(Man I miss riding. I haven't been around in a horse in years. Makes me sad that I love 'em so much and I haven't rode in so long. I want to get back on English. I used to own a horse until financial complications and a mysterious and very unwanted siring caused my family to sell her. My precious little thing. Poo, I'm making myself depressed.) I rode for a year before my trainer abandoned us by leaving too far from where I lived (for no good reason, really). I rode Western, and though the horse I rode wasn't mine, I loved her all the same. [I took a sharp inhale of breath, my sky blue eyes widening then narrowing again. I stared at Lustrepaw for a few more moments as he spoke and warmed up slightly at Whisperblade's message, but cut the emotion off immediatey.]
Shaking my head, I said in a scolding voice, "Lustrepaw, are you crazy? You met a rogue in the territory and didn't tell anyone? That's treachery! I oughta tell Silverstar what you did! We don't know who he is, or what business he has passing through StormClan! I mean, the first time he came through, he was injured-but he can't just come around here as if he owns this territory! We've got a Clan to feed, and it's leafbare. Don't you think it's a bit reckless to not at least report a rogue to someone?"
[With a worried look, I glanced him over, sniffing his pelt some more.]
"He didn't hurt you, did he?" I asked swiftly, blinking and sniffing his head. "You acted funny when you bumped your head."
[I licked his head gently, worry encompassing me. I really didn't have much business poking my nose in Lustrepaw's business, but the safety of my clanmates was very vital to me.
Plus, Whisperblade had passed through again. What could that mean? How come he was hanging around StormClan territory? His 'love' was from NightClan! The thought troubled me deeply. I couldn't think of any other reason for him to be near the Clan...
...except for me.
Quickly, I pushed the thought aside. It's not all about you, Thunderflight, I scolded myself. But the thought still burned in my brain. Why? Why was he here, again?
Then, a second thought struck me.
His whole story of falling into the river was sketchy. A knowledgeable she-cat wouldn't hang around the river for no reason, and Whisperblade seemed to be a sketchy cat himself (and sketchy cats always hung around sketchy people). It was possible that there was more to Thunderclaw than the tom mentioned, or even knew. And, if he was in StormClan territory, it could mean...
...she was here too!
My heart skipped a beat. Two rouges in StormClan territory? What if they were eating prey? My eyes darted over to the small pile of prey in camp, narrowing my eyes. I glanced over my clanmates, studying their pelts. We were all lean with muscles, but definitely skinnier than I'd like. The kittens were uncomfortably bony, as well.
Realizing I was getting distracted, I looked back to Lustrepaw, waiting a bit impatiently for his answer. When she finished, he was staring fixedly at her paws - if he was a twoleg, he would be on the verge of crying.
"B-But he was really nice! And he wasn't in Stormclan territory, he was only at the border! Plus, he helped me catch the squirrel and didn't take any prey for himself! He looked really skinny too..."
[His voice trailed off when Thunderflight started sniffing at his head, flinching when she touched the tender spot where he had bumped his head.]
"No, he didn't hurt me...I, uh, felloffatree. WhenItriedtocatchthesquirrel. I kind of, uh, fell onto him."

Tilting my head, I asked half-irritated, half-amused, "How did you fall on him if he was on the border? That either means he or you crossed it."
[I let out a sigh, a troubled look crossing my face before I looked back at him.]
"I'm just worried is all, Lustrepaw. " I said in a kinder voice, relazing and sitting on my haunches. "You should be more cautious...anyway, you had a chat with him, did you?"

I told him no, but there's a cat called Thunderflight in Stormclan! So he said you looked very beautiful as well."
[Lustrepaw rambled on and on about his meeting with the stranger from the shadows, nodding as he went along as though he was saying something very wise.]

(( @Zann: Geez, go all judgemental on me! xDD Rofl, just kidding. But yeah, after seven years, it's definitely different. . . But I'm starting with just the flatwork, then jumping. Cross country and show jumping! 8D I'm not so sure about dressage, because my horse is kind of rough. But my drill team coach is giving me lessons, and I have to admit, it IS kind of hard to see myself in a dressage get up after so many years of boots, jeans, and hats. . . xD Oh, and you can't forget the beltbuckles. xD
@Time: Aww! I'd hate to have that happen to me. I've had my horse, Gidget, for five years, but I still miss my first horse, Casper, dearly. I learned to ride on him, and we ended up putting him down two years after I got him, because he was just so old. But less than a week later, my dad's horse was put down because of a tumor beneath her eye, blocking her airways. It was really sad, and I still miss them so much. <3

Ravenkit leapt back on her paws. Come to think of it, she was kinda sleepy. "Yeah..." she yawned, and padded back to the nursey. She lay down beside Rustkit and fell asleep.

[ Citruskit felt glad. She had an itch to fall asleep too, but she felt too.. hyper. ]
Maybe some fresh-kill will make me feel fat and go to sleep.
[ Citruskit grabbed the smallest mouse she could find-- to her it was like the biggest mouse. For some reason she didnt have the best appetite. ]
Perfect.
[ Citruskit laid down, in a nice grassy patch, and took a bite out of her mouse. She pretended she was a kittypet, and rolled onto her back. ]

Ravenkit opened one eye slightly, and spotted Citruskit across the clearing, on her back. There was a half-eaten mouse in front of her, and Ravenkit guessed she just wanted some time to herself. She yawned again, and settled down to sleep.
