Hakase Yuki
博士雪
Ichibantai Taichō

The first things Yuki noticed when she returned to the Soul Society was the the number of weak Reiryoku signatures, and the single strong one below her. Looking down, she made out the form of Zenos who had a bloodied right hand and was currently drawing away from Tadashi's Kidō. If the bloodied hand and short skirmish between the two was not enough evidence that Zenos was responsible for the near-death state of her subordinates, the large pillars in the forest and the three Shinigami trapped inside Sōkyoku was enough conclusive evidence to blame Zenos for this event. They question on Yuki's mind was why? Why would he attack those left behind when he was abnormally passive for an Arrancar. Surely he knew that by doing this without back-up that he was calling upon the wrath of not just herself, but the rest of the Captains. She knew Zenos to be an incredible fighter and a brilliant tactician as well as a very capable fighter, but she knew he wasn't stupid enough to wage war on the Soul Society with some sort of back-up.

Shifting Lee's weight in her hand, she extended her pinky finger and pressed it to the back of his neck and channeled a Tsuzuri Raiden into his body to shock him out of his coma. "Get up. Elisia-taichō, please tend to the other wounded on Sōkyoku Hill." Dropping the Captain towards the ground, Yuki drew her katana and jumped straight into Bankai, breathing a heavy sigh as her attire changed. Stepping forward, Yuki arrived at a spot twenty feet away from Zenos, staring into his eyes. She noticed that his eyes were glowing red, which was a sign that he was lusting after blood; an all together not too good situation for them. After she tucked her tanto into her robes, she lifted her finger and shot a Shō at Tadashi to knock him away from the fight that was about ensue.

Despite wanting to heal him right away, and noticing that his arm had turned to stone, she had to hold off on helping as Zenos being loose was far more pressing than the life of a Lieutenant. "Why, Zenos?" She asked, just before her skin turned black and Reiryoku began to emanate from her body in the form of wispy shadows. "Ryōude Hōmen: Sayō no Anya." She repeated, lifting her right hand and spreading her fingers out wide as a massive wave of jet black Reiryoku shot forward from her palm that would not only heavily damage Zenos outside of his Titanium Skin, but would nullify any projectiles he decided to use against her. As soon as the blast left her outstretched hand, Yuki used a rapid Shunpo to carry herself around the blast where she would sneak up behind Zenos, about seven feet away from his right. As soon as she came out of her Shunpo, she materialized a black chain that she proceeded to whip at Zenos in order to bind him to space for a while. For now, she had to entertain him lest he strike again. "I don't understand, why would you hold back if you were going to attack anyway? There's no way you were serious against them; they're all still alive!"

The winds will blow their own freshness into you,
And the storms their energy,
While cares will drop off like autumn leaves.

Kwang-Sun 4th Division Lieutenant

A rose is as sweet as its counter part.
Its beauty is unmatched.
And its pain is nothing else but legendary.

Kwang couldn't comprehend how deep inside his heart he was utterly afraid of Zenos and the power he had over everyone. Kwang never showed a hint of fear on the surface as to not have others think he was a coward of some short. Kwang knew everyone had to feel the same way. There couldn't be anyone there, before Anna and Kwang's captain arrived, that knew they had a shot at defeating Zenos. Kwang was glad that fear never showed it's ugly head and caused anyone to die by Zeno's hand. That could have been a real tragedy.

Kwang jumped down from the tree and shunpoed right next to his Captain. He stood up straight nice and firm even though they were in a crisis situation. Kwang couldn't bear on acting to relaxed around his Captain even if the situation was as bad as it was now. It was felt by Kwang as a sign of disrespect to the Captain to be to calm in any giving situation. He wanted to show that he was still alert and knew what was going on around him. Anyway, While Kwang stood at his Captains side holding his Zanpakutou in hand waiting to attack when Zenos showed any sign of movement; he could still feel small chills going up his spin as he glanced around at the wound gathered by his comrades from the last assault by Zenos. Kwang began to bit hard on his bottom lip causing a cut to form on his lip. Blood ran down his chin like a small waterfall for about 10 second before Kwang released the pressure his teeth were forcing down on his bottom lip. He looked back at his Captain, before Blact Star could answer her Captain, this Arrancar just began attacking us. We don't understand why he is attacking us. It's strange could it looks like he isn't even trying. He must be toying with us. At least thats how it appears to me. Kwang looked now at Zenos with anger in his eyes. As Kwang did so,he clinched harder on his Zanpakutou. This fighting was all pointless. What was Zenos's gain from attacking us? Is he trying to just use this for some type of weird training? Kwang let question related to that run through his head. He realized that when the Arrancar first showed up, those where the only things going through his mind. A bunch of question without a answer.

Kwang remembered that before he jumped into the tree that he healed Kyo from his serious injury. Kwang seemed to be wanted to see how he was holding up since he was in pretty bad shape before. Kwang didn't want to leave his Captain at her side while Zenos was still about but he felt that he could since Yuki was there now. Excuse me Captain i have to go check up on someone. Kwang bowed in respect and shunpoed off. He appeared right next to Kyo and was on one knee looking at the dead looking Lieutenant. Kwang noticed he was healing up ok but culd still use more treatment. Kwang took out his rose from the inside of his kimono and stuck it in the ground like he did before. the rose sunk into the ground and a few second later a single white rose poked its head out of the grund and blossomed. Kwang plunked the rose and partaken in acquiring one of its petals. Kwang placed the white rose petal on Kyo's injury. once the petal was placed down on the injury,it seemed to sink into the wound and a white bright light shinned on the wound and it began to heal up alot quicker. If you can here me i just wanted to say you did good out there. You showed alot of bravery and put your life on the line to defeat a enemy so that known of your comrades would be killed. Kwang smiled and picked up Kyo and placed him on his shoulders. He then shunpoed next to Eriko and placed Kyo right next to her. Before he went back to his Captain,Kwnang scanned for any more injury's on Kyo's body. He spotted a couple of bruises and cuts. So,Kwang had his rose from before pop out of the ground again and it bloomed right next to him. He plucked another one of its petals and placed it on the bruises and small cuts on Kyo's entire body. When he was done with that Kwang took the rose he stuck into the ground a few minutes ago and took it out of the ground and placed it back inside of his kimono. The white rose dyed shortly after that because the rose he just placed in his kimono supporting the white rose.

Kwang shunpoed and was right back at his Captains side. He stood up straight as he did before he left. He awaited for a order from his Cpatain and or some attack Zenos could muster up.

Al brave heart bull

Masashi, Lee, Gobantai Taicho

"Telling me to go. But hands beg me to stay. Your lips say that you love. Your eyes say that you hate. There's truth in your lies. Doubt in your faith. What you build you lay to waste. There's truth in your lies. Doubt in your faith. All I've got's what you didn't take. So I, I won't be the one. Be the one to leave this. In pieces. And you, you will be alone. Alone with all your secrets. And regrets, don't lie. You promised me the sky. Then tossed me like a stone. You wrap me in your arms. And chill me to the bone. There's truth in your lies. Doubt in your faith. All I've got's what you didn't take."

Lee awoke with a shock quite literally grinding his teeth together momentarily as he fell forward with a sigh. Looking at his zanpakuto he sheathed it and did a flip midair so that he landed a little less gracefully than usual o n the ground rubbing his neck. He felt downright exhausted yet finding himself back in Soul Society meant that everything had ended though whether it had been immediate or not was unknown. That was around the time Lee regained his sixth sense and felt the very weak reiryoku signatures emitting from everyone in the area that had been left behind.
'What? Seriously?' They had lost? How? Especially with the arrival of Eriko now that she was a Captain. Where the hell was Hibiki? Then the strong reiryoku signature caught his attention and he turned to look at Zenos with a mixture of realization and anger. He did all this? Closing his eyes in frustration Lee knew for a fact that given his current state it would only take Zenos a second to take him out of a battle. He had little to no energy left and just enough to function normally without exerting himself. Even with full energy he probably wouldn't have been able to beat him alone but the fact that he was useless at the moment left a sour taste in his mouth.

Ripping off the shredded remains of what used to be the top half of his uniform Lee brushed himself off. Making his way over to the three Lieutenants trapped in the hill Lee knelt down in front of Nanashi opening one of his eye lids for a moment before moving to Kyo and doing the same. Finishing up with Suzume who was still very conscious Lee obviously did not grab her eyelid simply gazing at her.
"You seem to be absolutely fine. We will talk later about why and how you were captured and I will debate on how to handle the situation. I would get you all out of here, but I find myself unable to right now. So you will simply stay put for now and reflect on how you were captured and what you could have done differently." Turning around to look at Tadashi and then Black Star Lee let out a small sigh again. So much destruction and yet it appeared as if they had done nothing to Zenos. Yuki had already engaged the man in combat however so Lee turned his attention to Eriko who was laying beside Elisia who had been carrying Tsukiko and healing Black Star.

Yuki's previous words echoing in his mind Lee next made his way over to Elisia, Eriko, Black Star, and Tsukiko kneeling beside them.
"Go ahead and fix up the others Elisia-taicho. I will look after Tsukiko-taicho and Eriko-taicho until you return. I will also keep an eye on this Shinigami. The fukutaicho up there seem to be in pretty bad shape." Looking Eriko over and given her new slender figure he deduced that before they had left Eriko had received help from Tsukiko. Black Star was still unknown to him and he didn't have a badge making him third seat or below. Tsukiko seemed to be out of it as well an obvious sign of over exertion on her part as well which had to of meant her plan had worked. Returning his gaze to Eriko Lee brushed a few stray strand of hair off her face with his pointer finger waiting for her to awake. "You should probably hurry Elisia-taicho. Your friend stuck inside the hill however is fine no need to worry."

Lee had seen Suzume talking to Elisia before they left to confront Caelum and therefore knew they had some type of connection. Either way given her current angry state it was a simple guess as to part of the problem. Kwang had been ignored until now but the fact that the Lieutenant was standing there and not helping the others angered lee himself slightly. "Also I would expect Elisia-taicho's fukutaicho to hold enough sense to know when there are wounded people in need of medical attention. Or is that not why you are in the Fourth Division? Baka..." Despite the anger he was feeling as always Lee's voice was calm though those who knew him could pick up the subtle hints of anger in his words. The last word was spoken barely above a whisper and therefore Lee did not expect others to catch it. The fact that the Lieutenant seemed to be almost completely fine also angered him considering the others had extensive injuries. Which meant he had either been weak enough Zenos ignored him or had not participated in much of the battle. Afterwards his eyes returned to Eriko a very small amount of concern in his eyes he didn't have the energy to conceal.

"Sacrifice through Danger and Pure Love. That is what the Lily of the Valley symbolizes."

Tadashi saw with a slight inclination of his head that the attack had failed, even though it had been his last. The arrancar's speed had allowed him to leave totally unskaved. The Lieutenant felt himself go cold as he suddenly couldn't flex his fingers or move his arm anymore. The result of all this was an overwhelmingly helpless feeling of being beaten and being handicapped. And so he just stayed in place, expecting the stone effect to spread.

To his surprise, it did not. He didn't realize this until Yuki had begun talking, and he also didn't notice that several friendly Captains had arrived to relieve the doomed Lieutenants. Tadashi hadn't thought that Zenos was actually going to kill anyone at first, but with some injuries a bit too deep and of course his petrification, he had begun to have doubts about that. Suddenly, he felt himself being pushed back and recognized it as a Kido. Looking up, he saw that is was Yuki. He was frightened for a moment that the pressure of the Sho would make the stone arm crack, but it was unfounded.

Now finding himself air-walking a bit further away, he decided to regroup with the others if at all possible. He was feeling a bit heavy, actually, and wondered if flash-stepping would be effected by the arm. First of all, the exhausted Lieutenant glided down and made for his sword. He'd dropped Tenma upon casting the Hado at Zenos. However, seeing as he couldn't pick up the sword, he changed his mind midway and flash-stepped to the three stuck on Sokyoku Hill.

Malchut Sephira - Being of Lowliness

The titanium that gathered at his skin was a very low conductor of electricity and thus electrical attacks had little effect on him despite notions to the contrary. However, large scale ones could be conducted by the titanium and leave him effected, if only to small varying degrees. Being struck point-blank by a Hadō that could potentially cause him problems was not on Zenos' to do list, so he quickly hardened his body as soon as he heard the first syllable of the Hadō, having already seen this one in the past. He also stepped back to lessen the damage, then proceeded to take the rest of the blast head-on, letting the attack send him sliding back several feet. The electricity within it connected with his titanium skin and flowed throughout his body, leaving him momentarily unable to control his muscles until the feeling passed.

Just as he was coming out of the muscle spasms, Yuki had showed up and was directing a large blast of what appeared to be black Reiryoku. Hardly one to take such a blast from someone who already knew his full repertoire of moves, Zenos acted quickly, waving both of his hands to the right, an act which suddenly reduced the entirety of Sōkyoku Hill into sand, then brought them back to the left. This motion caused the sand that he had created to swarm in front of him as it released the Lieutenants from it's grasp, and met the blast head on. Zenos took to the air with a Sonído that took him up and back as the mass of sand he had move in front of him, rode the blast to a certain degree, bulging on his direction before the blast was quelled; a testament to how powerful it was. As he moved to the sky, the ground below him filled with the sand from the Hill, and it was quite a large amount, enough so that the trees were being buried while it spilled over into the city itself that lay about a hundred feet behind him.

With his ever-active Pesquisa, Zenos took note of Yuki's movements, but was unable to fully keep up with her due to the magnitude of the move he had just pulled off. Glancing back, he faded to the right just in time to watch a black chain whip past his face. His eyes widened ever so slightly at how close it had been; Yuki seemed more powerful these days. Knowing all too well that Yuki would manipulate it to hit him again, he released a gas from his mouth that spread over roughly seventeen links as the chain passed by. Quickly drawing his dagger, he severed the chain where it had been turned to stone, then flicked his right wrist back, creating another large pillar that he then flung at Yuki by flicking his wrist back towards her. Expecting her to use that same blast again, Zenos darted behind the pillar so that he could come up behind Yuki on the left side. Once he was on the opposite side of the pillar, he used a Sonído to bring him behind Yuki where he flicked his right hand towards her, extended his index finger and fired the same beam that had done Tadashi in at the back of her neck.

Zenos had heard Yuki's questions, but decided not to answer them just yet, not until he was done testing them. Not stupid enough to remain in the same place for longer than a few seconds when dealing with any Hakase, Zenos left behind an after image after the beam had left his finger tip and returned to her right where he followed up the beam with a sudden Cero Oscuras that erupted from his right index finger without warning. The Cero expanded, widening as it released an immense black wave of dark Reiryoku that turned any exposed light into absolute pitch darkness, travelling quickly to reach it's intended destination.

...and thus the world is petrified.

Hei's arrival on the scene was once again different as he had not made himself visible when he first appeared, but instead had hid himself in the treetops and refracted light around him to make him invisible. He stood idly, watching Zenos to study his movements to see if he had improved. Zenos was a personal thing for Hei, as they had a long-standing rivalry in which neither had come out on top. He was stronger than Hei, and Hei had long since accepted this fact. Normally Hei relied on Mōra Kuro Kijitsu to suppress abilities similar to Zenos' Titanium Skin, and force the fight to become one of brute force and speed. Unfortunately, Zenos outclassed him specs, something Hei did not like to admit. Even without his Titanium Skin, his ability to regenerate along with his Physical Strength and Speed made him a formidable opponent. Thus, Zenos was the one opponent he had been unable to defeat and he had tried time and time again to do so. He could match him and make up for the gap in specs with his intellect, but he had yet to successfully beat the Arrancar.

He was intrigued by his growth as he was now powerful enough to reduced a massive structure into sand and then use that sand to block Yuki's attack. At this point, he was on the move, breaking free of the light which gave him the appearance of materializing out of no where. Yuki would probably kick him if he didn't save them, so he did so begrudgingly. It took minimal effort for Hei to locate all three Lieutenants inside the waterfall of sand, and gather them in his arms. As he emerged from the waterfall, one would take note in the callous way he had chosen to hold them, not really caring how he had received any of them. Suzume was tucked under his right arm and being held there by significant pressure that would crack a rib or two provided he left her there for long, and both Kyo and Nanashi were being held by their left and right ankles respectively, dangling from his person as he floated towards Elisia. Rather than deliver any of them by hand like any sensible person might, Hei flicked his left wrist and hurled Nanashi at Lee, switched Kyo into his left hand hand and threw him carelessly towards the ground, then half-heartedly held Suzume out and simply dropped her seventy feet down into her sister's lap.

By the time he was done, he noticed Zenos creating a Cero Oscuras. Normally, he wouldn't have interfered, but it was enough for Yuki to have to deal with both Zenos' Iron Pillar of Hades and his Eternal Petrification, let alone his Cero Oscuras, which was strangely more powerful than it should have been for an Arrancar. Once he landed in the sand near Yuki, he rushed past her, his form becoming blur as his Kuromijin flowed from Shōhi's saya and engulfed the abnormally large Cero, swallowing it whole before it could strike Yuki. As Hei moved, his blur changed colors as his uniform melted away to accommodate for Shōhi's Bankai outfit and his hair's change in color. Just as the purple tinge crept up his right arm and he reached Zenos, Hei would proceed to palm the Arrancar's face and use the force of his swing to send him flying into the Seireitei's streets.

Simply waving his hand across his face was enough to materialize the new mask that he gained in death, and project the ocean-like Reiatsu all across the Seireitei, leaving no area unaffected. The mask parted at the temporomandibular joint, and smoke billowed out of his lips as he took to the air and began charging a patch black Cero at the apex of his tongue. He lifted his left foot which began glowing white, and pointed it at Zenos' fallen form. Two concentric rings of light formed around his foot and eight extensions shot out to meet these rings as his foot began to glow even whiter. Tilting his head down, he released the potent Cero, waited a second to align his timing, then kicked forward, sending a short beam of light that was to mix with the Cero and strike Zenos, creating a huge explosion upon contact. Damage to the Seireitei was inevitable, but he cared very little about this.

⋆⋆⋆ELISIA xRIYU
squadxfourxCAPTAIN

Elisia narrowed her eyes slightly at Kwang, not recognizing him at first, at least, until he called her Captain. Ah. He must be her new Lieutenant. Looking distinctively more friendly, but still slightly harassed and worried, she listened to him. So it was this Arrancar. Well, Yuki would deal with him, so all she had to worry about now was healing the others. She started slightly as Yuki addressed her, as she had been concentrating on her Lieutenant and had not noticed her appearance. “Very well, Sotaichō,” she answered in a clear voice. It seemed like she would have her work cut out for her, since this Arrancar had been the person who had attacked them. Hopefully, the others in Sōkyoku Hill wouldn’t be as bad. Then again, that was wistful thinking that did not belong to the urgency of now. Staring at Black Star, she quietly told him in a firm voice, “I have to tend to the others now, but if you can, make sure that Eriko-taichō and yourself stay well. The other Captains should be appearing soon, and they should be able to offer you protection, but if anything goes wrong, yell and I’ll hear you.” Hesitating slightly, she debated over whether to leave Tsukiko or take the girl with her. Hei was most likely the only one who knew how to ‘fix’ Tsukiko and make her move again, but he didn’t seem to be around for the moment. Ah well. She’d manage one way or another. However, at that moment in time, all her plans changed.

To be blunt, she had been wondering exactly how she was going to get those Lieutenants out of the stone hill, when it suddenly turned to sand, obviously to protect the Arrancar himself against Yuki’s attacks. This was going to be one nasty battle. Lee’s appearance gave her some comfort, as she knew now at least, that there was another Captain here. She nodded at him, slightly comforted and noticing the fact that he seemed pretty concerned about Eriko. It was her turn to reassure him. “Eriko-taichō’ll be fine. She just needs to rest for a bit and she might be a little sore.” She had been about to move again, but this time, Lee started scolding her Lieutenant. Great. Maybe it wasn’t time to start scolding, but she understood part of his anger. If this stupid enemy hadn’t come along at all, everything would have been fine. Looking across to where Sōkyoku Hill had been, she flinched at the sight of Hei carrying her three injured patients. Firstly, Hei himself made her feel slightly intimidated and the way he was holding them…goddamn it. She wasn’t going to get into a fight with him at the moment. Instead of yelling like she wanted to, she merely stayed quiet, letting her little sister fall into her lap. Since Zume was there first, Elisia did a quick check of the girl, noting the fact that she didn’t seem injured, only slightly emotionally distressed by something. That was something she’d have to manage later. Gently sliding Zume off her lap, Elisia carefully laid Tsukiko’s body on the ground. She looked up urgently at her dazed sister, before looking towards Lee. “Keep them both safe please,” she asked politely, worry seeping into her voice.

Moving nearby to where Kyo’s body had been thrown by Hei, she knelt beside him, checking his vitals. There didn’t seem to be bad injuries on his actual body, except for some bruises and cuts, but his breathing was erratic, meaning that his lungs had most likely been pierced. This Shinigami was fighting pretty well, since he didn’t seem dead yet, but telling from his pulse, he was on the very brink of death. She was unfortunately delayed for a couple of minutes as she struggled against Hei’s sudden wave of Reiatsu. Sheesh. Couldn’t he even wait until after she had finished healing or something like that? “Chiyudō #99: Zenji,” she whispered. His cuts and bruises would easily heal themselves, and hopefully if everything went well, his internal wounds would heal also. Just in case, she also muttered, “Chiyudō #63: Zōketsu,” before injecting him with blood. Lifting his body, she shifted him next to Tsukiko’s lifeless body. He should be able to wake up in a little while, as long as everything went well. Hurrying again, she took Nanashi’s body off Lee, before putting him in a horizontal position a short distance away. There was a gaping hole where his stomach should have been and he was visibly unconscious at this moment in time. However, just as a precaution as what she was going to do would hurt a hell of a lot, she used Chiyudō #30: Iyashi to make sure that he wouldn’t feel a thing. Ripping apart his clothes since they would hinder her, she gasped in shock and surprise at the sheer deformity of scars that littered his skin. Holy crap. What had happened? With her fingers, she lightly traced his scars, getting an image of what his injuries would have been like. Ouch.

Putting that thought aside for the moment, she pulled off her own Haori, placing it next to her, to cover him up when he woke again. She cancelled her Bankai, instead going into Shikai as she needed her flames for the moment. A red, orange and yellow flickering flame appeared on her hand as she gingerly started to burn away the unhealthy skin in the hole, since sand had contaminated it and it wouldn’t be very good for him at all. Finished with that, she then breathed, “Rukki Huang,” again to activate her Bankai. She cut herself deep this time, letting a steady stream of her blood fall onto his injury, watching as it slowly healed. It took her a short while, but eventually, skin started to form again around the area, nearly closing up the wound. At that moment, she stopped, instead using Chiyudō #28: Shōshaku to complete the sealing of the wound and then injecting him with blood, using Chiyudō #63: Zōketsu. Sitting back, she covered him with her Captain’s Haori, making sure that none of his scars were visible. Unfortunately, he had a smaller new one to add to it, as the skin had not completely healed over it. Shifting him so that his head was in her lap and thus he would be more comfortable, she tapped him gently on the forehead, saying, “Hey, are you alright?” Hopefully, that would be one of her last healings as she was feeling sort of drained of power at the moment, at having to do consecutive healings and using so many Kido at the one time. Instead of worrying about Tsukiko as she knew that she was going to do in a second, she instead focused her efforts on waking Nanashi up, trying everything possible she could.

| Er, sorry about the long-ness of the post. sweatdrop Basically Eli went to put Tsukiko on the ground, then healed Kyo before putting him next to Tsuki, then healed Nanashi and is attempting to wake him up. |

Have you ever encountered such a beautiful melody?

═══════════════════════╕››››››››››››

Kyo and Zetsumeireiki had been playing to their hearts content when suddenly Zetsumeireiki stopped. "What's the matter? Are you admitting defeat?" Kyo jested when he noticed the lack of her violin's sound. "Rei?" he said again when she didn't respond. He then noticed she was staring at the lake once more. With the exception of a few small patches, the ice was mostly gone now, indicating he would soon be dead. He walked over next to her and looked at the water as well. Had it not been for it's ominous meaning he would have said it was quite serene just watching the small waves silently lap against the bank.

Zetsumeireiki didn't respond to Kyo at first. She simply continued to watch the water silently. Then, without a word she walked to the end of the dock, and knelt down so she was closer to the water's surface. After watching for a few moments more she slowly stood back up. "Ro-ro...have you noticed?" she said continuing to look out over the water away from him.

Kyo's eye twitched at her calling him that cursed nickname again, but he let it go since he hadn't noticed whatever it was she was talking about and he was curious as to what she meant. He quickly made his way over to the end of the dock and looked down at the water as she had. Almost immediately he noticed what she had been so intently looking at before. "The snowflakes....they're...freezing the lake!" It was indeed as Kyo had stated in his shock. Wherever the drifting snowflakes touched the water, a tiny ice crystal instantly formed. Kyo then turned his attention to the clouds as the snow began to intensify. "Someone must have healed me. That must mean they beat that b*****d." Kyo could hardly contain his excitement as a wide smile stretched across his face and he stretched his arms out to either side while continuing to look up at the falling snow. He began to laugh as he stood there while Zetsumeireiki watched with a smile of her own.

Black Star had fallen onto his back on top of the heal. His weariness over to grand for him to fend off. His breathing was pained by the ribs that were broken. His head shifted to look and see the Reiatsu of new souls appear. It was Elisia, who came to him to heal his burns. It was smoothing, like rubbing a fine aloe over them. She disappeared as fast as she appeared. It seemed like she was taking care of the fallen Eriko now. Just as he was laying his head back down, she was there asking him questions. "A big star like me ain't in any p-" He gritted his teeth in a reply to his ribs being set back to place. "An Arrancar attacked us... after we finished off the Exaequare... well, after Nanashi did." Black Star said the last part with remorse. "B-ba-chan..." Black Star murmured as Yuki appeared and made her way to the hollow. He was still immobilize on the ground. He looked toward Lee as he showed up and was gawking at him with unknown eyes. It sort of made Black Star want to stand tall and announce who he was, but that wouldn't be an option right now. He snickered at the slanders we casted toward Kwang-sun. Though, Black Star was sure to hear about it from his own captain... which brought a sigh to his breath.

When Elisia spoke to him again, a small blush grew over his cheeks added with a nod. She had been given orders, and thankfully, he hadn't. Suddenly, the ground beneath him had started shifted and feeling loose. It was turning into sand under Zenos' will. With a quick force of his body. He air walked and shunpo'd to safety below. Standing help take some of the pain, but he was still in discomfort. He moved his left arm over his right rib cage, which felt the worst. Hei's reiatsu was stifling, along with Yuki's and Zenos'. So he finally shifted to a seating position that was the least discomforting. He was close by Kyo and Tsukiko. He was glad that Elisia was able to heal him, but he still felt like he had to make it up to Kyo. Mean while. He shuffled his way over to a tree and used it was a leaning post. His eyes were squinted as he breathed normally.

Standing up, Nanashi began to walk in the direction that he had designated as North even though he had no idea how to determine such a thing. As he wandered, he ran into many a "wall" that were randomly placed and looked exactly the same as the rest of the place. "What the hell is this place and why the hell is it so weird?" His words echoed throughout the place as he proceeded to take another step. Feeling himself on a sudden steep decline, he realized he was not walking down from where he had been walking prior. However, he was not falling; it was as though he had walked off a skyscraper, and immediately stepped onto the side of the building, only to have gravity shift in his favor. It certainly explained how the girl had been walking on the "wall". "I think I might be high..." He commented idly as he continued his exploration of the place.

After several dozens of minutes of walking and experiencing what he called "downwalking", abruptly changing direction downwards, and "upwalking", abruptly changing direction upwards, he noticed a figure in the distance. As he got closer, he saw that it was Shōshinome and that he was on the "ceiling.". Running towards him and waving his hands like an imbecile, Nanashi soon found himself on that "ceiling," now seeing Sōshinome as right side-up. "Oi, what is this place and why is it so strange? And who was she? She called me her husband. I never married anyone... Did I?" Waving his hand dismissively, the spirit tilted his head to the side and frowned. He was a little overwhelmed by the sudden onslaught of questions, but he did his best to answer them in the order they were asked. "It's your inner world, of course and it's weird as you so call it because it reflects your inability to pay attention for extended periods of time. By that I mean, the world no longer pays attention to the laws of physics and the like because of your ADHD. Doesn't make sense, does it? Too damn bad; I don't make the rules. That was exactly who she said she was, I imagine. She called herself your wife, so why believe otherwise? It's your world after all. Your memories, your thoughts, and your experiences and no one else's. I believe that covers your questions. Anything else?" He asked, taking note of the look of confusion on Nanashi's face. Nanashi lifted a finger and parted his lips like he was going to speak, but no words came out as he suddenly disappeared.

"It's just like I told her; I ain't no one's husband, dammit! I look ******** three years old, I don't wanna be married!" He shouted, jolting upright and slamming his head into Elisia's face in the process. The abrupt change in scenery made him realize he was no longer with Sōshinome, and a quick glance around told him that he now had company. He was free of the hill now, and was healed to a certain degree. The lack of intense pain made him look down at the fact that he was no longer fully clothed. Someone had seen his scars, and that was not a good thing. With the sudden pop of a bubble and an outward rush of air, Nanashi's katana appeared in his hand, suddenly shifting form as he invoked Shikai without words for the first time. He didn't even notice this, as he was so distracted he still assumed it to be in Bankai even though it had sealed itself while he was heavily wounded. With the same noises, Nanashi vanished from sight without so much as thanks to Elisia, leaving her Haori behind to float to the ground.

Hakase Yuki
博士雪
Ichibantai Taichō

Taking note that her questions had gone unanswered by Zenos, Yuki found herself slightly annoyed at the Arrancar at the moment. Tugging her severed chain back towards her, she steeled her legs, and whipped the remaining length of chain at the pillar just as it was several feet away from her. The result was that the pillar froze on the spot, unable to budge from that point in space, not even affected by gravity itself. Her power to sense others went haywire when she felt Zenos appear to her back left, and knowing his style of fighting, she assumed one of his petrification techniques was in order. Knowing the back of her neck to be her largest blind spot, she whirled around and slid to the side, just in time for the beam to nick the right side of her neck and turn it to stone. The initial shock of having a body part turned to stone was the worst part, but if one has been through it more than once, they get used to it. She turned, only to find an afterimage that she confirmed by tracking blood flow and upon finding none, knew he was elsewhere. The feeling of a large surge of Reiryoku was enough to make the hairs on her neck stand on end and she jumped out of the way, latching onto the pillar and scaling it like a monkey to get out of the way, only to find the Cero Oscuras had vanished due to Hei's inteference.

She could only watch as Hei knocked the Arrancar into the city, then proceed to launch both Cero and beam of light at him, clearly not caring what collateral damage he caused. Releasing the pillar, she rocketed towards her brother and buried her foot into the side of his face just after Sayō no Anya deactivated and returned her body to normal. The force of impact was enough to send her little brother back down the ground, her goal to get him off his high horse. From above, the Sōtaichō dropped to the ground next to Hei and put her left hand on her hip and began to chastise him while shaking her extended finger in his face. "Stop playing the hero, dammit! I don't need you to do that anymore! You died, Hei and left me stuck in a child's form! I had to fend for myself, I had to get my own power! I got stronger, and I don't need to rely on you anymore! I don't need you to swoop in and save me all the time, o-nii-chan!" Her voice was raised, enough so that those in the vicinity could hear her, and she had stressed the last word to remind him that she was the older twin. Staring him down with narrowed eyes, she snapped her fingers to create a ball of white Reiryoku just above her fingers. Flicking this towards her chest after activating Shunkō, the two energies fused and created a field of repelling Reiryoku that covered her entire body. After staring into the soulless eyes of his mask for a half-minute, she screamed in a not-so-real rage, then proceeded to head-butt him in the face, taking the kinetic energy gained from contact into her Naihatsu. While the head-butt served to give her that energy, she had also done because she was somewhat annoyed with Hei.

Dropping her voice, she hissed the rest of her words to him. "For once let me save you. Even you don't need saving, at least let me feel useful. Do it, or I'll never put out again." Turning, she tapped her foot on the ground, stealing the kinetic energy from this action and adding it to her collection. After about a minute, Yuki stepped forward and performed a dash that was so fast that it was a mere few feet per second from being a Shunpo. This maneuver gave her an abundance of kinetic energy from the movement and filled her reserves. By the time she had arrived at Zenos who was just now standing up, she was already preparing to perform a lariat on the arrancar. Though she would normally be concerned by the density of his Titanium Skin, she had nothing to fear due to the properties of Naihatsu. Not only did it prevent direct contact, but it also sent out a shock wave of Reiryoku with the concussive force to kill a human with every strike she delivered. Pulling out of this move, Yuki performed another dash to the right and out of his reach, before closing the gap again and aiming a kick to his kick to deliver the same results. "You never answered me!" She stated, drawing her foot away and leaving Zenos an afterimage courtesy of Utsusemi. "What are your motives?" Staring him down from several feet away, Yuki kept herself on guard and especially in regards to the ground.

The winds will blow their own freshness into you,
And the storms their energy,
While cares will drop off like autumn leaves.

⋆⋆⋆ELISIA xRIYU

Elisia sighed slightly, about to lift Nanashi and move him next to the others since he didn’t seem to be responding at the moment. However, right then, he decided to suddenly become conscious again as he yelled something random out, jerking upwards and hitting her face with his head. Ouch. Wincing slightly, she raised her eyebrows at him. Alright, maybe being a healer wasn’t entirely a wonderful job and people didn’t often get the chance to thank, but still, head-butting her was definitely not the right way to go about things. Not stopping him as he suddenly disappeared, she instead clambered slowly to her feet, pulling the Haori Nanashi had discarded, back onto herself. It looked as if he was in a rush or was simply not willing to talk to anyone who had seen his scars. She delicately shuddered as she remembered the scars that he had. Curiousity overwhelmed her as she wondered how he had gotten them in the first place, but this was not the time to ask about this at all. Instead, she moved back to where the others were.

Sitting herself gracefully on the ground next to Tsukiko, she deliberated over what she should do next. Of course, she could always heal Black Star’s ribs, but right now, she really needed to just catch a few moments before her next healing. Eyeing Black Star, she noticed that his breathing was a little erratic too. Maybe she’d need to heal him first. Getting up again, she jumped as a raised voice reached her ears. It took her only a few moments to realize the source of the sound – Yuki. Apparently, Yuki was reprimanding Hei over something. To tell the truth, it was sort of funny to see Hei being told off that way, but she felt the slightest amount of pity for Hei. Maybe he just needed something to do, which didn’t include interfering in his sister’s battles. Remembering that he was most likely the only one that could actually see what was wrong at Tsukiko, Elisia called to him, “Hakase Hei,” she paused briefly here, unsure of whether to call him a Captain or not, but she plunged ahead, “Your daughter, Tsukiko…I think she’s pushed herself too hard this time. Can you help her?” Closing her mouth abruptly, she decided that was the best she could do at the moment for Tsukiko. It wasn't like she could really heal the girl.

Time for her to heal again. She moved towards where Black Star was, crossing her arms and mumbling, “Chiyudō #30: Iyashi.” Her preparations were ready and she twirled a scalpel, which she had taken from her pouch, in her hands. Shifting him quickly, she laid him on his back, before whipping off her Haori and covering his eyes with them. From experience, she knew that people often started panicking when they saw their own insides, so that was the best for now. “Everything’s going to be alright. You shouldn’t be able to feel any pain, but it might feel a little weird for a bit. Trust me and try not to move too much.” she calmly told him. Using her scalpel, she cut down his chest, exposing his ribs so that she could heal them. She examined them quickly, noticing that several had been broken. Carefully setting them roughly back into place, she cut herself, before dripping blood on the ribs and watching as the ribs sealed up and healed quickly. She repeated this for all the ribs that were broken, before letting her blood seal up the wound she had created herself and using Chiyudō #28: Shōshaku to completely close the wound. Looking at her handiwork, she was satisfied. He might be a little sore and obviously, it would not be good to jolt the ribs too much, but other than it, it was alright. Pulling her Haori off his eyes, she gave him a firm nod, before putting a capsule of pills into his hands. “It might be a little sore in a bit, so these are pain-relievers, but if anything goes drastically wrong, I’d advise you to come and see me again.” she said to him, before looking at him once more, “Anyway, how does it feel?”

Tadashi was starting to really feel sore even as he glided through the air, trying to keep himself together. Air Walking was becoming difficult, especially with all the monstrous spiritual energies in the area, and it also felt so unnaturally heavy on one side of his body as he moved. Where the hell was that 4th division Lieutenant when you needed him? Tadashi looked around a bit and then spotted, with some surprise, Elisia. He was even more startled when he saw Black Star being torn open from the back, but his mind caught up with him and told him the obvious - it was part of the healing Kido Tadashi had always been fascinated with but never dabbled in. He remembered asking Elisia about teaching him chiyudo, but it never happened. Well, considering recent events, that was understandable.

Looking down at Elisia, he decided to flash-step to her current position. If nothing else, he needed a safe place to rest and get over the fact that his arm was a stone lump at the moment, or possibly forever. He didn't wish to disturb her, but he was nearing his limit. On top of fighting Vesper and being weighed down by his shoulder and arm, he had basically tired himself out over the two battles. Plus, a whole seperate part of his being in the form of his zanpakuto was currently buried under the sands that Zenos had created. There was nothing he could do battlewise at this point what with two useless arms, no zanpakuto, and a physically exhausted body.

Feeling: E l a t e d ?
"Truth is simply a conception..."

The sudden appearance into the Seireitei was enough to catch Hideki of guard who simply stared at the ground with a dull look of interest on his face. His mind snapped back to the going ons of the world as he felt Yuki's Reiatsu spike. His eyes flung to the direction of the spike, and immediately began to zoom and focus upon her doings. She was fighting that silver-haired Arrancar, Zenos. Apparently, he and Hei went way back, though Hideki knew nothing of the sort. Having his mind move back on subject, Hideki felt that it was odd to only feel Yuki and the Captains that returned back with him. There were well over 4 or 5 Lieutenants left here to deal with the Exequare, of whom Hideki could not find either. His location was within the forest of the Sōkyoku, so he scanned the air soon after think of the possibility they were dead or suspended. He used X-ray vision, as if they were dead, nothing would show up, and if they were suspended in anyway, their bones would show up.

Finding that they were completely solid, Hideki was flummoxed and cursed under his breath, though his breath was wisped away as he witnessed the body shift, seeing the Hill become sand, and just as Zenos let loose a Cero, Hei appeared, pouring out an ungodly amount of reiatsu. Hideki sighed out as the air in his lungs were 'pulled' out from the pressure, but soon after it passed, he simply took a breath to sigh yet again. He was not much of a healer, and never genuinely enjoyed saving others, but in the other hand, he felt he could not join in the fight with Zenos, as he would simply get in the way. Shrugging slightly out of frustration, Hideki executed a shunpo and was in a secluded spot , a small Cave in the wall of the Hill hidden by a few large shrubs. He sat within it, cross-legged and with Datenshi laid across his lap. His eyes were closed, but they were very much watching , darting back and forth, he meditated, becoming calm in every way possible.
