Soo, I was fumbling around the Gaurdian Cat information and noticed a few things that could use a few more clarifying answers~ Quote: Reborn guardian cats with no memories of their past, unlocking slowly your old memories while forming new ones. Sooo~ from my understanding Gaurdian cats reborn or not have no current way of getting their memories back... (doesn't matter which memory - and I could be wrong here) but I've been playing Snowball (for lack of a better example) as not remembering anything with the time he spent with Polaris and Niflhel. For example he was the one to break them up in the past - however, he doesn't remember it only Polaris and Niflhel can . . . Was I wrong in this type of stuff he can remember and it's just the technology part they can't remember or is it ALL of their memories? Because of the potential OP nature of recovering memories from Mau, Guardian Cats are still locked from memories while on their homeworld. Generally a powered character can only recover their past life memories while on their homeworld, and since every Guardian Cat is originally from Mau it is difficult for them to recover memories since Mau is not accessible. A Guardian Cat is limited greatly in terms of what they can remember, however they can remember some things! As a general rule though, cats can only get memories back with permission from the mule, and even then it cannot be canon related and has to be memories of a personal nature. Though they cannot visit Mau, any character that has a close bond with another character in a past life has the potential to recover past life memories related to that character while on that character's homeworld. To recover memories on someone else's homeworld you need approval and will have to send in a PM to the mule detailing both who the character is with/where they are and what memories you want to have them recall.Quote: With the aid from two or more guardian cats you may dampen a field of energy so that many senshi may gather in relative safety. This is traditionally only done with the aid of Astraea but could potentially be managed in small areas with enough cooperation. - So knowing that Astraea's basically out of play I know that part is no longer true, however, I know a few of us cat owners have played with one cat dampening energies mostly in an emergency fashion for two characters are there new limits/rules on this? It would be fairly draining for a cat, but it is possible for a single cat to dampen energies. The limit is roughly two people per cat when in small numbers, but when more cats gather they can dampen more energies. Generally they should be able to dampen for a few hours or so before getting too exhausted.Quote: 'Human' form has an aura that rest somewhere between that of a 3rd level character and a 4th level character. As such switching to this form, unless in a safe haven, should only be used in dire situations as it is certain to draw attention. - Is there a way for cats to dampen their Human Aura's considering the strength of the Aura? Other cats obviously is one answer but what if a cat was alone and needed their human form in a tight spot? Could they create an item or something that would allow them to use it for a short time to mask the Aura to something more 'manageable'. Similar to something that they can do for the forehead laser? This is possible, for small periods of time. It would require a lot of energy to hide a guardian cat's energy signature while in this form, so the device probably wouldn't be able to suppress an aura for longer than three hours before recharging, but it would be possible to develop something to temporarily dampen it!

Would it be possible to transform a previously mundane piece of a powered character's uniform into their personal item (either through cat tinkering, magical planetary empowering or however that character's story has it happen).
For example, Sailor KrispyKreme has fluffy earmuffs as part of her uniform. Her Mauvian companion, Biscuitbottom, tinkers with it one day and makes it so that now it creates a visor which labels all of the auras and relative locations of powered characters she has previously met and is close enough to sense. Ignoring whether or not it is overpowered, would such a thing be okay?
This is possible! A personal item can either be something new or something already on their person (upgraded by a cat or which receives a magical boost of some nature while on the homeworld/wonder).

Does a code piece have an aura? And if so what would it feel like in terms power stages?
The Code Piece does have an aura, but it's not always something that’s' traceable. You wouldn't feel it unless you were very close to it, or if the Code Piece was calling to you because it wanted you to find it. It wouldn't really have an aura comparable to power stages; it would have its own unique aura that felt more like a magical ripple. The Code Piece can emit an aura that varies in 'strength', depending on how far you are from it or how badly it wants to be found.

Can signet messages reach corrupted Knights if sent to their Knight name? (So, for instance, would Ashanite receive a letter addressed to "Ploutonion"?)
No; the signet ring can only send messages to the person as they were addressed. The message can only be sent to the person when they are in the form that is addressed. Even though Ashanite is Ploutonion, the signet message would not reach him because the message would be delivered to the powered individual by the name of Ploutonion; since he has corrupted and is now Ashanite, the message could not be read unless he purified into Ploutonion.

just wondering, could there ever be an order version of mirror Senshi?
Not really; the Mirror abilities used by the Dark Mirror Court are given to senshi through their bond with Mirrorspace, but this bond with Mirrorspace also gives them a chaotic aura. If the bond with Mirrorspace is severed then they lose both the chaos and the Mirror abilities and return to being just a normal White Moon Senshi

I pmd the mule too. Looking for a boy I won a few years back. He had green shorts? I don't remember much else, or if he was even named.
This was discussed over PMs!

What happens to someone's personal item if they were to corrupt/purify?
It would depend on the personal item, but the item should mostly still work after a side swap; there may be some differences (Such as, for items that might recharge on a homeworld they may need to instead charge in Negaspace, or vice versa), but these are usually handled on a case by case basis to work out what is best for each player. If anyone pursues a sideswap that affects their personal item, we will work with them to make sure it is still functioning/usable!

I had a quick question about cats and energy signature suppression in light of the latest ruling. This was asked about on page 11: xWhimsical Blue So, some questions about cats and energy suppression!
- How many senshi/knights can a cat suppress at any one time? In how big of an area? Individually, cats can suppress around six energy signatures at once, though this number might vary depending on the cat, their experience, and their power! Because the magic cats possesses can work collectively, if a cat is working with another cat to dampen energy signatures, each cat can comfortably dampen up to ten energy signatures at a time! There isn't really a specific area that cats can cover; as long as the energy signatures stay relatively near to the cat, the cat is able to dampen the signatures. Typically the area is always assumed to be as big as necessary to conceal all characters, however if you would like for a situation to arise that would result in something going awry or someone straying too far, you are free to explore this! (And if you have further questions on the topic, please feel free to share!)
- Does it take all of their focus to do this task, or can they do other things at the same time, like move around, talk, run from monsters, etc? It takes a significant amount of focus to do this task, so nothing strenuous! The less senshi or knights there are, the easier it is to suppress their energy signature and the less focus required of the cat. They would still be able to hold up conversation and move within the area, however running from monsters or particularly heated discussion might cause stress on the cat's ability to focus!
- How long could a cat potentially keep the suppression up? As long as they can concentrate on it, or does it wear them out after a while? After a while it would start to wear on the cat; this depends both on the cat, the number of senshi or knights in the area, and the amount of distractions going on! A cat should be able to suppress up to six energy signatures comfortably for two hours, however afterwards it would gradually become more and more difficult. If trying to conceal more energy signatures, it would be more taxing! And then came up again recently - at least I am assuming that energy suppression by the cats and energy dampening are one and the same so apologies if I'm wrong: xLP With the aid from two or more guardian cats you may dampen a field of energy so that many senshi may gather in relative safety.
Generally they should be able to dampen for a few hours or so before getting too exhausted. So I just wanted to check for clarification: 1. Is energy suppression by the cats and energy dampening one and the same? Yes! They are interchangeable terms! They just mean that the energy signature is suppressed so others cannot sense it.
2. If yes, if there is a situation where my cat was trying to suppress auras on his own, should I go with: a) the earlier up to 6 figure comfortably for 2 hours (with it then getting more and more difficult and uncomfortable on him until he gets too exhausted to continue) b) the later roughly two people per cat for a few hours before he gets too exhausted to continue A Guardian cat is able to dampen the energy of up to six Senshi. This is the maximum amount they can suppress and would cause their energy to deplete quickly, causing terrible fatigue and weakness. The limitations to dampening energy can be dependent on the rank of a Senshi as well, i.e. trying to suppress six Eternal Senshi would only be possible for a very limited amount of time (say, thirty minutes) with huge repercussions to the Guardian. Up to two Senshi, even at Eternal level would be the most comfortable number a guardian Cat would be able to work with.3. Following on from #2 if there is a situation where my cat was trying to suppress auras and had a second cat to help him, should I go with: a) both cats being able to comfortably dampen up to ten energy signatures at a time for 2 hours (with it then getting more and more difficult and uncomfortable on them until they get too exhausted to continue) b) the later roughly two people per cat for a few hours before the cats get too exhausted to continue In the presence of other cats, the number they can conceal grows; they work better in groups and it more than doubles the amount they can conceal. To this effect, each cat within a group could conceal ten signatures for a limited time. It would still be taxing and a lesser amount would allow them to keep vital energy reserves but it is possible for them to conceal that many.I am assuming in all cases that the senshi/knights or in the case of chaos cats senshi/agents would still have to be relatively near to the cat(s) in order to have their auras suppressed. Yes, Guardians have to at least be in the same room if not next to the person they are trying to conceal. It takes a lot of concentration and energy to suppress an aura and the further away the target is the more difficult it is to do this. As a rule of thumb the Guardian cat should be able to see the person and be no more than 10 meters (about thirty feet) away.

I'm wondering can DMC senshi access mirrors that are metal like those in prison? If not, does this for example mean anyone in prison is less likely to be targeted by DMC senshi?
In prisons, mirrors are usually reflective metals (as a glass mirror could be catastrophic in this environment) and because of this the mirror would have to be in top condition for a DMC senshi to use. Any significant blurring, or markings to the mirror would render it impossible to use. Your character should be able to see themselves clearly to have any access to it. Of course your character would still need to know where the mirror is so unless they have spent time in prison there would be little chance of them getting in! So the general population of a prison is less likely to be targeted by the DMC due to the difficulty of getting to them using the standard mirror walking method!

are we allowed to write solos for a descended knight's ancestor? i'm not suggesting a past life solo, but something more current - a slice of what the ancestor is doing while the current knight is running around doing their thing on earth. is that allowable?
Yes, however this solo can only be put in a journal as it does not fit the rules of any other subforum in our guild. Because this character is an NPC, they cannot have their own solos posted in the subforums but if you would like to write something for them you may keep them in your journal. These solos will not be applicable for growth, but if you want to share some of what an ancestor is doing, you can post solos in the descendants journal!

Hi, I've been advised it's acceptable to write a one-shot powered enemy who *doesn't* get horribly dead, so long as they never appear again after the single RP. Would I still need to post for that in the Disposables thread for approval? Or would it be good to go as a normal NPC without needing approval?
It would still need approval, but you are free to have a 'one time only' nega. If such a time comes as you ever need to borrow the disposable again for any plot purposes, you may be able to but will need to PM the mule to discuss details!

About how many students go to each school in Destiny City, particularly the high schools? I've been assuming Meadowview was on the larger side, so about 2500 - 3000 students, but that was based on my own experiences.
This sounds like a good estimate! The schools are generally set up to accommodate a large number of students, so there are likely upwards of 3500 students in Meadowview and the population of the other high schools is probably between 2500-3000 students. The colleges probably have closer to fifty thousand.

So a friend and I are doing a duo Knight quest for Jupiter. One is Alfheim (home of the Light Elves), and the other is Svertalfheim (home of the Dark Elves). I'm worried about the color scheme - as the Alfheim would probably be Light and Green and such and Pink. That would leave Pink and Dark and Brown for Svertalfheim. Um just worried about too many dark colors.
Unfortunately, Alfheim and Svartalheim are taken names, but most of the Jupiter colors wouldn't fall on the spectrum of 'too dark'. We are mostly worried about Knights with a darker color scheme—such as Saturn or Ganymede or Mars—but focusing on lighter Jupiter colors and darker Jupiter colors should be fine! The uniform can always be balanced out with lighter accents if need be!

The buttwings on eternal senshi tend to differ from artist to artist -- for examples, LizzyMoo tended more towards cartoonish as was done in the original anime, and Beejoux tends towards more 'realistic' wings -- more similar in appearance and shape to the wings of Royal senshi -- and Whimsical Blue's buttwings are somewhere inbetween. If it's to be assumed that all buttwings are functionally identical, do some of them just look different, or is that just an artist quirk and they should all be assumed to IC look mostly like the show ones (but, obviously, smaller)?
This is somewhat dependent on how the player wants to interpret their character's designs; all artists have a unique style and interpret wings how they see fit, but senshi wings are allowed to have some IC variation. Because they can be made out of different materials, wings can look different ICly. A player may request a specific style of wings when talking to their artist or let them do the style they prefer to do but unless otherwise stated, the wings should be expected to appear as they do in the art so if you have any special requests, please speak to your artist!

from my understanding, knight signet rings can be used to send many different kinds of letters, including pieces of wall so long as the message and signet stamp are on it. please correct me if i'm wrong!
i was wondering if it's possible to send small parcels as if it were treated as a traditional mail system! if so, what would be the dimensions / weight of the package being sent?
Unfortunately, no! Signet Rings are designed to send messages, not packages. Signet rings are meant to be methods of communication; even if writing a message on the wall, the actual wall would not be sent—just the words on it. (The words would literally be stripped off the wall and sent to whoever the intended recipient was). Any legitimate package cannot be delivered through signet rings. Sorry!
