  Byakuran Usotsuki Lv. 8 Experience: 26/450 Hp: 47 hp Cp: 104 cp MHp: 96 Dodge Bonus: 18 Stealth: 7+6=13 Roll: 20 (auto success) Byakuran crept into the library, his breath quieted as swept about the walls via chakra control, searching for his intended target. from the chaos at the entrance it seemed that his guess had been right on the mark. The Fire Daimyo wasn't a Ninja village, the most he probably had besides his own freshly trained soldiers in the ninja arts were missing Nin, and their knowledge was sometimes spotty at best. What he and his forces lacked was information...the teachings of powerful Jutsu... and that was what they were after through this whole charade... his opponent earlier had given away far more then he'd intented...of course, the same could be said of himself... he couldn't allow his foe to leave this building alive... Sticking to the dusty shadows of the shelves, he finally happened upon his target...he was in luck. It was his previous adversary after all, and by the look of it he had a civilian with him...that could work to his advantage... He was absolutely silent as he put them in his sights, his fingers working through hand signs as his newly bolstered chakra began to form itself into a jutsu...the jutsu that he had been intending to use earlier. This time however, the advantage was his... and this technique would ensure that his target wouldn't escape... (1 roll left) Suiton: Mizuame Nabara (Water Release: Syrup Capture Field) Using this technique, the user can spit a stream of extremely sticky syrup that covers the ground and holds opponents in place. Any ninja capable of walking on water can avoid being stuck in the syrup, but needs to do so before being caught. Cp cost: 30 Dice Rolls: 3 Damage: N/A Awareness DC: 12 + sneak attack + 2 per 10 ranks in Ninjutsu Reflex DC: 12 + chk mod + 2 per 10 ranks in Ninjutsu Escape Artist DC: 12 + chk mod + 2 per 10 ranks in Ninjutsu Requirements: Water Affinity, Chakra Control 16, Ninjutsu 14 Training: 3 stages Stage I: Chakra Control DC 26 Generating syrup from water inside the user's mouth. Stage II: Chakra Control DC 28 Controlling the spread of the syrup. Stage III: Ninjutsu DC 24 Increasing stickiness of the syrup to maximum viscosity. Special: Renders victim immobile for [chk mod] number of turns. Victim can only attack using long-ranged attacks or techniques. If used as a sneak attack, user must roll and pass an awareness check before his reflex DC. If he fails Awareness Check, target cannot dodge the technique.

At least that was her plan, she didn't really care for what Shinzu had planned. It wasn't like they had stopped to make plans on the way over here from the village.

They were nearly done copying this scroll, then it was easy street and out the door from there. She got on the radio and said, "Kim, head towards the library, its time to wrap up." A man's voice came back through, "Roger, be there in five." She looked at Jin and said, "Last one, once we get done, I'll leave with Kimya, you find Miroko and tell him we have completed the mission. Once Kimya and I meet up with Fai Lang, I'll go with Fai lang and Hirojo, back to th Daiymo." Jin nodded as he skimmed over the next, and final jutsu.

The vibrations in this room...he could just faintly detect it but... he cursed slightly internally. It seemed like there was someone here after all, besides his opponents. He couldn't risk using his Kekke Genkai under those circumstances. True, there was little chance in them knowing who he was from an invisible jutsu, but the minor vibration was not something that one could use when allies were in the vicinity without causing collateral damage...it wasn't something he could risk... he'd have to do this the old fashioned way. He wasn't all that skilled with his bow, and he intended to replace it as his weapon soon enough, but for now it was all he had... the minor vibration would be a last resort... hopefully all he would need to do was prevent his foe from escaping, and his hidden ally, hopefully, would be able to handle the rest... Byakuran suddenly inhaled deeply, his chakra swelling within his throat as the familiar feel of water welling up within it built up as well. With a sudden jerk forward, his hands fixed in the final hand sign, Byakuran shot forth a deluge of thick, clear syrup, the comical manner of the jutsu when taken out of context making it seem as though he was spitting out an inordinate amount of saliva. The Water flew through the air, targeting Jin, intent to make sure that he wasn't given the option of escape this time. As soon as he had let the end of his jutsu fly, he formed another hand seal, his form briefly flickering with chakra and smoke as suddenly six of him stood where one had been, his expression set into a rather devil may care smile. "I realize that it's ruthlessly bad form to repay sparing my life with evil...but then..." all of his clones adapted the same smirk as they drew the bow behind them. "well, the answer as to why I can't let you live should be obvious... please don't think too ill of me." his tone was almost light and jesting. Candice looked up at the one shinobi attacking, saw his clones and looked back, grabbing the scroll and moving it out of the line of fire she shouted at Jin. "Watch out for his spit attack!"(+2 to Jin's Awareness) She then added, "Hurry up and take care of this guy. I'll finish the scroll." With that she grabbed the scroll and read the final jutsu. She would have read and written, and it would have probably gone faster, but she was lazy. With the final stroke of her pen she rolled up the scroll and put it inside of her scroll case. Then she took out another scroll as she prepared for her next move.

Shinzu looked over quickly when he saw something spit out at the people copying the scrolls. He saw a young Genin using a jutsu, the damned fool! He was going to ruin half of scrolls in the area! The only way to solve this would be Shinzu's favorite way, hand to hand. Standing up for a brief second, Shinzu launched himself at the one giving orders (Candy). "Dynamic Entry!" He yelled as he flew at her, one leg out, and the other ready to perform a backspin kick. Unfortunately his fancy spin missed, but the punch that came up behind it, didn't.

Masaraku dropped the mist and went with Shinzu's idea. She leaped out at female, giving her a slash at the waist and hitting her square in the stomach. Her sword gutted through the girl, creating a massive wound as it tore out, spraying blood everywhere. Then Masaraku swung her sword around in a wide arc over to the other guy, missing him by a few inches, she carried the momentum through and back towards the girl, who dodged her attack this time. She smiled as blood cascaded against her face. Her sword was still filled with chakra from the mission and dealing out heavy damage.
((Her sword was at 52 before, I'll say it is down to 40 cp now))

Batsu was training in the grove and could not help but overhear the commotion in the library. It must have meant that the bandits crept into the targeted place and he confirmed it when he crept in and saw the bandits rummaging through the books. So Batsu kept cover near the entrance of the library doors. That way it would be hard for them to make their escape. With bow in hand, the boy was ready to strike.

Hiru was surprised at how quickly hostilities declared themselves. Clearly, he had simply stumbled on something that had been brewing for quite a while. Still, seeing the savageness with which his clansmate had assaulted one of the copiers reassured him in their abilities to take care of themselves. He'd keep a watchful eye on the situation nevertheless. It would indeed seem tactically unsound for shinobis of this caliber to undergo a mission alone. There was most likely someone overseeing the operation, it could be someone pulling strings from afar but maybe also someone a bit too close for comfort.

Just in case things escalated, Hiru thought it wise to prepare a second point of view to keep an eye on everyone, either from Kiri or anywhere else. His long stay in the Coll Springs hadn't changed him at all: if he could prevent casualties, he'd do his best to do so, no matter the side. Very silentely, he made a few hand signs and a delicate stream of sticky syrup dripped from his mouth that slowly took the form of an identical clone, sticking to the ceiling right next to him.

A large man, roughly seven feet tall, with long shaggy hair arrived at the door. The cavalry had arrived. He looked out at the battlefield before him and punched at the first man, a small one with a bow, tossing him to the side with a heavy swipe as he entered the library. Next came a blue boy ... two blue boys. Kimya swatted at the clone, but hit a bookshelf, creating a domino effect as they toppled over. Next he punched at the real blue boy, knocking him away and moving towards his teammates. Three targets left to take out, boy on shelves, Blue girl, and tiny man with no weapon. "Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa." He screamed in a bloodied rage.

Jin saw the attack just in time thanks to Candy, but he saw it just in time for it to hit him. As the goo covered his body he looked up at the kid who he had attacked earlier and said, "Do you hear that behind you? Thats Kimya. Even if you kill me, you've got him and Candy to deal with. My missions over, I did what I had to do. You didn't stop us in time." He paused as he drew a kunai from his belt. "You failed again." Knowing that this could be his last attack in his lifetime, he chose not to waste it on what would possibly hit a clone, instead he threw it at the martial artist who had chosen to beat up on Candy. If she made it out to Moroko, everything would be fine. He took the kunai and threw it at the kid, it sank into his lower back, to the left of his spine, and it sank in deep. Jin smiled, "That was for Hirojo." He winked at Candy as he drew another kunai.
