As Neko began playing Luna twirled on her feet fast and gracefully. her dance was full of energy. When the song ended she smilied. "Very nicely done Neko." she smilied.

Neko threw her hand up in the air. "That was soo fun nya! Should we do another nya?"

Luna sighed as she sat down. "No more neko. let me rest." she smilied.

Hiro looked down to Ayaka with a sad look in his eyes. She had been torn up emotionally over this whole thing and he was worried that it made her susceptible to the callings of the spirits. He took his sister's hand like when she was young and squeezed it reassuringly to grant her some courage.
The both of them began to journey off to meet Neko under the bright full moonlight.
Daniel's mind continued to get fuzzy. It was as though voices were chanting something to him and he could not concentrate. He reached down to turn off his device and found something hard and cold like steel in his bag.

Ayaka looked up at her older brother and smiled at him. She leaned against his strong arm as they began to walk back to Neko's house. "So what do you think about it Hiro?" She asked, "Is there anyone you suspect?"

Hiro wasn't sure how to answer that. She didn't show signs of someone who had committed a murder. No he couldn't tell her that she might have been responsible if the spirits did indeed use her as a vessel it commit the murders.
"It could be any number of people Ayaka. We have had many people visiting from the outside world this year. However to get to the daggers someone would have to have skills at lock picking to get that lock open." Hiro told her as they approached the house. Hiro got a cold feeling in his stomach as they got closer to the house.
Daniel's fingers traced the object to discover it was one of the blades from the dirt he found earlier. He felt his consciousness slowly fade as something more malicious took over.

That was not the answer Ayaka had wanted, she had wanted names. Neko's house was before them now thought. She didn't have time to ask before they entered. Instead she said softly, "It looks like we are here brother." She stepped before him and opened the door. Stepping aside she waited for them to return.
"Welcome back!" Neko cheered seeing Hiro's form standing outside in the dark. "So have you found anything interesting?" She inquired.

"I am sorry Neko. Even though you are a close friend of the family I can not divulge information about the case in question." Hiro said calmly as he looked around at the visitors. Any number of them could have been the murderers. He noticed one man in glasses rummaging through his bag with a semi glazed look in his eyes.

Ayaka nodded by her brother's side. "Yes, we can't tell anyone anything yet." She said smiling at Neko.
Neko sighed, "Well did you figure it out?" she asked hopefully.
Athrun sighed, this was going nowhere, they needed outside help. "Excuse me, I promised my wife and child that I would call them tonight, may I step outside and make my call? I promise I won't leave." Athrun assured them.

Kaori would begin to awaken as she looked about. Her eyes seemed to be fully opened by the time she sat up. Her body was fully recovered as she looked around. All she could do was this as she had to wait for Neko to give her a clean bill of health to move around before she tried to.

"That's fine but I will be watching you from in here. Until such point as whoever this murderer is no one is safe." Hiro said eying Athrun as he opened the door. The whole fiasco had begun to wear on him but he had to remain vigilant as his attention was drawn from the man in glasses.
Daniel lost himself to the spirit that possessed the ritualistic dagger. It told Daniel what to do and the time had come to fulfill its wish.

Athrun bowed thankfully. He slipped past Hiro and out the door. Once outside he pulled out his phone and dialed 9-1-1, Athrun didn't have that sort of a family yet. Placing the phone to his ear he waited for the nearest police station to pick up.

Daniel suddenly stood and bolted for the door. Hiro reached for his sword with one hand and protectively threw his sister away with the other. The menacing glint of steel caught his eye as Daniel moved with seemingly inhuman speed sinking the ritualistic dagger into Athrun's back with a sickening thunk. Daniel began to recite the poem of old that the village's legends foretold.
"911 what is the state of your emergency." The operator on the phone said as the Athrun coughed up some of the blood that was now filling his lungs as the dagger was pulled out of him.
Daniel began to turn toward the others. His eyes lacked any compassion as he proceeded to advance but Hiro would not be caught off guard twice as his sword found its way to the hand that held the deadly dagger.
Daniel screamed as the dagger and hand fell limp to the ground. Hiro was closest to Daniel so he could see the eyes change to something more akin to fear and confusion.

Ayaka screamed when her brother threw her. She hit one of the walls, and slid to the ground. She sat frozen, horrified. Her heart raced painfully.
Neko jumped to her feet and ran out the door. She ran first to Athrun who made a sickening choking sound. His lips were dyed red with blood, and his eyes. Neko shook her head sadly. He was gone. She jumped to her feet, leaving Athrun, and she turned to Daniel. She approached him. "Hiro I need you!" She shouted, "Restrain him while I wrap up that arm! I can still do that." Neko's hands shook as she ran into the house to grab some bandages. The man had better be there when she got back.

Kaori ignored her body’s possible demand to remain in bed. She had business to attend to. She’d get up and make her way over to Ayaka as she knelt down and held her gently. She’d try to quiet the girl in her arms. Her eyes were soft as she stayed there for Ayaka.
