Shock engulfed Jayme's face and after a short minute of that, she erupted with laughter at the mere thought of being Malachai's future wife or love or whatever it was he wanted exactly. Malachai stood there confused by her enormous laughter but became angered and embarassed when she would not cease.
"You think that I would actually go back to you after you murdered my best friend? After you put a spell on me to make me love you in the first place? Oh and let's not forget how you almost cost me my relationship with Michael, you know the guy that I've been truly in love with since before I even came to this school!! You must be cracked! Even if you were the last male that was still alive in the entire universe, I still would want you dead for what you've done Malachai Ellisine!! I hate you with every fiber of my being, don't you see that?!" Her laughter transformed into anger towards the end of her little speech. Her nostrils flared as she mentioned his entire name. Meanwhile, Malachai remained as he was, not moving a muscle, waiting for Jayme to finish.
"Jayme Hitori, you will forget and you will fall in love. That is a solemn vow. Your dream with me shall be realized," his voice faded in the end and suddenly he was gone, as if he had never been there at all.

Naiya stood at that spot stunned for a few seconds. Her new friends had just disapeared. She looked around, but there was no trace of him. She was about to call out his name, when her stohmach growled. Naiya whiped around to go off campus and find something to eat, when WHAM!! She collided with a boy so hard, she fell down with a small thud. "Omph! Owch, dat hurt alot!" She looked up to take a look at the boy. He had birght breen eyes, a scar over his eye, and a mohawk like haircut. Naiya smiled, seeing he hadn't fell over. "I'm so very sorry! Are jou ok?" She said as she got up, rubbing her butt. Her backpack had flown way over to the otherside of a tree, and most of the stuff inside og it was spilling out. She sighed and frowned.

The fountain bubbled furiously on one side, growing bigger by the second, until the form of a woman took its shape. Beneath the cool liquid was Ari, Ocean's Beauty, who had been intertwined with the fountain's water. The clear fresh aqua splattered away from her sleek body in a downpour. Her deep icy blue eyes drifted about in a jaded way, intaking the scenery and souls. She felt lost and confused. 'Where was I last?' she pondered in her mind, not quite sure of the day or what she had been doing before she entered the water. Her Drenched Stone was eminating the purest of color, light glowing off of it. 'I must have fed recently.' She continued to stand there in the fountain, not sure what to do or who to talk to.

User ImageFelix was nearly to the building that housed the training grounds when a small mass collided with him. He spun, planting his feet and twitching his fingers, ready for a fight. When he saw the figure on the ground he frowned.

She was looking quite surprised and innocent, but Felix knew not to let someone's looks lure him into a false sense of security.

"I'm so very sorry! Are jou ok?" she squeaked, looking up at him.

Felix knew she wasn't a threat. His stance softened and he nodded curtly as she got to her feet. "I'm fine," he grunted. "Just watch where you're going. You could have gotten seriously hurt."

Naiya sighed and nodded. She had her mind on something else at the time, so it was hard for her to watch where she was going. "I er....I'm ok. I didn't get hurt bad at all." She said with a small hint of a smile. She then turned and walked over to her stuff, frowing and bending down. "Vow, I sure did turn fast. Everything is laying around..." She mumbled to herself as she start re-folding her clothes. Her daggers and her spoon were laying around her feet. She payed no attenting to the sharp objects that were so very close to cutting her.

User Image"It wouldn't've been the fall that hurt you..." Felix muttered. He watched warily as the girl picked up the belongings that had been strewn about in the collision. She seemed to be quite careless; several times she almost impaled her feet on the daggers lying on the grass.

"Just watch where you're going," he repeated. Felix turned to leave.

He was here not half an hour and already he had been run into. Either he was going to have to keep his guard lower and not react to these occurrences or wind up accidentally breaking someone. This girl... who the hell did she think she was? If she knew what had happened to him, she wouldn't've dared be so careless.

How long would it be until someone did get hurt?

Koori was hurriedly walking across the courtyard, a large stack of books in her arms. She had dosed off in her office and completely forgotten to return her books to the library. Ms. Laurence gets so upset when books are overdue. She was walking past the large fountain in the center of the courtyard when she paused and gawked. There was a stunning young lady just standing there sopping wet in the fountain.

"Umm... Excuse me... I don't believe you're allowed to be in the fountain..." Koori muttered timidly.

Naiya sighed and finished picking up all her clothes. She picked up her daggers, tossed three in her bag, spun the fourth one expertly around her finger, and slipped it into her bag. She got up and walked over to the boy. "I really am quiet sorry. My mind vas somevhere else. Vould you..er...." She sighed and blinked a few times. HE probably didn't like her too much for slamming into him. She could see it on his face. Naiya smiled a bit and bowed. "Sorry for vasting jour time. I'll just be on my vay.." She slung one side of her backpack over her shoulder, and started in the direction of the school gates.

Rage and hatred radiated from Ari's entire body. Her limbs went rigid and her fingertips stretched beyond their reach towards the light water. A faint mist stirred by her feet and her eyes shot at the girl with the stack of books. It took all of five seconds before her anger disappeared and the mist faded away. Ari's body relaxed as she shifted her weight to one hip. The Drenched Stone pulsated lightly, desiring the girl, wanting her lifeforce.

"My apologies, I did not realize that was the rule. I haven't exactly been around for that long. Forgive me book keeper."
Her general air of politeness was her disguise.

May enter court yard and took a deep breath of the fresh air. "What a nice day." She smiled. She looked behind her and said. "Are you coming?" She asked before she walked out a little farther. 'So nice to be out of that place.' She stretched her good arm.

((Enter stage right from Dining Hall))

It was getting close to noon now, and after a couple hours walking with Andrew, Labryna was feeling very good about meeting him and giggling more then she was used to. Even when he polymorphed a third arm to tickle her surprisingly she just playfully slapped him away and giggled some more. Being with Andrew, even just for a few hours was unlike being with any boy she'd ever known, and their conversation shifted from school property, to her and her family, then to him and his.

Finally they sat down together under a large tree in the courtyard and Andrew put his arm around Labby's shoulders. "So why are you here Labby?" Andrew asked, "That staff is really impressive, but I don't know what your powers are."

"Powers?" Labryna asked not familiar with this term in relation to her magic.

"Yeah, everyone here's got some powers. Like my polymorphing, or Joe's card tricks." Andrew explained, and Labryna now understood what he was talking about.

Labryna smiled now in a proud way and said, "Watch, I'll show you." Standing up she walked out of the shade of the tree into the direct sunlight. She felt the flow of ambient light flowing into the crystal, and she reached up to touch it. As always her minds eye saw the light around her break into different colors within the crystal and she reached down mentally to take hold of a yellow strand. Using her hand she directed the yellow light outward and a pure stream of light flew from the crystal around her neck. Working quickly she formed it into a small spherical sun. After that she began to work details into the ball by pulling out small cylinders that she curled around to form little solar flares. Lastly she inscribed Andrew's name around the equator in a darker shade so that it stood out visibly.

Looking away from the little sun she saw Andrew staring in wonder at what she was doing, his mouth nearly hanging open. Labryna felt her heart swell in pride and she looked back at the sun determined to make it perfect. Her mom had said that different colors could be mixed together to make better objects, but that was something Labby hadn't had much opportunity to test. Boldly she reached out now for some orange light from her crystal and concentrated harder trying to pull it loose. Along with more concentration though, trying to pull orange light was taking more of her energy as well, and Labryna started breathing heavier as if pushing against a great wieght.

Finally a stream of orange light leaped from the crystal and into the small sun, joining and intermingling with the yellow light around the edges it added definition to the solar flares and brought out Andrews name even more. Bolstered by her success Labby reached again for another color, something she had never done before, and tried to pull some red light which would finish the sun and add a gentle radient warmth. Breathing very hard now Labryna strained against the light trying to pull it out through shear willpower. After what felt like hours a small stream of light again flowed from the crystal and Labryna thought she had done it. But as the red light struck the center of the sun she had created the entire thing exploded in a wave of light that left her eyes dazed and she collapsed to the ground on her butt.

Feeling incredibly winded it was all Labryna could do to not collapse fully as Andrew rushed over wooping excitedly, "That was amazing Labryna! I've never seen someone control light that way." She smiled again and felt her heart jump at his praise. When he sat down next to her and wrapped his arm around her again she gratefully leaned into him for support and focused on breathing.

Andrew was still laughing musically while holding her in the sunlight and as Labby recovered he planted a small kiss on her cheek. Blushing deeply she went to swat him away but all her arm would do was bump into his shoulder. Even at home among the sand and the sun Labby had yet to kiss a boy, partly because she had lived along with her Mom for several years, but also before then because Alexis, her younger sister, seemed to be the one always attracting that kind of attention.

After a few more minutes Labryna felt strong enough to sit up on her own, and she shifted a little to relieve the pressure on Andrew. "I've never gotten that close to using three colors before." Labryna said a little proud and a little disappointed that she hadn't managed it.

"Well it was a beautiful thing to watch," Andrew complimented again, and Labryna giggled. "You feel up to walking again? The festival at the beach has been going on for a little while and I was hoping to catch lunch there and see what was going on."

"Yes," Labryna said, "I think that's a great idea. In another minute." Labryna leaned into Andrew again enjoying the warmth of his body in the sun. When a few minutes had passed, Andrew stood up and reaching down helped Labryna up. They walked together out of the big iron doors and toward the beach.

User ImageHei appeared in the center of the courtyard, a grim expression still clearly etched into his face. He was still upset, of course he was, it had only been mere minutes since he'd witnessed Akemi on the verge of tears. He sighed and sat down on the fountain and closed his eyes. He opened his eye again and looked towards a cherry tree before his body suddenly appeared sitting against it. He sighed once more and waited for something to happen. The chit-chat of other students was a bit annoying, but he could handle it...

Mika went for the first tree she set eyes on. It was a cherry tree. She hated cherries but the flowers were pretty. She barely even noticed the melancholy boy slumped against the trunk as she started to climb it. There were far too many people here for her liking.

'I just need some air, that's all. Just a breeze on my face and I should be fine.'

Akemi......

Akemi entered what seemed to be a courtyard and spotted Ken by a cherry tree. She smiled weakly, bracing herself for the apology. Hoping things would go well, she silently fluttered towards him, hopping a few times. She stood on the opposite end. Above her was a girl but she ignored her, not wanting to be distracted from her original goal. Slowly taking a step forward, she levitated the ball just in front of Ken's face and then waited a few seconds before stepping beside him and sitting down. " I'm sorry Ken. I'm giving you this as a replacement for the one I popped. This one won't be able to be popped so don't worry. " She carefully placed it in his hands. Akemi pointed to the little turtle inside and smiled warmly at him. They started off at bad terms but she wanted to make this work. " That's a little key chain. You can pull it out whenever you want. You have the green one and I have the pink one! " she said, giggling. Akemi was obviously feeling better and didn't care about what had happened earlier anymore.
