Jade slowly emerged from the elevator shaft, a towel hanging over her shoulder. She was clad in her red bikini top for her bathing suit, and wore a pair of black shorts that were waterproof, like what a surfer would wear. Her long brown tail was wrapped lightly around her waist like a furry belt. It was obvious she was planning on a swim, or at least a long, relaxing bath.

If one were to be following behind her, they would be able to see faint scar lines starting to show on her back, starting at her shoulder blades, and angling down to her midspine.

Jade paused before heading towards the hallway, and turned in the direction of the bar. She lightly lifted the note left there by Keno, and sighed softly to herself before laying the paper back down. She'd known about it for a while, about Keno leaving. Still, it hadn't seemed that real then, not until he was gone did it fully hit her.

But the Saiya-jin teen kept her thoughts to herself. That's what musing in a hotspring were good for. And with that in mind, Jade turned away from the bar and headed for the hallway, turning left and down the stairs to where she could feel the heat rising up onto her skin.

It only took a few moments for Jade to be fully surrounded by the heat given off by the hot spring. She breathed the steam and heat in deeply, closing her eyes and she ran a hand back through her ebony hair. After a moment, Jade put her towel down on the floor and slowly slipped into the water.

The water wrapped her in a heated liquid blanket, relaxing muscles she hadn't even known were tensed up. One thing was sure, the hotsprings were one of Jade's favorite places to be.

Jade sank into the waters up to her neck, her worn and beaten locket sinking under the waters. It wasn't like it had always remained dry. She took care of it though, and had survived a lot. She closed her green eyes, and sighed softly, her tail unraveling from her waist and moving limping in the waters.

Even thoguh she'd been skimping on her training lately, she needed a break. And it felt good to relax again.

Even Jedi relaxed sometimes.

Most of the time: Your life was on the line as people were dieing and things were exploding. Or you watched as planets were burned to ash. Or you were slicing your lightsaber through someone. Or you sat and watched as your attempts to negociate a peace between others went to hell.

This was one of those rare times. He was going to the hotsprings downstairs of the club.

For once, he actually wasn't wearing his Jedi robes, but a jet-black swim trunks with various dark green lines crossing into patterns and a blue towel over his shoulders. His skeleton-like artifical left arm remained uncovered - it was completely and utterly waterproof. In a brown duffle bag from his military days he carried a change of casual cilivilan clothing - and a lightsaber.

Corellians never went anywhere unarmed.

As he came down to the hotsprings, he noticed somewhere there. Someone obivously needing some relaxing too.

"Uh, hello there, " Valin said to the woman. He might have met her once, she seemed familiar.

Jade was brought out of her musings by another coming into the hotsprings. After having Keno around so long, she'd learned to pick up little habits from him. She could feel the hot air shifting slighlty, but it was mostly her nose that alerted her to another.

The young woman opened her green eyes slowly and tilted her head back, looking at the Jedi upside-down while still in the water. She'd never really been introduced to him, but she'd seen him around before. Hell, she'd talked with him, but never was introduced.

"Well hello. You're, Valin, right? I'm Jade."

It was a simple way for her to get by the introduction dilema.

Valin nodded to the woman, who now had a name. It seemed he was forever having to introduce himself to new people around here. But it didn't matter: He generally enjoyed meeting them all.

He placed his stuff down and moved to the water, slowly lowering himself into the water, resting his black skeletal-like artifical limb on land he leaned against close to the water. Though waterproof, it didn't hurt to keep it out of the water anyway.

"A pleasure to meet you, Jade. I see many people know me without me actually having met them yet," He chuckled at the end of this. It was good to relax. It allowed him to be a peace with himself for a while. And though he enjoyed going through the history of the Jedi - it got boring at times.

"And a pleasure to meet you as well, at least, officially."

Jade let out a soft laugh as well, shifting over and sitting up slighlty to get a better look at Valin. Her eyes couldn't help but land on his black, artifical arm, but she managed to keep from lingering on it too long to be considered rude. If he wanted to tell, he would.

"I usually get to know people without meeting them, simply because I'm in the same room. I guess you could say it's instinct now to know who's around me..."

"I'm sorta in and out. I tend not to put myself down somewhere for too long or at least I manage to keep myself busy enough to not notice I haven't been around for too long," He said to her. Valin noticed that she had stared for just the briefest of moments at his fake limb.

"It was due to... an accident..." The Jedi left it at that. She probably didn't want to hear a war story.

Jade nodded slighlty, looking out across the water of the hotspring, not really focusing on anything particular.

"I wandered like that for a time, before I settled down here. I even tried to leave once, but I was still drawn back...." She smiled slightly as she turned to Valin, her green eyes shining. "Though some of the people are strange, I wouldn't trade my home for anything...."

She nodded a slight glance towards his arm again. "I'm sorry to hear that....but at least you've been able to survive well with the artifical one..."

Valin smiled, "It started as something rather simple... and then I had to mess with it... and well, it is what it is now. I really fixed it up quite nicely."

He loved to tinker with things. His father had been a mechanic for the Rebel Alliance and then owed his own repair shop on Corellia when he retired for the Alliance. Valin had picked up the trade from him.

"I sorta have a home - that guy User gave me his room up in the tower here. Said he never used it..." He smiled and laughed, "I'm not sure why... he doesn't seem like the type to just... give away something... maybe he didn't care since he had no use for it?"

Jade nodded slightly, understanding. She wasn't much of a tinkerer herself, at least with machines. She did know herself to be one to experiment with drinks and alcohol though. But she hadn't been behind the bar in a while, and prefered to keep it that way now.

Jade couldn't help but laugh though at his thoughts on User. She knew him pretty well. And that was exactly how he was.

"Yea....that's User for you. He doesn't like to be given anything really...and since he already had a home, he saw no use to have a second place. Besides, he has his daughter too, and he prefers to train her privately I suppose."

The young woman sighed slightly, thinking of Sabrina.

"Though, it would be nice to see her again...."

"He moved his ship to Red's island," Valin told Jade.

The Jedi had spent a lot of time there the last few days, the forests were so packed full of life that it made it easy to become emerged within the Force. It was a very nice place despite the rather humid climate that seemed to surround it. But those beaches really nice too.

"He put it down by the dock - I suppose its his home, right? It's big enough, it seems..."

It was a rather oddly designed ship. But after seeing the organic Yuuzhan Vong ships - which were grown not made - it was hardly a surprise to see a ship with suck sleekness.

He sunk some in the hot water, "This place is quite nice..."

Jade had little trouble believeing that the ship was Users. She didn't doubt it, considering when she first met him, she'd been on it herself. Butt he news of Red having her own island? That was news to her.

"Since when has Red had her own island..? I need to come down from my room more...."

She laughed slighlty, knowing it was true. She'd spent teh past few days cooped up in there. But Jade also sank more into the water, letting out a soft sigh.

"But you're right, this place is nice....I try to come here as often as I can..."
