Sssooooo..... I know I said I'd never do drawings of my characters but I thought I might give it a bit of a go so I started a little Jerai sketch the other day and this is what it got me:
and then I thought I'd darken it up a bit:
now it's not what I really think of her as looking like but it's a decent semi-anime type sketch and it's certainly more then loosely representational of her... hmm... I'd never quite planned out a costume for her and I've always liked a staff for a weapon better but heck it's just a sketch, I spent too much time on it as it is, honestly... uh if anyone cares she's a pencil sketch I took a digital photo of and then put on my powerbook, I drew the wings in photoshop with a track pad (bad, very bad idea btw) and all the color in photoshop with the track pad blah blah... yeah I need to buy a tablet I know... but seriously them ain't half bad wings for drawing them in a 2x2 inch square with my index finger... um... yeah any comments folks?
