"You're a genius with the chickens!" Joy breathed in awe as the massive flock this particularly pretty Knight Apprentice commanded. The brunette dashed into the fray, halberd at the ready and swinging despite having little to no knowledge of the way to wield it. Not to mentioned an injured arm.
With a stroke of luck, the blade of her weapon struck the dragon's talon on the ramparts, causing it to flinch and roar angrily. Joy winced, about to fall back when she heard above the din, "Go now!"
She turned to find Percival was by her and then under her as she jumped onto the proffered foot-hold. With his help, she managed to make it onto the dragon's head.

Joy heard the beating of mighty wings, like a flock of angels guiding her to her target. She glimpsed from the corner of her eye white feathers in the wind. How could she fail when she had the eyes of Percival on her and the blessings of the chickens? The halberd was brought down with vicious intention and her aim proved true.
She needed to keep at it, Percival and the other knights were doing so much she couldn't just stop here. But what she had retrieved was the same feathery creature that had assisted her earlier on.

His work of piling things atop the drawbridge, and occasionally repelling shadowy creatures that tries to remove the weight suddenly comes to a halt when he heard someone's Shout. Percival.
"Everyone to me!" he called, using the large kite shield to push back something---
WHAT IN THE NAME OF ALL THINGS MAGICAL WHICH IS HOLY---
A large dragon, coated in black substance, walking on all fours. It has six limbs, two possibly wings that's either too damaged to be used or has rotten since nobody knows.
The dragon walked, seemed slowly but actually very fast due to its lumbering size. In no time it has reached the castle walls---
The dragon roared. HOT winds, mixed with the smell of sulphur strongly blows from its direction. The dragon rests its body against the wall, and from behind army of shadow creatures jumps up the slimy body with ease.
"OH NO YOU WON'T!" Rei roared, lashing out his scythe and whittled the claw resting on the castle walls, while at the same time knocked down the small lizard-like creatures that has been climbing up---
"-BREAK!" He attacked the joints between flesh and bone, and with a satisfying CRACK the large nail broke off, followed by an anguished cry from the dragon. "Now take your hands off the---"
Suddenly, someone yanked him from behind. He recognizes this blue-colored gauntlets---
WHAM.
At the next moment, a very large scale that can easily be ridden as BOAT dropped exactly at the place he's been standing. You don't need vivid imagination to know what will happen should the Great Knight didn't pull Rei away.
Before he managed to break off from confusion, the Great Knight of Blue has already moved away, providing assistance to whoever needed it.
"-dangit."
It's always him being helped. Why can't he help him back?

Koray was just about done. After watching what he assumed was an act of God being bored...or the big guy [or gal] had a sense of humor with chickens. He was just stunned to be honest. Almost...just almost tempted to walk over and say hi to the girl. He saw it...oh man...
"What...the....tar?" he exclaimed softly. The thing was HUGE. huge with lots of teeth and a lot of mouths to feed. Oh crap. They were the meal. Whelp. That just wasn't allowed. The youth saw the great knight move. Heard his outcry and was on it. Leaping over to one of the ballistas he got it ready to fire. All he had to do was wait.
This is what made great knights. His vision of glory was nigh. He could see himself now. firing off into the monster. Single handedly saving them all. He could do this...he could do this!!!
"Alright ugly...let's see that pretty face of yours." He said with an evil grin.

The bindings flew. Koray held his breath in suspense. The dragon balked as the bindings hit it square. The youth cheered as the dragon did so and then blinked as he realized. Oh crap...HE HAD THINGS TO DO!!! Scrambling back to where he had piles of rubble and things to drop he thought he heard Percival join in his small victory. That put a spring in his step no matter how you looked at it. He did something which helped. he felt good.

As if they didn't have enough problems. Neithan froze when he spotted the massive dragon, a damn ship for the shadowlings that skurried across its back. What would happen if they dropped fire onto the thing? Would it be immune? Set them ablaze instead? He didn't have time to test the idea, nor even voice it as he bolted forward to Percival's command. How massive were some of these creatures? He didn't exactly want a demonstration of that, if this beast was any indication.
The glint of metal caught his eye and Neithan turned. Other knights, trying to combat the creatures, had not yet turned to see the dragon that loomed. The dragon that had begun to rear back, light sparking in its chest and throat. Had time stopped just then? Or was that merely the sensation of his pulse giving out and his stomach dropping through the ground?

My character's name: Neithan Character's journal link:Here BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MY CHARACTER A tall man with a broad, muscular build, the dark-skinned and fair-haired Neithan can be easily picked out of a crowd. That he has a tendency to linger towards the back of them certainly assists in this. Slow to speak to others, despite his usually narrowed gaze he can be civil to any he passes. His preference for space and few words might earn him a frosty reputation among some, but the simple attire and warm light brown eyes does match the simple pleasures he finds in smaller gatherings and lighter conversations. All a great contrast to the immensely fiery temper he possesses, something he's still struggling to fully rein in despite training. Neithan is a man of action first, deliberation second, something fueled quite easily in his experience by his sheer size, strength, and explosive determination. Koray was on such a high that he didn't even care that he picked up a keg. Maybe some of the older knights would when all this was over, but Koray had a feeling there was plenty stored away...somewhere. He saw a lot of knights drink so he figured there was a stash.
