Terara Drakon Owwin Terara Drakon Owwin Terara Drakon I feel like an idiot right now. Why? Something bad goin on? Enlighten us. If you want to that is. Rough draft of an essay for To Kill A Mockingbird is due tomorrow. I have to go to bed in three minutes. I just finished reading the book not even five minutes ago. Would an outline be okay? I don't know what to say. Blah blah blah coming of age blah blah blah boo radley and you have it. I have to write it on the rite of passages Jem, Scout and Dill go through. I don't even know what that MEANS. Well You gotta show their transition onto adulthood. Each of them had something that really effected them and made them grow.

Especially for Dill. He wants to marry Scout, he busts the coke dude, he learns to swim, he runs from home. WAIT, is it when he runs from home?

That's the EXACT same question they gave me.
Scout obviously grows from a naive, reckless character to a thoughtful young lady as she learns about the world's dangers and injustices; that's easy, that's the theme of the book.
Jem breaks his arm and has to adapt his active lifestyle accordingly; he learns to control his temper and think things through.
Dill.. I don't remember him too much. He was a c**t scab, that's about it.

Same question, different book and characters. Same book. To Kill A Mockingbird is more or less a mandatory read in the North American school system.
