with spookies. And Sammy was also here, talking to a ghoul he didn't know. Jove tried to bark to get their attention, but it came out more like a strangled whine. He kinda wanted spookies and company too.

The imp was getting tired of this boil. TG was doing just fine trying to get to first base and this guy had to block his advances because he was jealous!
"So?! I still healed her. I didn't hurt her. I didn't see you helping." He looked back at Maple. "Tell him."
Unanimous. Yeah that was defiantly the word, he figured all the other students would probably agree. Andrew managed to pull himself to his feet, still carrying around that flaming keyblade.
Steffani received a snort and a look of pure discontentment. "Easy? Jack you. just Jack you." he had nearly died. Easy was not a word he would use.
He spotted maple... with a koala an AJ attached to her and walked over to them. Everything still hurt so he walked a little stiffly. Can they go home yet? "AJ what are you doing to Maple? She is not a tree, and she's tiny." Never mind that she was about his own height. "and not everyone liked being glomped on let the poor ghoul go. And no that is not an invitation to touch me."
"Oh and hi Maple. Your magic wasn't useless." he gave her a backwards compliment.
Andrew glanced around and then down. "Oh high TG. Didn't see you there." yes he was making fun of your height TG. "What's this about healing?"
