Reading reviews of a documentary called "Michael Moore Hates America," if only because the most common tags listed for it were "crap, pointless, boring, drivel." While I would hope for an interesting disection of Moore's clearly flamboyant editing techniques (and maybe some critique of the meandering, pointless "Bowling for Columbine), I have decided due to the tagging that it's not worth watching. But with tags like that, I also decided that I had to read the comments, of which there are two kinds.
1 - reviews from 1-3 (out of 5) stars, stating that this documentary is uninteresting and poorly made. Even at its best moments it's simply stealing tricks from Moore's own films. No disection of Moore's films are made, or barely any, and most of it is a character attack. For example, Moore is a liar because he grew up in Davison and not Flint as he always says. Except that Davison is a suburb of Flint. So I'm not sure what the problem is. Perhaps the most damning comment is that if you like Moore's movies, you might enjoy this one just becuase the style is totally aped. People who did and did not like Moore and who also did not like this gave the same review.
2 - 5 STARS! This movie is awesome! I hate Michael Moore! His movies suck! Support our troops! Moore makes tons of money off his movies so he's a hypocrit for hating capitalism! Jon Stewart is a tool! ALL librals are liars!
Call me crazy, but shouldn't your ever-so-positive review of the movie be...a review of the movie? You could just as well have said, "THIS MOVIE IS AWESOME! I LIKE KITTENS! JON STEWART!"

So I hear they are making a Stretch Armstrong movie...I kid you not. And that wolf guy in twilight will be playing Stretch (I'm guessing as a Voice Actor). I'm not sure if I should laugh or cry at this moment. I only wonder, will they be bringing back Vac-man? Because Vac-man was an awesome toy. The Vac-pac, not so much.

Virgil Hawkins THIS POST IS AWESOME! I LIKE KITTENS! JON STEWART! WHY DO YOU HATE AMERICA!?
Kinda-not-really-related: Stewart on The O'Reilly Factor? So very amusing. I need to flip through channels more often and find other such gems of bizarre interest.

So apparently, not only is Nolan on board for Batman 3, he's also involved in some capacity in the reboot of the Superman franchise. This news makes me smile. Also, Cap will be cast by March 1st, and will be an unknown. (I don't suppose Jon Hamm qualifies as an unknown nowadays, does he? s**t.) And Tim Robbins is in Green Lantern. Good day for superhero movies.

Nice, I'm still holding back my excitement until a trailer comes out.
I watched the Illusionist. Sense I'll most likely go into details about it, I'll just say that I loved it. heart

I just saw a bit of awesomeness on an episode of The Human Target. A thief is hiding in a monastery and Chance is sent to protect him. Chance finds leading an alternative class in the library. The alternative class is all about explaining Crisis on Infinite Earths to the monks. xp

I'm not sure why they based it off the Human Target, though. The whole point of that character is that he's a master of disguise who impersonates his targets, but they haven't really done that at all on the show.

Good day for superhero movies. Is it really Jon Hamm? I had head be for it was going to be Aaron Eckhart, who does look a bit more like Steve Rogers. So has anyone else heard about Kevin Smith's beef with Southwest air lines and how they kicked him of the flight for being too fat, stating he was a safety hazard. Really?
'One of these things, is not like the other one,~

Crisis on Two Earths was ridiculous amounts of fun. Evil Vibe! Also, plenty of Rose Wilson for that one Ravager fan. Only thing really awful about it was Billy Baldwin Batman.

If you get a chance, go see Shutter Island. Closest thing to Hitchcock you're likely to see in 2010.
