When it was Lin's turn to sing, Ambrose edged forward almsot to the edge of his seat. And from the moment she opened her mouth, he was staring, taking in every word, every gesture, every note...But God wasn't she lovely? When she'd finished, he was among thsoe clapping the loudest, though he tried not to make it too obvious. "Brilliant," He murmured, watching as she curtsied.

Enlil.
That word shot through his head again. And then it hit him! His memories from shortly before his first death on this side came rushing back to him in a tidal surge. It was that woman, the teacher or official or whatever she was here; she had been embraced by one of his form's, and he had tried to lay a curse upon her. He had saved her from him. He had saved the Enlil woman, and he now knew exactly which one was her son.
"Your son is being held? I'll do what I can to help before I depart, he aided me as best he could on my last journey here when I saved his mother from the clutches of Sun' Rai in one of his twisted forms."

Samiel was smiling and clapping when his daughter finished. Of course he was smiling because of the wonderful job she did, but he was also smiling at Ambrose's obvious approval and attraction for his daughter. He was completely spell-bound! Too bad Lin didn't notice... or maybe that was a good thing. His daughter should not be focused simply on who likes her at the present time, and it was good that Ambrose would have to work for her to notice his appreciation. When Lin was done, she did not go back to sit in front of Ambrose and Lia. Instead, she went to crouch at the bottom of one of the set of stairs to the side of the stage and waited there. Soon, her sisters joined her while the other girl from the other family crouched down at the other set of stairs on the other side of the stage. The 2nd girl from the family came on stage and started her rendition of " May it Be" ((Yes, it's Lord of the Rings! So sue me! lol)) softly and melodically. It was beautiful, enchanting, and truly Heavenly. After the bridge, though, and she started to trail off, the music started to change, pick up its pace, and the other girls ran up onto the stage and started the song that they had began the party with. They began to dance lively on the stage and the audience immediately stood up and started clapping. Now that everyone had heard the individual voices of each girl, it was easier to pick out who was singing what part. Lin's voice was the highest of them. When the first chorus started, the girls leapt off of the stage gracefully and wove themselves into the crowd. They each grabbed one or two dance partners and started to dance with them as they continued to sing. Lin came over to Ambrose and offered her hand to see if he wanted to dance. After all, he escorted her to the party! Of course she should pick him as her dance partner! Soon, almost every Elf was dancing at the party and the girls kept singing the song, repeating the chorus and the different verses.

Worshipping the God of Fate, Ambrsoe bowed, accepted Lin's hand and escorted her out onto the dance floor. Soon they were twirling around the dance floor, with Ambrose having hours and hours of enforced practice in his past.

Nathan didn't even have to say much, he just smiled gratefully at the bounty hunter. "As for your business with Etscher, I happen to be not unfamiliar with that family. I think if you join us for a bit, you'll find at least one or two reasonable leads."

Lin was having a wonderful time! She hadn't danced in so long, and Ambrose was a brilliant dancer! However, her voice was starting to leave her because she had been singing so much.
So, she looked at the rest of the girls. Once they all made eye contact, they nodded and then looked back at the orchestra and choir on the stage, nodding to them as well.
There was one more chorus of the song and then it ended with with a flurry of colors, dancing, and people laughing joyusly all around!
Lin looked at Ambrose, laughing happily herself. "Oh my that was fun! I hope you enjoyed your first Elven party!"
She had to speak quite loudly so that Ambrose could hear her over the clapping, laughing and talking around them.

"That family? Does this Etscher come from a criminal family, or is my language incorrect?"
He seemed almost shocked and almost overjoyed by this. More criminals meant more money and more glory, he thought to himself.

Though he was sorry when the dancing ended, Ambrose smiled, bowing and raising her hand to his lips. "It was marvelous, and quite an honor to be able to dance, if I may say, with such a lovely hostess." He said, looking up at her from hooded eyes.

Lin laughed softly. Her voice could barely handle anything louder now. "Well, how kind of you, Ambrose. Thank you. Would it be alright if you escorted me home, now? I would really like to drink some more lemon and honey tea."

Nathan thought about this before answering Aurora slowly. "It depends on your personal views, I suppose. Language only means what the speakers wants it to mean after all... I know not what Etscher himself has done, but I'm strongly convinced that someone close to him is the one behind Ialo's current predicament, as well as a group of siblings from this school." Nathan was surprisingly well-informed, as he talked with his son often.

"But of course," He said immediately, and offered her his arm. From across the room, Lia watched with a twinkle in her eye, and with a determined set of her jaw she walked over to Kember, tapped her lightly on the shoudler and murmured, "Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks he's being none too subtle." She said, a smile teasing her lips.

Lin smiled brightly and thankfully at him. She made sure to catch her father's eye so that he knew she was leaving, and then followed Ambrose home.
Kember, meanwhile, had turned toward Lia when she felt her tap her shoulder and then looked in the direction Lia was. She giggled softly and nodded her head.
"Yes, it is quite obvious his attraction toward my sister. But if anyone can be oblivious to that kind of overtness, it is Lin. Sometimes I believe she focuses TOO much on schoolwork. Your brother is quite attractive, Lia. It is too bad he focuses on Lin so much, though, when he wouldn't have to work twice as hard for some other women around here."
She laughed softly at this.

Lia giggled softly, muffling it daintily with her hand. "Oh, he's never been like this before. This intense infatuation he has going on has been...something quite interesting to watch. I believe he even shocks himself sometimes." She said with amusement.

Kember's eyes widened largely. "Are you serious?! Never?? Huh... I guess I should be paying more attention now, too." She then giggled softly to Lia. She was the most relaxed and modern with her speech compared to her entire family.
Meanwhile, Lin and Ambrose had finally arrived at her house. "Would you like something to drink as well, Ambrose? You are free to come inside for something, if you wish. It is not improper for a man to enter a woman's quarters at night alone since we all know that nothing of THAT nature would ever happen outside of marriage! It just wouldn't!"
