Shinzu continued on, he could actually see the academy now, which only made him speed up. Which only added to the pain in his legs, which then only made him more resistant to pain. It wasn't going too bad so far, he could still walk at least.
15 + 2 = 18 vs 12 Pass
Shinzu had to stop, his legs felt like they were on fire, but he soon stopped, and switched to pushups. God this made his arms hurt... Shinzu thought as he did one, then two pushups. Three more and he could go back to the crab walks. Funny how his legs felt better whenever his arms felt worse.
13 + 2 = 21 vs 12 Pass
Shinzu was legitly panting now, and as he tried to do another pushup, they gave out underneath him. Now he found himself facedown in the dirt, oh if Masaraku could see him now! He'd probaly never hear the end of it... What would his Father say, if he saw him now?
5 + 2 = 10 vs 12 Fail
If Shinzu could've shrugged he would've, as he wasn't physically able at the moment, he shrugged mentally. He didn't want to put words in his deceased father's mouth. But he continued to lay there, almost seeming lifeless, cept for the small amouth of dust put into the air by his breathing.
8 + 2 = 10 vs 12 Fail
Thinking he had waited long enough, Shinzu got back into the pushup position again, and promptly did a pushup. He had to rest again after that, he was just so sore all over... He couldn't stay down forever, Batsu had already passed him as it was!

Feeling his fire return to his heart, Shinzu got back into position, and busted out two pushups. He virutally hopped back into his crabwalk position, and set out with renued vigor. He was not going to give in, he would finish his training. No matter how long it took!

Shinzu's vigor easily carried him through the next hundred or so yards of crabwalking, before he switched back to pushups. Even though his arms and legs were burning aqt this point, he could see his goal ahead, and would not stop till he achieved it. Knocking out another five pushups, Shinzu switched back to crabwalks.
16 + 2 = 18 vs 12 Pass
The burning was just a little too much at that point however, and he was forced to stop. He allowed his legs to relax for a minute by just laying them out. He didn't want his muscles to tighten however, and stretched for a minute before getting back at it.
8 + 2 = 10 vs 12 Fail
The Academy was so close, not only could he see it, he could feel it. As he watched each step carry him closer to the Academy, Shinzu sped up. He was beyond happy now, and his ever wuicker movements showed it. Pain be damned!

Shinzu sighed happily as he finally reached the Academy, he could actually rest his legs now! He thought gleefully, as he stood up completely and stretched his arms and legs. "Ahhh that feels nice..." He said as he slowly walked into the academy, and down to the basement training area.

Masaraku strolled into the library, grabbing a book on Genjutsu and the Wind Ninjutsu scroll before returning to the librarian. "Hey you!" She said in a somewhat giddy voice. The librarian looked at the books and said, "Genjutsu? Aren't you spreading yourself a little thin there Hoshigaki?" She shrugged and said, "Its for defensive purposes. I know that chakra can be used to block them, but I don't exactly know how they work."

 Tenko walked in slowly at first. His head was the only thing that broke through the plane before the rest of him. He slowly took a step in and nearly stumbled in. He looked at the lip of the door and glared. 'You'd think the steps would be even with the door...' He sighed and shook his head as he continued to walk in. The library was a lot bigger than he had thought it would be. He took a deep breath and continued to walk around aimlessly. 'I wonder what I'm looking for. . . ' He thought to himself. 'Maybe....' He began to search for what he was aiming for. He wondered if they'd even have it to begin with. He figured they would but you never know.

Tenko jumped up as high has he could in search of a book that would hold any relevance. He was beginning to grow jealous of all those taller people. He began to pout with his arms crossed across his chest. He didn't know if he was going to be able to find it. He sighed and looked around slowly trying to read the books as he passed. His foot locked onto of the racks and fell face first into the floor with a grunt. He didn't hurt so much as he had from after the fight but he was slowly getting better he took a deep breath in and reminded himself that he was indeed okay. He looked around to see what his foot was caught on.
He noticed a rack that had scrolls on it. He looked at the rack with interested. 'Just maybe...' He crawled on his hands and knees toward the rack and looked around. He didn't find something specific that he wanted but sighed and grabbed the only other scroll he could think would be any use. He took the Non-elemental Jutsu scroll up to the desk and smiled kindly. "I'd like to check this out please." He said beaming his brightest smile. He watched as she put the book she had been reading down only after marking her page. he looked at her as she studied him and looked at the scroll then back at him. He shrank slightly and looked down. 'Is there an age restriction on checking out things?' He took a deep breath but before he could speak she handed the scroll with a smile on her face. He beamed back at her happily and nearly jumped up and down when he put it in his bag. He definitely had a hop in his step though as he left the library.

[Fail] Batsu knew the chuunin exams were inching closer as the days went by. As such, he wanted to make sure his team was taken care of. So the boy knew their weakness and wanted to help out with that. Genjutsu was their Achilles Heel, so it was his job to have their back. Batsu walked into the library and a great sense of calm came over him. The smell of the building, the cool air, the shelves of nothing but scrolls and books... what was there not to love? He hadn't been there in a while and maybe it was time for him to go back there more often. Oh well. That would have to wait. Now, he was on a mission to learn how to cancel a genjutsu for not only himself, but for someone else as well. [Pass] As Batsu walked deeper into the library, he saw that someone was checking out a great deal of books. The person looked as if they were performing some sort of balancing act up until one of the books spilled over onto the floor. The boy, being the nice person he was, ran over to the book and picked it up. He read the title of the book aloud. "Genjutsu: A Study of The Mind's Effect" Hmm... Batsu then looked up to see that the person carrying all of the book's was an older female with short brown hair. Batsu reached up and tried to hand back the book after the woman placed all the other books on a table to read. [Fail]"Ah... thanks! You know it's really hard to keep a hold to everything when you're holding on to so much." The girl let out a bit of a nervous chuckle. "I hope I didn't mess up what you originally came here for."Batsu just politely smiled and shook his head. "Oh, no ma'am. I'm just here because I need to know more about genjutsu."
Of course, this peaked the woman's curiosity. "If you don't mind me asking, what is it that you need to know?"Batsu shook his head again and began to respond. "No, I don't mind you asking, but I've heard of a jutsu that one can use and it helps someone break free. I believe it can also help someone else break free too if you use it on them."[Fail] The woman reached in her pile of books and pulled out a book called "Genjutsu Kai". Batsu looked down at the book then back up at the female. "That's the technique. By the way, my name is Cassie and I'd be more than happy to help you if you need some help with genjutsu." Cassie flashed a great big smile as she reached throuhj the pile of books and began to read for herself. [Pass] "Hmmm... does this mean that I have another sensei?" Of course, Batsu didn't mind this. Hell, he could use all the help he could get before the chuunin exams. If Cassie wanted to make her services available then who was he to object? The boy just quietly picked up the book from the table, opened the cover and started to read the contents. Hopefully this thing wasn't going to be TOO heavy of a load. [Pass] Whenever it came to reading something, Batsu did best in solitude. Since he was in the library, though, he was okay with the quietness of the building. Plus he had a resource to ask questions. Cassie looked to be quite knowledgeable at first glance. Eventually he'll be able to find out just how much she knew. After all, he did have to put this jutsu to the test some way or another. [Fail] Batsu continued to read up up until the point to where it got to the diagrams. The pictures were confusing to him and it kinda made him frown a little bit. Batsu heard stories of how his siblings knew B-ranked genjtsu darn near out of the academy. Here he was getting ready for the chuunin exams and he didn't know a single genjutsu technique, let alone how to fight one of. The boy had to focus harder than he ever had to before in order to at least gain some sort of recognition somewhere. [Pass x2] Batsu traipsed his hand along the diagram of chakra flow and everything sort of came to him in a snap. It was definitely a weird feeling. Not too long ago Batsu was confused out of his mind. Now here he was just as sharp as ever. This wasn't making any kind of sense, but one thing was for certain. Batsu was now starting to comprehend the essence of genjutsu. Good, because he was getting closer to being able to learn about the art. [Pass] Batsu glanced up from his book and noticed that Cassie had put down her book and picked up another one! NO WAY! Was this girl serious?! She was blazing through the pages with breakneck speed and here he was having spurts of good and bad comprehension. Either she had read the books before or she was just THAT good of a reader. Either way, Batsu locked his attention on the girl's eyes and they were scanning the book with a quickness. [Pass] Batsu just stood there in shock as he watched Cassie read. Damn, he wished he could blaze through books like that. However, his surprise would make a turn as Cassie spoke. By you staring, I take it that you have finished reading? Batsu shivered in shock and he immediately went back to reading his book. Never before had he been so startled by someone else. However, it definitely made him respect the woman more. [Pass] After getting the jolt of his life, Batsu felt like he needed to pick up the pace. He started reading through his book with greater speed. Mind you, it wasn't as fast as what Cassie was doing, but he did pick up the pace without hesitation. The weird part of it all was that he was actually understanding everything too. Not once did he stumble over a word, a picture, or any such thing. The boy was getting to Cassie's level of reading but he didn't quite know it yet. [Pass] Batsu ended up turning the page and came across another diagram that was similar to the one he saw previously. However, upon closer inspection, it looked like the chakra flow was interrupted throughout the body. Such was the nature of the genjutsu kai technique. It looked like a very useful technique to have, so he was getting ridiculously antsy to try the whole thing out. [Pass] Batsu flipped to the last page in the book and he looked over the words almost as fast as he learned to.. Batsu then reached the end of the page and the book. He closed the book and decided to test the waters. "Cassie-sensei, I have finished the book. What do I need to do now?"Cassie closed the book and looked at Batsu. "Are you sure you wish to learn the remainder of the jutsu? This will mean that I will put you in a genjutsu and expect you to break free if you wish to continue." Batsu was itching to go and he nodded without hesitation. This made Cassie smile and she left the books on the table for her to pick up later. For now, she had some trainiing to do. Jin arrived just before Candy and Fai Lang, but once all three arrived, Candy dumped Hirojo's body and said, "Fai lang, take him back to the boat and head back." They entered the library and found the Water Jutsu scroll, copying down the A rank jutsu slowly but surely. Jin wrote what Candy read, and once they were done they would leave. Jin began to read, "Alright, one part flour, 2 eggs, and one forth ... wrong scroll." Candy waited on her hopeless partner.

Shinzu refused to go into any situation without proper intelligence, call him cautious, but improper intel and people could die. The last thing they needed was to be caught off guard, as they'd been in Kodoku. Shaking that thought from his head Shinzu slwoly entered the Academy from the back, as he had done several times before. Proceeding further into the Academy he moved from section to section, until he spotted two people busily copying scrolls.

Hiru quickly made his way to the academy to find two people who appeared to be copying scrolls. He was a bit... perplexed, to say the least, but was even more curious to see how the young shinobis would approach this encounter. He silently stuck to the ceiling close to the action and concealed his presence, keeping a watchful eye just as to give the genins enough room to maneuver but close enough to intervene if anyone were in danger.
