Maggie giggled, her eyes twinkled. No wonder Lin looked so fond of Marcos. He wasn't just good looking. He was incredibly suave and sexy, making the knees weak of every girl around him. And his eyes were shiny!
She cocked her hips and reached up, placing her hand over Marcos's. "Don't you think that just adds to the image? A mysterious no-name gypsy-like fairy, who comes bearing great energy and the fragrance of flowers? Eh? Ehhhhh?" Maggie paused, and shook her head, grinning. "Whoever she is, she isn't me at all. I'm Maggie, Queen of Detention. I've got a file as long as Professor Akakios's hair." This was, quite possibly, the truth. The Headmaster had already been forced to break up her file into portions, in order for it to fit in the filing cabinet properly.

((Boom, the party is basically a quick thing that Cuwen came up with to get both Lin and Dymetri back into the original roleplay and out of their little romance. We need them to interact and using Dymetri's new student thing was a perfect idea.))
His brows lifted, impressed. When she revealed Professor Akakios, the name didn't ring a large bell. He rarely paid attention to his coworkers when he taught at Mystic Fountain. In fact, the only reason why he slightly recognized the name was due to Lin. The memory quickly faded when he took notice of the hand upon his own. "Well then, Maggie," he twisted his hand so that he was holding hers, "It's my pleasure to meet the queen." He bent, giving her a small, polite kiss on the back of her palm. Straightened, he spared a glance at Lin. It wasn't terrible, being apart from her, even if it was only meters. She was socializing with a girl who had detached herself from the party. Good; no one is spoiling this party with their lack of social skills, he thought.

Near the shore, the water suddenly began to stir as bubbles broke the surface. With little warning a figure suddenly burst forth with a massive gasp for air, clawing towards the shore. As its feet finally touched the bottom, it began pulling the mud and vegetation from itself, revealing Riser in all his...glory? The moment he managed to pull himself from the water he began to expel an extraordinary amount of liquid from his lungs.
His breath finally caught, he managed to shakily rise to his feet, before looking around and finding himself in the company of others. Stumbling towards the festivities, he managed to make a small address to those around him.
"Where the hell am I...How long has it been?"

{{Ah... But I do have another character. lol.}}
It was a good thing that most individuals at the party were heavily involved in their own conversations for the time being. Otherwise, they would have noticed that Lin Yin was in two places at the same time, or so it appeared. The original Lin was still standing at a nearby tree, talking with a new arrival.
Quite a distance away, her clone was gliding down the hill toward the party. She had heard about the party from other students passing by. She had wondered why she had not received an invitation, but then she remembered that there was no longer just one of her. The original probably received the invitation first, the only invitation made for Lin Yin.
As she walked down the hill, a soft smile graced her face. The one person she was hoping to see here was Ambrose. She had not seen him for a time, and she missed him dearly. She hoped he had received in an invitation to the party as well and was either here right now or was arriving soon.
As Lin neared the lake, her heart seized slightly and she gasped softly. Suddenly, a figure burst forth from the surface of the lake. Her pendant, which had also been cloned from the original, flashed and quickly formed a water barrier around her. She recognized that massive dark energy. Oddly enough, though, the darkness did not seem as encompassing or powerful as it had in the past. It almost seemed weaker.
His name was Riser, correct?

Looking up, he saw the same Elf girl he had accidentally terrorized on several prior occasions. But, the more he began to look at her, the faster he realized that he was looking at an extremely precise copy of the original. It wasn't anything notable to anyone else, but he could see tiny differences in how she carried herself, as well as differences in her microscopic facial twitches that may as well have been screaming that she was a fake.
"The last thing I remember...I was falling, and then everything blurs until I woke up at the bottom of the lake. So...you don't seem as terrified as the last time we met." He said, somewhat awkwardly trying to avoid blurting out that he knew she was not actually Lin.

{{FINALLY someone recognized she wasn't a clone! lol! Not even Ophi did.}}
{{And Woonren, just create another character and bring it on in here to the party! biggrin If you want to, of course.}}
Lin raised her chin slightly and grasped her pendant to make sure that Riser saw it, as if he couldn't see the water barrier around her. However, Riser seemed rather different right now. He seemed genuinely confused and nonthreatening. It was quite shocking.
She arched a perfect eyebrow at him and then spoke softly. "You, too, do not seem the same. You have less of a threatening aura around you, though I still do not trust you one ounce. Your darkness isn't weakening me since it is so much weaker itself. That is why I do not seem terrified of you, because I am not."
"And with the type of seedy activities I am sure you get yourself into, it is no surprise that you have finally found yourself confused and at a loss of memory. You interact with darkness and evil and you are bound to suffer very negative consequences."

Dymetri shifted quickly, facing the figure who had burst into his party. He heard small shrieks by those easily startled and sharp intakes of breath by those he quickly deemed to have had a taste of a conflict.
"Stranger, you interrupt an exclusive gathering.." he trailed off. And then he looked at the man closer. He watched where his eyes met another's and stood still from shock. He was speaking to Lin.
Dymetri glanced back at the area he'd last seen Lin. She was still there, wearing the same clothes he remembered she'd wore.
His movement was quick, you needn't not blink if you wanted an attempt to see him take a step. And then he was next to Lin, next to the Lin by the tree.
He clasped both her arms tightly and growled into her ear, unaware if she were the decoy or not, or if she knew at all what was happening, or if this was an unspoken party trick of hers. "Explain quickly and swiftly if you are aware of what the hell is going on."
His eyes remained on Riser, knowing fully well that this party had just been spoiled, but still without the knowledge of why. And this lack of knowledge is what frustrated him the most.
Oh, finally! A vampire to save me! You goddamn idiot, that is not a vampire. I recognize him from a time long ago. He is capable of much more than what a vampire can do. Doesn't look it to me.
Dymetri's gaze never left Riser's person, and in this short time he noticed just how fragile his demeanor seemed. The idiot was right. This man didn't look capable of conquering anything, he seemed to need much more care in conquering his own mind.
He listened to one Lin's words and found himself tightening on the other Lin's arms. They spoke the same, each had the same fiery passion in their eyes, but different forms of passion. Twins?

Lin, the one by the tree, had immediately put up her shield of water from her pendant when she felt a dark presence nearby, right before Riser broke through the lake's surface. Other trees happened to block her view of her clone, so she didn't see her. That made Dymetri's actions seem even odder and, frankly, more frightening.
Dymetri was able to get through the water barrier because the pendant did not perceive him as a threat. Hell, he had a pendant of his own around his neck. So, the barrier let him in instantly.
When Dymetri suddenly grasped Lin's arms and hissed in her ear, her eyes went wide with confusion and a little bit of fear. Her voice was filled with both as well when she spoke.
"Dymetri?! What on earth are you talking about?! You're scaring me."
She winced as his grip seemed to tighten. "And you're hurting me!"

Gripping his abdomen with his left hand, he watched as the same vampire he had seen wandering the campus at night flashed into view, bickering with the Elf girl about Riser's arrival. Squeezing his hand, he felt something wasn't right. "Wait..." he managed to mutter as his mind began swirling again. "Just...Wait..."
With a bit of will his fingertips shaped themselves into claws, and he slowly tore away the cloth that separated his hand from his stomach. Looking down, he came to the realization that his fingers had been correct; before him were three massive square puncture wounds, each about six inches apart. "I remember now...not much, but there was someone there...some huge dark figure that hit me before I could react..."
He ripped the tattered remains of his coat off and threw them in the water, his veins and muscles bulging as he began to snap joints and bones back into their proper place. "They must have thought they killed me, and then threw my body in the lake. They clearly didn't know who they were dealing with."

Kami-Kahzy A small shiver visibly ran up Alec's spine when he began to think about what Danni had in mind for her own wheels. "I shudder to think what you want to have for your car. Hopefully it's not My Chemical Romance on wheels. ...God I hope it's not that. I mean, I know we want to win, but let's do it with some class. I think we can manage that, can't we?" ((Bringing this up))

Dymetri inhaled to calm himself. "Who do you suppose the man in the middle of our party is speaking to? Whomever she is, she looks exactly like you. Is there something you've refrained from letting me know, Lin?" His grip on her loosened slightly when he was made aware of how tight he was holding onto her.
