[I kept my gaze straight ahead, keeping a look out for prey or anything unusual, as Fadingpaw responded to my question. I gave a slight nod, pleased with my apprentice]
"Good job, Fadingpaw. You seem well informed. That's one of the best things you can be. Always know whatever you can about the other Clans, it may come to your advantage one day"
[I was referring to a war, but I did so with a slight shudder. I hated fighting against the other Clans, I had friends within their borders, but I did what I had to to protect the Clan I grew up with and loved so much. Pushing away the thoughts, I sniffed the air, taking in the scents of melting snow, and new growth, and the hints of prey. Looking down at Fadingpaw, my brown eyes bright, I tilted my head to the side]
"What do you smell? We may be able to hunt on the way"

I waited patiently, tail twitching, until I noticed Lustrepaw suddenly spring away from Silverstar. I jumped to my feet, eyes wide, and growled to myself. You idiot, don't do that in front of Silverstar-!
But she had already pinned him down. I purred in amusement at the apprentice's blunder. I sat down on my haunches again, watching with more interest as they exchanged words. As Silverstar left, I padded up to him.]
"Whoa, what happened there?" I asked teasingly with mocked worry. "I could have sworn I saw her rip some fur off! How much did she take?"

Fine, he knew he wasn't supposed to scratch Thunderflight's whiskers off, but he HATED her! Silverstar wasn't as scary as she described it, in fact she wasn't scary at all! The young apprentice nodded to himself approvingly, feeling like he was a hero who survived a battle with a monstrous beast. At that moment, he saw Thunderflight pad up to him and started sniffing all over his pelt, as though checking him for injuries. Rip some fur off? Of course he did! When she pinned him down, at least four strands of his precious fur was torn off! He growled angrily as he whirled around, smacking at Thunderflight's muzzle with sheathed claws.]
"I hate you! You said Silverstar would be really mean and scary, and I nearly got sent to elder's duties because I ran away!"
[He pouted as he growled at Thunderflight, pawing at her paws absently as he spoke. Just in case, he glanced out of the corner of his eyes to make sure Silverstar wasn't watching. If she saw him "attacking" Thunderflight, she might just stop him from ever becoming a warrior...] ✘X☼X✘XX

Firestorm dipped his head as his leader approached him.
His ears flicked in response. He stretched, his back arching and his claws
flexing. He then rose to his normal posture, his muscles rippling as he did
so. He poked his head quickly into the medicine cats den and called a
farewell to his sister. He then padded over to Featherheart and Oaktail. He
flicked his tail in greeting to the two. "Hey, Silverstar asked to patrol
Breezeclan borders. My apprentice, Dawnpaw will be joining us. I'll meet
you two by the entrance when your ready." He said to the two. He
padded over to the camp entrance and sat by it, waiting for his patrol to
gather.

[As I soothed down his embarrassment, I licked him between the ears comfortingly.]
"You did good," I praised cheerfully. Peeping around, I whispered to him mischeviously, "Though we'll have to warn Whisperblade if he crosses the territory again, won't we?"
[I chuckled, leaning back and blinking happily. Lustrepaw could be an idiot, but he was fun to be around. His innocence was a nice release from the gloomy and boring leafbare days. I brushed my pelt against his happily, wondering when the snow would finally melt.]

[Lustrepaw said indignantly as he tried to defend himself, a scowl forming on his face. His drooping ears slowly pricked up as Thunderflight licked him between the ears, though the deep scowl was still prominent on his face. He wasn't going to forgive Thunderflight that easily!]
"Oh yeah we have to warn Whisperblade! I don't want him to be caught by Silverstar!"
[He meowed in horror as an exaggerated image formed in his head. A giant, evil and cackling Silverstar was pinning down a hapless Whisperblade, taking him prisoner and leaving him to starve. The look of horror still stuck on his face as he leaned in closer to rub his cheek against Thunderflight's chest fur, partly because he was worried for Whisperblade (although he shouldn't be), and partly because he was cold.
"Oh yeah, the moon's full tonight so that means a Gathering right? When is Silverstar going to announce who's going? Will I get to go?"
[He asked worriedly, thinking of his run-in with Silverstar just now. Gathering? He could probably dream about it this time.] ✘X☼X✘XX

"She'd hafta catch him first. Something tells me he's good at stealth, so he should be safe as long as he keeps a low profile and stays away from the Clan."
[Worry crossed my face though. How would he know to stay away from the Clan? Despite having been a former Clan cat, he seemed too friendly with Lusterpaw and me. Perhaps he thought it was okay to just drop by and see us. He was a bit disillusioned, after all. He would only be stumbling into danger. My mind wandered about, wondering what we should do.]
In regards to his immediate next question (he was firing questions like a divebombing bluejaw attacking her predator to save her chicks!), I mewed absentmindedly, "She'll let you go, since you told the truth. Her mind racing, Silverstar suddenly leapt forward an galloped onto the Fernhill. ]
"Cats of StormClan! It is high time we head to the Gathering! Thunderflight, Firestorm, Skywhisker, Oaktail, and Featherheart! Lustrepaw and Dawnpaw! Come, we must be on our way! We shan't be late- that is SeaClan's specialty!" Silverstar yowled, an amused yet determined gleam in her gaze.
[ Leaping down from the now snow covered hill, Silverstar ruffled her pelt against the wind and nodded to the patrol around her. Once Cindermoon was by her side and Moonblaze was behind the pair, Silverstar flicked her tail towrd the entrance. Scanning the camp once more, Silverstar nodded once and then shot out of the camp entrance, her tail streaming behind her. Slowing down, Silverstar slowly and carefully galloped over patches of snow, leaping tall banks and wide patches of ice. She met her deputy's pace, keeping an eye on her. Silverstar knew Cindermoon was capable of being the best deputy there ever was, but sometimes, in her blindness, Silverstar worried. Checking her pace, Silverstar slowed as they neared the SeaClan border. Keeping within two foxlengths of the lakeshore, Silverstar led her patrol onto the Gathering, the moon shining favoringly above them. ]

- ._. When's the last time I posted as her? April? O: I saw Princess and the Frog and wanted to make a cat with a Creole accent. Fo' sho' -
[Barkwind made a weird rushing noise through her cheeks. It was just a stress reliever. You'd start out by filling your mouth with as much air as it could hold, then start slowly cracking open your mouth, until it came out in a weird sort of *thbbbht* sound. Her silver eyes blinked with boredom, and she couldn't help but heave a sigh as she sat there, supposedly 'guarding the camp' until the clans returned from the gathering.]
['Of course' She mused with a hint of bitterness, 'I wonder what I'd do if there was really an ambush.' With just the thought of amusing herself on this completely tedious role, Barkwind began stretching out her neck and surveying the camp. 'Oh look!' She chided with false happiness to herself and eying a slightly large crevice, big enough to maybe fit a grown cat inside. 'There's a perfect place to hide! And... And...' A small, crooked smile was growing on the tip of her mouth and she continued to amuse herself, her head going up, down, and slantways, and crossways, looking for places that she would supposedly go to selfishly hide if there was an ambush.]
