Daniel was in absolute shock. Last thing he remembered was trying to turn off his device and then there was some kind of fuzziness before he came to the agony of losing his hand. There on the ground was his lifeless hand still clenching the dagger and Athrun whom he only met recently slumped forward with a severe wound in his back.
Hiro moved behind Daniel and snapped him to reality as Hiro forced the stump above Daniels head to stop the the blood from flowing so badly.
"You see this? This is why we just want to be left alone. Its outsiders like you that make us look bad wanting to take a peek at something evil and you bring that evil here with you." Hiro said in a harsh tone as he held Daniel's other arm rightly so he could not get away.
"I...I don't know what is going on." Daniel said hoarsely as the pain coursed through him.
It was all Hiro could do to not twist the other man's arm off as his anger flared at the murderer's comment. His reasoning was seriously compromised with having seen Daniel kill a man before them and making the situation much worse.

Ayaka turned into Kaori, and hid her face in the woman's clothes. Her entire body shook with shock. She had not seen that coming.
Neko returned with bandages, and several jars of herbs. She grabbed a piece of wood and offered it to Daniel in case he wanted to bite it to concentrate on something other than the pain. She started by tying a string tightly around the base of the stump. She continued cleaning the wound, and the blood. She quickly bandaged it up making sure the bandage was well layered. She sat back, "I am done Hiro." She said softly. Getting to her feet again she walked over to Athrun to check over him. She had known before that he was gone. Now his body was cold. He was really gone.

“I will dance the purification dance a little later. I will remember to conserve my energy.” Kaori’s voice came softly as she spoke. She knew the dance would be required as she soothed Ayaka. She knew her duties and it would be time again to dance the dance to calm the spirits.

Now with the murder subdued and no longer in danger of blood loss Hiro relaxed slightly as he took Daniel's arm and lead him out the door.
"I am going to put this man in a holding cell. I will be back soon." Hiro said to everyone as his vision shifted over the scene. He saw his sister crying into Kaori's robes and he couldn't help but feel guilty taking her back to this place.

"He's going to be alright, right?" Ayaka asked, tears still falling down her cheeks. "Athrun, Daniel, they are going to be alright, right?" She asked shaking.
Neko sighed and shook her head. She had taken a blanket out with her, which she now lay over Athrun.

"I'm sorry you had to see this Ayaka...Neko please take care of her and the others. This can't be an easy easy scene for any of them." Hiro said as he forced Daniel away. With the body covered at least it was a little less tragic and the perp taken out of sight maybe everyone could rest easier.
"I don't understand what is going on. Why did you cut my hand off you lunatic! Somebody please help me!" came the pathetic cries of Daniel as he was dragged off.

Kaori would cover Ayaka’s ears so that she didn’t hear Daniel. Her blade staying within her kimono as she looked at Hiro nodding slightly, she’d also stay as she had a feeling of duty. Her eyes looked around as she released Ayaka. “I’m going to dance the purification dance now Ayaka. Stay here. Neko, if I falter you can chastise me later.”
Kaori would stand up then as she moved out as ways to begin her dance with blade drawn. Her steps careful and slight, the blade began to glow as she began to purify the area with her energy controlling it much better than before. Her eyes closed the whole time.

Ayaka nodded. She soon felt Neko's arms around her. "Please return soon brother." She called after him. She watched Kaori leave and shook her head. She prayed that they would both be alright.
Neko sighed, she would wait for Hiro to get back so he could her what to do with Athrun's body.

Lucian was completely shocked. The whole room had changed suddenly from peaceful, relaxing mood to one of complete horror! He shuddered and looked at Athrun. That....that could have been me!! That---! He shook his head. "By the gods...who could have ever known Daniel was the murderer? Did he...?" he stopped, a sad look in his eyes. "It just seems to be getting worse..."
Alyssa slumped down against the wall. Her eyes was full of tears and though they slid down her cheeks, she made no sound. Only a slight whimper. Though Athrun was a complete stranger to her, he was kind and caring to her. His death hit Alyssa harder than she would've imagined.

Luna fell to her knees as she watched the whole scene flash by her again and again like a movie. "why? why did you people have to come?" she said quietly. "We were all doing well until you outsiders came!" she yelled at them as tears streamed down her eyes.

"That's why we asked you all to leave." Ayaka said still sobbing. "This was bound to happen! You can blame no one but yourselves!" she shouted accusingly.
Neko hushed Ayaka and tried to calm her. She tried to calm the others as well. "Luna, would you like to sit with Ayaka, you two can care for each other, right nya?" Neko said softly. She wanted to calm the group as best as she could. She began by moving Athrun's body out fo the room, and out of sight.

"Sure." Luna said quietly as she sat down next to Ayaka and let her rest her head against her. "It will be okay." she said as she hugged her.

Ayaka hugged Luna back tightly. "This is going all wrong," She moaned softly in Luna's ear. "Mom will not be happy!"

Hiro locked the whimpering man up. It was strange how the look in his eyes changed so quickly. Even if it was a mental illness he was a criminal that killed another man and that he knew from seeing the crime.
Hiro left Daniel locked up holding his his stump and muttering. As he returned to the scene of the attack he frowned as he looked down at the phone still open on the floor. He carefully picked it up and noticed the last number dialed. It turns out Athrun was not calling his wife but the authorities and the operator was listening to everything up to this point.
"Hello operator I am sorry we have not been able to communicate but I caught a man in the act of a crime and had to subdue him. Please follow my instructions and the proper authorities can pick the man up." Hiro said calmly into the phone.

Kaori would continue her dance till finally she stopped at the final step. She’d breathe a little heavily as she stepped back into the light where she could be seen by Ayaka and Luna. Her eyes were darkened by the purification ceremony as she would come to a knee. It took some energy from her but it was done. Neko could yell at her now if she wanted for overexerting herself so close to recovering her energy. “It is done. I need rest now.” Kaori exclaimed as she sat against a wall and closed her eyes for a few brief moments.
