After a moment, Jack could hear the chanting. Setting Oomizu down gently, he walked over to peer out the window. "...What's going on, down there...?"
"...Well, things certainly seem to have gotten a lot more lively in a short amount of time," Kain commented, a little bemused.

"That does seem to be the case," Rigardo said, wondering what could have happened to start it.
Raven opened her eyes after hearing the chanting. She stood up and let her feet touch the roof of the hospital. Looking down, she saw the group of people who disturbed her.

Marta smiled when she heard the mob chanting. "Hey Emil, do you think we should go see what that's al about?"
Starfire heard the chanting and flew up, seeing the mob. "What could that be about..."
Pirogoeth stood at the edge of the mob, looking on boredly. She turned to a nearby man and cleared her throat. "Hey, what is this all about? Has something happened here and now there's a riot?"
Oomizu followed Jack to the window, holding her fox cub to her.

a shot rang out as one of the protesters fell to the ground dead. the crowd got louder as they hurled rocks and flaming cocktails at the factory. another shot rang out followed by several more, before long a battlefield erupted as the protestors brought guns and fired back.
"Im not liking this... we are caught in the middle of a battle now" Lloyd said

"Ho, shi-" Jack began, but stopped before he actually swore. Looking around and thinking quickly, he grabbed the tray that he had tossed the clipboard onto earlier, then jammed it up against the window. Not that it would provide much protection, but it was still better than just glass. Having a second to think a little more clearly, he pulled the tray down, called for his Jack-Bots (who both dutifully flew in), then put it back. "We should be safe in here, Oomizu, don't you worry!" he assured his goddaughter.
"Well, this is certainly taking a turn for the worse," Kain commented. Although, in the confusion, he could probably pick off a few of the crowd down here for a quick meal...

Tomomi looked around and saw one of the men get shot. She tried to back away, but failed. When rocks started to get thrown, her fear grew. She ducked down low and pushed her way through. She did not like the sound of the guns being fired as she covered her ears. Someone stepped on her dress making her trip, which end up to be a good thing as she was almost hit. She pulled her dress free and finally escaped the battle grounds.

Nina's head began to fill with noise, slowly pulling her out of her sleep. Her eyes opened as she turned her head towards the window as if she would be able to see what was going on. Instead, she saw the back of Jack and Oomizu's head. She spoke softly, but clearly, remembering her promise to herself to not stutter for Jack's sake. And for Oomizu's sake now that she thought about it. But then there was the gunshot, and Jack went to protecting them. There. Proof that he wanted not to hurt her, but protect her. "What's going on?"
Jessie saw the crowd herself, but she didn't want to be pulled in herself. So she just hung back, back against a building as Arbok looked on. The pokemon was preparing to defend its trainer, and itself. She saw the man get shot and pulled back further into the shadows.

Pirogoeth saw a girl in there that looked like she was trying to escape and followed after her. "Are you alright?" A few bullents hit her armor, but bounced back. She got lucky that time.
Marta heard the gun shots. "That can't be good. Come on! We need to find the others! We have to stop this fight!"
Starfire gasped seeing what was going on. "We must stop this fighting!"
Oomizu looked to Jack and nodded.

Jack turned when he heard Nina's voice, and smiled a little in spite of himself. "Don't really know, but there are a lot of people outside. Looks like some sort of violent protest, or riot, or something else along those lines..." he answered, truthfully. "By the way, good afternoon."

Nina looked at Jack, her eyes matching his once again for a few seconds before averting just a little. The smile... it made her feel a little better, and she offered a small smile back herself. Hopefully, this one was better than the last. Then what he said hit her, it was afternoon, she had slept through the day, she never slept in... it just... wasn't her. And then the riot... "Should we go help the others? Do they need help?" She asked.

Tomomi looked up at at the girl in armor. "I... I'm okay." Phyically she was fine, but her mind was surrounded by fear and panic. She took steps twords the girl be careful not to cause any thing unwanted to happen.

Jack thought about it; he really did. It's just, for him, thinking things through usually takes microseconds. "No," he answered. "Our guys, they're all tough, and they do a pretty good job of making sure they know where one another is, even if they don't get along. Us three, we should stay right here. Oomizu doesn't need to be out there in that, I can hear guns. You don't need to be out there in that, you're still recovering. An' there's no way I can go out there and leave you two behind. So, we'll wait it out. All three - er - five of us, including the Jack-Bots." He did notice that Nina still seemed to be nervous, or scared, or whatever you wanted to call it, but he really couldn't expect anything else at this moment. "You need anything? Like, food, drink, a place to go to the bathroom?"

Nina listened to him explain why they didn't need to be in the center of the riot. When he asked if there was anything that she needed. She hadn't eaten in a while, but how could she? How could she possibly eat during the riot and with everything that had gone on? "Nina's okay for now...." But then she registered what he said about her still recovering, she was fine... She wouldn't hold everyone back, "Nina's fine," she said.

"A-alright, well, then... Um..." Jack began, quickly trying to think up another excuse as to why Nina should stay inside. "W-we could protect the sick and injured here!" he suggested. "Wouldn't want anybody trying to attack a hospital during this confusion! ...Right...?" In all honesty, he just really did not want Nina to go back out into danger this soon after almost losing her...
