*The girl noticed the stranger approach her and extend his hand in offer of assistance. Realizing that she was still on the floor, Naj's face flushed with embarassment. She smiled weakly before turning her head, not wanting to be seen as such. After a brief moment, Naj extended her arm in acceptance, placing her hand on top of his.* Thanks....

He gave a greater smile to her as she accepted his help. Finally! someone that wouldn't bite off his head or just ignore him. He felt wuite happy because of this and cheerfully pulled her up with no effort."You're welcomed!" He stated cheerfully, practically shouting. He was happy that he could start chatting with someone, and maybe be friends.

His plans was too befriend them all, but he realised he couldn't do that after his first few of his encounters. Maybe he would have to unfold his plan one slow step at a time, since nice people here were rare.

Ikue's brows raised. "Fed to the spiders..? That's terrible..!" She then nodded after what Bertram said next. Ikue grinned. "Yeah, you're a boring person alright." The young girl chuckled, shaking her head gently. "Heh, I was just kidding. I don't think you're boring at all. I really enjoyed myself today, especially at the gardens."

"Yeah... I really enjoyed myself, too..." 'especially being with you.' Bertram smiled at her, wondering if he could reach for her hand. The elevator hit the 20th floor. After whistling a bit, he coughed and asked, "What about you? What makes you happy?"

As the girl bowed, so did he, not wantign to be in any way rude. "Nice to meet you Najaran, my name is Neit, and no I do not know this place very well" he said with a smile on his face as he straightened himself.

Now that he thought about it, taking a tour of the place wouldn't be half bad. Since he's only been at the entrance of the hotel, the lobby, and the bar. He estimated that she would propose a tour, put he was not one hundred percent sure, so he tried not to get his hopes up.

-Mimi had snuck her way up to the lobby and bar's threshold, a big cup of chicken and cream of celery soup. It was really hard to tell what smelled worse, the burnt soup or the concoction itself. It was a strange mix for a strange girl. Not that she minded.

The smile that had adorned her face vanished, face growing paler by the scond. Did she hear right? Izumi... was that not Sirus' last name? Did she just imagine it? Mimi suddenly felt weak, tired...trapped. She could feel the panic rise.

With a faint whimper she snuck back into the bar room, the cup she had once held shattering where she had once stood.

Chewing on her lip, she cowered in a corner, arms over head...the same position she had held the day after the fight with the wraith. Perhaps if she curled up tightly enough she'd dissapear.-

Bertram looked worried, and kneeled down beside her. "Are... are you okay?" 'Oh, brilliant deduction work there, Holmes... maybe next you can find out if drinking blood in order to stay alive is one of the defining characteristics of a vampire.' He helped her to her feet, holding her steady. Then the lift shook again, and he toppled back to the ground, still holding her in his arms. "Um..." he blushed.

Duellist looked over at Mimi, confused as to why she had suddenly shrank down. Then he also heard the woman's name, and he suddenly turned into a little bat and flew on top of a shelving unit.

"Ugh.. Heh, yeah I'm fine. I don't seem to be bleeding or anything." The elevator shook for a second time, causing both of them to fall back to the floor. This time, her glasses slipped off her face. Luckily, the lens did not break. "Agh... my glasses.. can't see..." Without her glasses, Ikue was helpless. Her vision was quite poor, and she was near-sighted, not being able to see from a distance.. The farthest she can see was probably 5 to 6 inches away from her face. Realizing she was still in Bertram's arms, Ikue didn't know whether to move or to stay still, but.. it was kind of comfortable. She went silent.
