xxxxx「 I am who I am because... 」 ⊰Charming⊱Lori has a very relaxed and warming personality. It seems people are attracted to her naturally and she finds it easy to get along with others. She isn't quick to judge others and for the most part she's just a likable sweet heart. ⊰Passionate⊱When it comes to her classes, sports, drawings, and the like Lori is very passionate about them. She takes her time with everything and puts her utmost effort into her hobbies and goals. While she is passionate about material thins and her goals in life, she isn't quite as passionate in terms of other Nightmares. She loves her brother dearly, but finds it difficult to show the same love to others. Yes, she's sweet and kind, but actually putting her trust in someone? Eh. ⊰Expressive⊱Lori has a way of visualizing things that will captivate others. Did you need to express a certain emotion in a piece of art work or perhaps in a dance? Lori is your go-to nightmare for these sort of tasks. She can be very expressive, even if she's not going to tell you what's really going on in that head of hers.
⊰Competitive⊱When it comes to things Lori is good at, she can get awfully competitive about them. Dancing, design, soccer, track, and etc. Only to name a few things. She can get upset when she losses, especially if she feels she worked harder than the winner to obtain the 'win'. She could easily find herself a rival in very aspects of her life. She's never been violent before after a loss, but she'd been known to give someone the silent treatment. ⊰Private⊱Lori really only depends on one other person, Bailey. She doesn't like it when people try to step into her private bubble and she absolutely hates answering personal questions. She needs her alone time to focus on her craft and she likes to jog on her own. ⊰Easily Stressed⊱Deadlines are a problem for her. She needs time to be creative and thus, she can easily become stressed. If she can't get the alone time she's craving it can begin to weigh her down.

xxxxxx「 Freshling Years - The current story. 」 ✿To understand Lori and Bailey's past, you should first know a bit about their parents. Their farther was a prominent member of an aristocratic clan, Dragonglass. Like many Chimera it was arranged that he would marry into another aristocratic clan. Their father, Briam, couldn't find it in his heart to love this individual, however the other Chimera seemed to be quite passionate for him and would go through great lengths to attempt to prove their love.The twins mother was a member of a lower clan, without a Representative Rani of their own. In fact, Lainy was a Chimera that had been woken from the Cashe and later adopted into the Obsidian clan when she graduated from Leviathan University and rejoined her race among the Scepters in Boreas. Her ideals about the others races didn't win her a place in one of the larger clans, but she was welcome into the considerably small and new Obsidian clan due to her ability to work fire magic to create lovely glass pieces. Her work would eventually catch the interest of Briam and the two of them would start their courtship. There would be a bit of a big dispute with Briam and his arranged partner, while it wasn't exactly frowned upon to find a lover outside of your arranged marriage, his promised partner had become attached. Perhaps too much. Briam would leave the Dragonglass Clan, and join the Obsidian Clan with his wife.
Both being particularly skilled with Fire magic, Briam would join Lainy in her glassworking shop and the two were genuinely happy together. They would imbue a soulstone and be surprised when it awakened into twins, whom were quickly named Lori and Bailey. The couple was ecstatic to be raising two lovely twins together. There was a celebration when the twins were awakened, after all the Obsidian Clan was small and they were happy to be welcoming new clan members. The happy family spent five years together before disaster struck. No one really knows what caused the cave in, some people might suspect the Clan in which his previous 'fiancee' belonged. However, there is no way to prove that what happened was anymore than an accident. Lainy was with her kids when the cave in happened and through a spontaneous use of magic she managed to protect them from the debris, but perished herself, along with a majority of the Obsidian clan.
With the Obsidian clan nearly wiped out, they didn't have the means to care for the twins. They sought the help of the Dragonglass, but they waned little to do with the children themselves. With little choice, they sent the kids off to Asphodel Academy, where their mother had grown up.
