Sigma's attention was caught, the sound of foot steps and the panicked yelling and the thought of something happening bothered him. He got himself up from the bar stool and took a look out side, almost being hit by a smoking ranger on his way out...could it be that this was day two of the madness that occurred the other day? He leaned against the entrance for a moment, watching, but then the slow striding Launcher caught his attention....didn't he look like a particular Ranger he use to know. . . it was in his face. . . "Ne'er thought I'd actually see a Pita down in this place. . ." He mumbled.
The two looked at one another with a little worry...could it be time to run in the other direction? Face the Launcher with the dangerous looking hand cannons face on...?
As if reading his mind, Gaulz skid to a grinding hault and stopped Aittus, "We can't do anything if we don't stand our ground, Ai."
"I knew you'd say that, Gaulz. So? What should we do?"
"Maybe the old once around?"
"You're kidding, right? Our dad's used that and it never worked."
"Well, there's plenty of room. And he wouldn't fire in town now would he?'
". . . we don't know that"
"Good point. Start running"
"Huh?"
Gaulz pushed the ebony mechanic away from him and they separated, charging straight for the angry Launcher.
"Wha' th' hell are those apes doin? Are they tryin t' get killed? Are they losin' th' head?"

Well Dyaus didn't seem to be surprised. Then again, he was a little more than angry about the two. He didn't change pace, but his hand cannons were already out. Both were fully charged with cannon balls spiraling in the barrel. The launcher was just biding his time until they got close enough. At that point, a quick draw and one of the cannon balls was sent flying at the two.

For any Launcher, the dodge would have been difficult, but for Gaulz, it was no problem. Sliding low, he missed the Cannon by only inches while Ai, at the last second, jumped over it with an extra leap push just over it. He was sure he'd get hit...but all went well. Landing on the other side of the cannon, the ebony Mechanic stopped, surprised he'd missed the first one.
Gaulz sat up and broke back into running once again at the Launcher. There was no need to actually do much but push forward. One cannon down, one more to go. It was time to actually play and for some reason, the thought thrilled the Launcher, a rise he use to never get. He guessed this was the fight or flight that his dad use to tell him about when he was still a trainee...He liked the feeling...no, he loved the feeling. His body, light as a feather, his hands cold with fear, the adrenaline pumping through his veins. . . all of it pointed to the fight now with the Mechanic's Brother.

Dyaus launched the other hand cannon. Once that shot of power was safely ahead, the silvery launcher brought up the flame pillar weapon. He took aim and and took his stance before setting the stream of pressurized fire loose on the other two gunners.

The blond Launcher moved out of the way swiftly unlike the mechanic who had to jump back and away from the hit. It was a scorching heat that he couldn't explain, but man was it hot. He frowned. "Now you're just trying to kill us!"
"If ye dun knock it off, there'll be wigs on the green!" Finally he opened his mouth, "Now stop acting like a Baluba an' get yer arse in gear an' go some where else!"

"What was your first clue?" Dyaus growled as he turned the nozzle towards the opposing launcher. "Besides, I wasn't the one walking the other way and into a barrel."

". . ." Gaulz frowned, "Calm down. Look, you're trying to kill us over something that we just talked about. We're friends, we pick on each other"
Sigma didn't like the sense of the situation. He didn't like to get into fights often, but when he did, it was always bad.

"I'm sorry, there was a contract about my sister I wasn't aware of?" Dyaus asked sarcastically. "Either way, you're still in my sight-" It happened fairly quickly. An exploding landrunner to the head was enough to daze the launcher.
The one who threw the land runner was the sister in question. She stared at Gaulz and Ai. "Run, I don't give a damn about how macho you think you are. Just. Run."

The two, surprised, took a moment to nod and run. Now it was time to just take it easy. Back to the old stuff.

As the two ran off, the offended launcher was just about to get back into the swing of things. In short, he was about to get that horrid ringing out of his ears as well as the double vision. Dyaus held his head, trying to find his sense of center before trying to get back up on his feet. By the time he shook most of it off, the other two were long gone. "That's a bit of smarts."
Jocasta on the other hand had already fled the scene although in a different direction. The last thing she needed was to get dragged even further in than she already was.

"Wow" Verla, who was standing on the side lines smiled silently, amused, "Ouch. That had to hurt. So, how are you feeling, big guy?"
"Hopefuly like a bloomin' eejit." He frowned as he came into view, "An' I thought tha' Izod taught ye be'er than tha'!" It was the voice of the man whom spoke earlier. Now he was pissed. He was enraged, "I have half a mind to beat yer arse here myself!" Sigma was in full out rage mode. He had taught Dyaus himself and had seen him grow from a distance, along with Jocasta and Ibsen as well. What a pain this was.

"Great, now I'm hearing things," Dyaus rubbed his eyes, trying to clear his vision. It wasn't until the spitfire was about close enough to be heard. The voice rang some bells, but it had been a while since he last heard it.

"Ye ain't hearin things! I know you! Yer Dyaus Pita, aren't you?" He gazed at him through his emerald eyes, the same ones that use to be so kind to him, "You were a wee lad when we first met."

Now he recognized the voice. "s**t, has it really been that long, Sigma?" The launcher was still more than out of it. He supposed that was what happened when adrenaline wasn't running through his system at full speed. But right now, it wasn't really much of the time to catch up. "But that's beside the point, the hell are you doing down here?"
