The main courtyard is located in the center of Tenshi High. Most of the courtyard is covered in a soft green grass with oak and cherry trees interspersed through out. A grand marble fountain is in the center of the courtyard, ringed by matching marble benches. In the spring time, the cherry blossoms make quite a beautiful scene. More often than not, Chad can be found dosing under a shady tree.

Kathlyn walks through the coutyard eyeing the sleeping man curiously. She looks around and can't help but feel calm and centered here. It reminded her of somewhere...Kathlyn blinks and brings herself back to the present and gazes about the courtyard some more. She wanders about wondering what to do. She was late, which is evidently common for her, but unlike usually she was not directed anywhere.
So instead she wandered and explored the campus. She didn't have a schedule so she wasn't sure exactly what she was supposed to learn. Generally she was thrown in a bunch of boring basic classes she never went to anyway. As she walked through the beautiful area she felt herself charged with energy. She wanted to fight, or train, or do something.

Shinkirou yawned and stretched, "I can't believe not a one sudent has showed up yet. But then again, this is the first day. And we didn't have much of an orientation. Ah, we should have been more clear. Oh well, students will get the hang of things eventually...." She said to herself. She sniffed the air. "Oh. Seems we have a lost student. "
She turned around the corner to see Kathlyn. "Hello. My name is Shinkirou Yoruno, one of the teachers here. Welcome to Tenshi High. Are you lost?"

Kathlyn turned quickly towards the sound of a female voice. She relaxed at seeing Mrs. Yoruno and smiled, "um, yeah kinda." She said with laugh. "Seems I missed orientation. So I don't know my classes and I have no clue where to go. I figured I'd just sorta scope out the lay of the land."
She smiled to this teacher and looked around, "If you're a teacher does this mean that this is a classroom? Or something like that?" She looked at Mrs. Yoruno carefully then laughed, "Oh, I'm sorry! I forgot my manners! My name is Kathlyn Lewin." She gave the teacher a bow of the head and smiled, "It's nice to meet a teacher here Mrs Yoruno."

"To be honest, we didn't really have an orientation. Glissa thought it be better if the students find their own way around. Today, don't worry about finding your classes. Today you just need to get used to the area." She said with a soft tone.
"And don't worry. This isn't a classroom. Its the courtyard. Just a place to hang around in peace. Feel free to call me Shinkirou or Mrs. Yoruno. Which ever is more comfortable. It's nice to meet you Kathlyn. I believe you have my weapon's class, if I'm not mistaken? I think you'll like it a lot."

Kathlyn smiled brightly, "That's a relief Mrs. Yoruno. Seeing as that's what I was doing anyway. I'm really looking forward to your class to, I'm hoping it will help me out a lot." Kathlyn let out a soft sigh, "This place really IS peacful. It's so nice..."

She nodded. "I'm always glad help students. Glissa is the creator of this school, in case you were wondering. She plans to be a student too, though. I'm one of her trusted friends, and we're both demons. If you're not fond of demons, don't voice your opinion around Glissa. She's very proud of her heritage. I am too, but I won't murder you if you say you don't like them." She said. "Yes, I visit here occasianally. And by the way it's Ms., not Mrs." She added.

Kathlyn looked down to her feet, "I'm sorry. I do hope you'll forgive the slip Ms. Yoruno. I have no issues with demons of any kind. I myself am of a demonic race; and I perfer to judge no one by they're looks but rather by their attitude." She smiled nervously suddenly feeling all the good vibrations of the scenery to calm her. Her heart beat faster as though sensing approching danger. She had looked at the teacher shortly after apolizing; but now felt a danger to continue to look at her and so Kathlyn's eyes fell the the ground.
Kathlyn stood as strait as she could and called a smile back to her face. "It was very nice meeting you Ms. Yoruno" Kathlyns body tensed as though to prepare against an attack or a beating; although she felt certain one would not come. Still; she now felt on edge and uneasy. Even the slightly mistake could create problems later.

James entered the main courtyard and found a rather large oak tree. She climbed up towards the top and curled up on a branch. James was so used to the stars and the outdoors, that she couldn't see herself sleeping anywhere else except outside. Lying on her back, James gazed up to the stars, looking for the star that she and Michael had named Avalon. They had promised each other that one day they would find their Avalon together, but they never would. A single tear rolled down the softened cheek as James closed her eyes and slipped into a deep slumber, dreaming of her and Michael finding their beloved haven of the heavens, as he had put it so beautifully in one of his poems. The poem flashed through her mind.
Glistening sunlight on the dew grass. A mirror of my life reflected back to me from the shimmering ripples of icy air. A gentle sway of tails nips the morning cold as the airy sprite soothes my face. Haven of the Heavens. Haven of the Heavens. Among the airy sprite and gaia's strong branches sings the robin red a song of pure delight. The rising sun meets the cool Haven. I watch the changing tides with a circle of snow draped around me. The light of the world catches my grassy eyes and calls me off to the empty blue. Till another life, my darling Haven of the Heavens.
The image of their Haven of the Heavens burned into James' mind as she slept, for the first time since her family's death, peacefully.

"Don't worry about it," She said. "It's okay. And that's good, though I wouldn't mind it too much if you hated them. I'm just giving you a fore warning. She can get quite angry." She said, loking at the sky.
She noticed Kathlyn tense up and frowned. "Something wrong, Kathlyn? If worried about making a bad impression, don't. Glissa is a very nice person, and wouldn't dare hurt you, unless you seriously wished me harm, without you being in a bad mood or anything." She said, still looking at the sky.

James awoke from her peaceful slumber and, not being used to sleeping in a tree, went to roll onto her side and began falling straight towards the ground(go figure the ground being down lol 4laugh ). Using her elemental earth power, James quickly had the tree wrap one of its strong branches around her before she was set down onto the ground lightly. "I guess those powers really do come in handy." Once the branch released her, James looked around the courtyard, trying to decide where to venture first. She had yet to discover the location of her classes, but she didn't know when they were. James walked to the old church to clear her mind.

As she came out of the music hall, James realized that she hadn't eaten breakfast yet and began to sprint towards the dining room.

Glissa strolled in through the main courtyard, weaving back and forth as she walked. Her eyes were sagging and she was dragging her katana across the ground behind her, leaving a small trail in the grass. She had been out all last night. First she went hunting in the woods around the campus, slaying any wild creature that might have created a good fight. But she had quickly tired of that, so she ended up at the small village near by. As usual, she made her way to the Bird Wing Bar, and spent the rest of the night slinging back her favorite drink; Demon Snap. No mortal can withstand that drink. One sip and they'd be out cold. Its made from the strongest liquor around, a dark rum from the south-east islands. Its mixed with a blend of demon bane herbs, which gives it a powerful smell and taste, and lycanthrope blood, for added texture. God only knows how many mugs Glissa had downed, but now she was meandering around campus in a blissfuly fuzyblur. She made her way up a small hill, stumbling a few times along the way, and plopped down underneath a large oak tree.

She came back to the courtyard in the morning, sighing. "Still no students. Ah well. They'll show up eventually...."She looked at the top of the hill when she saw Glissa, Stoned. She made her up the hill and stood in front of Glissa. She smiled simply and said, "Glissa, Glissa. You've been drinking, huh? Well don't worry about. Nothing chaotic happened, not that you are a coherent state of mind to anything about it...." She sighed and bent down, offering a hand. "Need a hand?"

Kathlyn just smiled and shook her head although still feeling an unsettling feeling fill her lungs and heart. "It's nothing Mrs. Yoruno...I think I'm going to continue looking around the campus though. It was very nice to meet you." She said with a bow and then wandered off feeling the need to run or fly or do something. She felt a terrible desire to get away.
