XXXSilentleopard let her eyes close once again because the blurry scenery only caused her head to pound more. The darkness seemed much more appealing but she couldn't fall asleep anymore. Her body was currently shivering rapidly as it tried to retain whatever little body heat it had left. Once that was gone, Silentleopard would be at the mercy of the cold that was currently surrounding her body. A weak sigh escaped her mouth as her ears flicked forward, trying to hear if anyone was coming. She hoped someone had heard her cries or that someone would end up finding her. She wasn't sure of her condition so she wasn't sure how long she could last in this condition. All she knew was she was going to force air into her lungs until she couldn't anymore.
Minutes seemed to blend together as Silentleopard lay there, cold and waiting. At first she almost didn't believe her ears when she heard a faint voice, convincing herself that she had only imagined it, but then she heard it again and again. It sounded familiar and close too! A sense of relief flooded through Silentleopard as the voice continued to grow closer. She mewed as loud as she could, in hope that her voice would lead them to where she was. There it was again, the voice, and this time Silentleopard knew who it was coming from, Falconwind. Her mate was close by, he'd been looking for her, and now he was so close. She called for him once before growing silent, listening for him. He would be here soon, she knew he would.
"F-Falconwind?" she whispered as she felt something nosing her. It was only seconds later that his smell reached her nose and the white she-cat smiled weakly. He had found her. Silentleopard could hear the worry in his voice and, even though she knew it may hurt, she slowly forced her eyes open. The first thing she saw was the blurry black form of her mate by her side. She stared at him and blinked a few times in order to keep her eyes open. "Y-You found me..." she whispered hoarsely. Her throat still felt dry and rough but she was able to force a few quiet words out. Yowling earlier had definitely strained her throat even more than it had originally been. She coughed before pressing her nose against Falconwind, thankful that he had come so close. She could feel his warm fur against her and, while she was still shivering violently, his warmth gave her comfort and eased the cold slightly. "I-I couldn't... make it out of camp. I thought I was going to... going to d-die." Her soft blue eyes desperately searched for the black tom's yellow eyes, looking right at them. She felt completely at ease now and, for a few moments, the pain and cold seemed to fade as she took in the sight of her mate before her. She felt her body relax from the feeling of knowing she was now safe, because she knew Falconwind wouldn't let anything happen to her. He'd get her back to the others and have Radditfoot look at her. If she could hold off the pain till then, she'd be fine. She was safe now, everything was going to be alright.

EMBER SAYS: ((Okay, I've really got to slow down on the number of posts! But, Ohmygod! It's so depressing and so arge "must post" kind of a thing!))
Relief flooded the ebony tom at the sound of his mate's voice. She was alive! She was alive! He repeated this silently to himself as he pressed his muzzle against her. "I was so afraid I'd lost you!" Falconwind confessed quietly, only wanting his mate to hear, fearing he'd loose he again, he rushed, the words tumbling out as though they couldn't come fast enough. "At first I thought Guardianvow had taken you to the rest of the clan, but when you weren't their I could believe my eyes. I was so afraid I'd lost you. I'm so,so sorry! I should never have left your side, not even for a moment. When the rain began to fall I was so sure that one of the other warriors would think to come to you!" He whispered, pressing close to her, never wanting to leave her side. "I'm so sorry!"
Falconwind couldn't control the tremors that passed through his body from the relief of finding her. He hated himself for not being with her when she had needed him the most. However, he reminded himself, she needed him now, she was hurt badly and wouldn't be getting herself to the rest of the clan.
Letting out a shaky breath, he searched her clear blue gaze, looking for forgiveness. He loved his mate more than anything and couldn't bare the thought of loosing her or her being injured because of him. He pressed his muzzle against her's once more.
"Silentleopard, let's get you to the rest of the clan," he whispered. "I love you, and I will never leave your side again," he vowed.
Carefully she stood up and clasped her scruff in his teeth. He was going to do what he had done so long ago when they were apprentices, carry her on his back. In one swift motion, praying he wasn't hurting her, he jerked her upwards and lurched forwards so she landed on his back. He looked over his shoulder at her, amber gaze clouded with guilt and overwhelming fear for her.
He shifted to she was supported on his back and her hind legs wouldn't drag on the ground. "Ready?" He asked softly.

XXXSilentleopard couldn't help but feel bad about how much her mate was beating himself up over her accident. It wasn't his fault. He was the clan deputy and so he had to take care of the clan as well, he couldn't just watch over her every second. Besides, she was safe now, nothing horrible had happened or at least she hoped not. She was still a little disoriented but she was pushing through it. She stared up at her mate through her blurry vision vision, forgiveness already showing in them, forgiveness and love. She didn't blame him for what had happened, it had been an accident. She was crippled after all so things like this should have been expected. She couldn't move as quick as a normal cat and she wasn't as light on her paws as others. Just being a warrior at times was a fight, one she was determined to win. But that didn't mean she could undo what life had given her at birth. So there was always risk for something like this to happen. That was why it wasn't her mate's fault, it was no one's fault, but the black tom beside her didn't seem to realize this and it was killing Silentleopard to see Falconwind beat himself up about this.
"Shhhh, shhhh my love. It wasn't your fault. You have a clan to look after along with me, you had to help the others. It's okay, I don't blame you. Besides, it was an accident, just an accident," she mewed softly to her mate. She nuzzled against him before letting her head fall back onto the ground to ease the pain. Staring up at her mate, a small, slightly teasing, smile graced her muzzle. "Besides, you couldn't get rid of me even if you tried. I'm not going anywhere, Falconwind. You're stuck with me, now and forever."
She let her eyes close for a few seconds and sighed once again. Now she was starting to get tired again but she forced herself to stay awake. She didn't want to worry Falconwind by falling asleep. She would stay awake until they got back to the clan, when the medicine cat could treat her. When his muzzle touched hers, Silentleopard leaned into his touch with a smile. How she loved the tom before her; she could still remember the first night she had seen him. Ever since then, she had known that he would have been a part of her life somehow. Back then she had only been an apprentice and he had only been her best friend but it had developed since then into something much more, something she'd never willing give up.
"Okay... I love you too, Falconwind," she whispered, opening her eyes halfway.
In the back of her mind, Silentleopard wondered how he'd get her back to camp but she simply assumed he already had a plan. She didn't have to wait long for an answer because only a few seconds later she felt him grab her scruff and she immediately knew what he was doing. Another smile spread across her face as she remembered the game they had played the first night they met at the gathering. He had carried her on her back as they raced around the clearing without a care in the world. It had been the first time Silentleopard had ever experienced running and she had loved it. Now, it was a good thing that she hadn't grown much since that night. She had obviously been the runt of her little since she was obviously the smallest of her siblings. She was probably just a little bigger than the average of the apprentice and fairly light as well. This all made her easy to carry so she wasn't worried that she'd hurt Falconwind with her weight. She was far to light to do that.
As she was hauled onto the black tom's back, Silentleopard couldn't hold back a groan of pain as her head pounded painfully. The rest of her body was still sore but the head pain drowned most of it out, minus the cold. However she felt far warmer now that she was securely on her mate's back. She held on with her front paws as tight as she could and buried her head into Falconwind's warm black fur. Now that she was out of the cold water, Silentleopard felt a little better than before, especially knowing that her mate was with her.
Her eyes half open, the white she-cat looked at her mate and mewed, "Yes... I'm ready. My head just really hurts, I think I hit it on something."

Before Timeskip
Shimmerstep poked her head out of the medicine den, silver eyes bright. She had been getting an herb from Rabbitfoot for a bellyache when she had noticed her mate had returned. And had a stalker, of all things. Shimmerstep pulled herself from the den, keeping a keen eye on her mate and poor Olivekit. She could tell that Guardianvow had had a hard time on his hunt, judging by his posture and over-grumpy facial expression. Her silver eyes darkened as she approached, then watched as Guardianvow plucked his tail from Olivekit's grasp. The bengal she-cat opened her mouth to protest, but her attention was drug away from her mate as another cat nearly barreled into her. With a huff and a deep breath, Shimmerstep turned as she heard Foxstar's voice. Her limbs protested; she was gradually growing more and more tired as days wore on. The past few sunrises had taken their toll on the young she-cat. Her belly had grown more picky, and her weight seemed to have doubled. A nagging thought kept pricking at the back of her mind, but she rarely had time to dwell on it. It was a familiar sensation.
Shimmerstep shook her head to clear her thoughts, then listened closely to Foxstar's instructions. Seemingly, the medicine den and the nursery was taken care of. Hurriedly, Shimmerstep caught a quick glimpse of her mate before she was swept away in a flurry of activity. Shimmerstep fought her way to the elders' den, rushing to anyone's aid. She fought to keep her own balance as the rain began to pour down. Thank StarClan she had a short pelt! Shimmerstep nosed an elder to his feet, then propelled him forward with her own shoulder and weight. She struggled up the hil, but eventually, the pair were able to make it to the refuge in the wave of cats. From there, the most Shimmerstep could do was wait. And hope.
After Timeskip
Shimmerstep opened her silver eyes to sunlight. Droplets of water clinging to the plants and trees winked in the light. Shimmerstep was curled up tightly next to her mate, Guardianvow. The she-cat was content to remain where she was, but knew there were things to be done. Her jaws parted in a huge yawn, her pink tongue unrolling in midair. She craned her neck to lick at her belly, which seemed to have grown overnight. Groaning softly, Shimmerstep laid her head back down on Guardianvow's shoulder. Despite the lack of appetite she had been encountering recently, her weight seemed to have doubled. And so had her bellyaches! Shimmerstep had only avoided the inevitable. She had to realize it eventually: she had kits on the way. When or how she would tell her mate, the golden she-cat had no idea. Especially with his aversion to kittens! Sighing, Shimmerstep closed her eyes again. She was tired. Oh, so tired...

EMBER SAYS: ((Aw man, I feel like such a troll...))
Falconwind squared his shoulders and whipped his head around to glare at the boggy area ahead of him. He wanted to move slowly for her, but a sense of urgency washed over him. He had to get her to Rabbitfoot, now!
"I'm going to run, alright?" He warned Silentleopard as he bunched his hind legs and launched forwards, sinking his claws into the earth for grip as he dashed through the forest towards the rest of the clan. Unlike when they were apprentices, there was no enjoyment in this run for Falconwind only the pressing urgency that he had to get his mate to Rabbitfoot and fast.
It was in this instant that he silently thanked StarClan for being half BreezeClan and for the amazing ability to out run his clanmates in these situations. He shot through the territory, splashing and struggling through muddy boggy areas, having to adjust his gait to accommodate the terrain. In the dryer areas he was able to travel more quickly, though, he always made sure he was aware of his mate's condition.
He bared his teeth and growled at a fallen tree that lay across his path, instead of slowing down and skirting it, he picked up his pace, gritted his teeth, and hurtled himself at the log, trusting his muscles to carry his over it. He sailed over the fallen tree and landed on the other side, skidding, he had to sink his claws into the ground to stop without sending his mate toppling. Much to his distaste however he found himself chest deep in freezing water that soaked to his bone and made him cough heavily.
Panting heavily, he breathed, "Almost there."
When they finally arrived in the sudo "camp," his chest heaved and his legs were trembling. He padded boldly forward (with his mate securely on his back) however and called out, body trembling, "Where's Rabbitfoot? We need him now!"
"Memory is the treasury and guardian of all things." _______________________________________________
Guardianvow raised his head, watching his mate shift next to him. His normally cold grey eyes were filled with warmth as he watched her slowly awaken. "Mornin', sweetheart," he purred, flicking his tail. "You tired out quickly." Sungaze had taken over his supervision of the kittens gratefully, and Guardianvow retired to watch over his mate, who had been rather weak as of late. He was worried for her health. He had considered talking to Rabbitfoot about it but knew his mate might be angered by it. So ask her or talk to Rabbitfoot...that was the question! His fur rose slightly, and he whirled his head around, staring off into an indiscreet direction. Immediately, he sensed something wrong. It had been nagging at him before. Something's not right. All at once, a thought crossed his mind that made him jump to his feet. Where's Silentleopard? He hadn't seen her at all since the flood. His heart raced. How could he leave her like that?! He had trusted Falconwind to care for her! How stupid could he be?! He should have watched Silentleopard himself! (Though he himself was busy transporting herbs and kittens...) He dashed away without another word, his paws squelching through the drowned ground. Mud splashed his underbelly and tugged at his pelt but he ignored it, his eyes blazing with anger, determination, and fear. He spotted them and his heart skipped a beat when he saw their condition.
He practically stomped up to Falconwind, nearly spitting fire. "You absolute dimwit!" he snarled. "How could you let Silentleopard get like this? You're supposed to protect her as her mate!" Without waiting for a response, he continued on furiously. "Some deputy you are! You can't even keep your mate safe! A kit could do better than you! What, did you leave her out there all night? She looks half-drowned! To think I trusted you with her safety! Mouse-brained, idiotic, completely-" "Guardianvow! That is enough!" a voice snarled out.
Guardianvow visibly flinched, but regained his composition. He didn't look behind him to see Foxstar's furious form lashing its tail. He continued glaring with fiery silver eyes at Falconwind. "You will not speak to your deputy this way!" Foxstar growled, baring his teeth. "I thought you were raised better than that." "My parents were both dead before I was apprenticed," Guardianvow said flatly. "Silentleopard is my sister, and I'll not tolerate her being ignored. She could have drowned. She almost did! That idiot-" "Falconwind was following orders," Foxstar hissed. "He was serving his Clan! It is unfortunate that Silentleopard had to survive the flood alone, but she survived because she is a tough NightClan warrior. If anything, it proves she shouldn't be treated like a helpless kit." Now Guardianvow met his leader's gaze, staring at Foxstar incredulously. "She has no movement in her hind legs," he growled. "I don't doubt her abilities as a warrior, but during a flood? She can't swim for spit! Someone should have been with her!" "Then that is your mistake, as well as the rest of the Clan's," Foxstar retorted. "We should have been more careful. We will be in the future. Stop making a scene. We need to get her to Rabbitfoot as soon as possible." Guardianvow began to protest when Foxstar hissed, "Silence. That's an order!" Guardianvow closed his jaws, glowering at the leader and at Falconwind furiously. If looks could kill, Falconwind would be long gone.
Turning to Silentleopard and Falconwind, Foxstar said kindly, "Rabbitfoot is busy sorting the herbs we salvaged. He's had his paws full at the moment. Follow me, I'll lead you to him." Foxstar began to lead them to the bush that Rabbitfoot had stored his herbs and was now residing in. (( If anything, guys, just say Rabbitfoot looked her over and gave her some herbs. I don't know where Ana is but we'll be PMing her. ))
((It's so hard to RP without brackets! I put them in automatically. This is the only place I RP in so I've always used them XD Oh-and just a note- I don't share any of the beliefs Guardianvow has aboot the situation. Sorry if I was too harsh with his hissy fit but he's the Clan grump so... he has a reputation to live up to! :0 ))

Pine-eyes Are you alive, or not? ✓┏━━━━━━━━━┓✗ - Poppy seeds clung together due to wetness entered his realm and now he will sleep it off. -
- Befores- Pine-eyes was rumbling with a low growl as the rain battered his pelt, splashing it with dark gray and causing him to paradoxically look as if he had lost weight as his fur clung to his frame and making him feel as if he'd gained it as the water absorbed into his pelt as well, urging it toward the ground. Furious at the indignity of the storm and chilled down to the bone, he barely recalled himself getting up to attend to Foxstar's orders. Seeing no use in kits and finding that elders had rather disliked him since that time as a kit that he had interrupted and denounced all of their stories as self induced dreams from too much poppy seeds, Pine-eyes found himself slogging toward the medicine den. Just as he crossing the clearing, head down, concentration full on getting his paws to resist the impending slip of the mud, a form that he vaguely recalled as Falconwind hurriedly shoved a bundled of herbs into his jaws and sprinting off. Feeling harried by the experience, Pine-eyes took off as well, toward the make shift camp as directed. A split opened in the herb bundle as he crashed through the foliage and a small alarm cried out in the back of his mind as a berry or cluster of some sort maneuvered it's way toward the back of his throat and he swallowed inadvertently to prevent choking. His eyes widened with fear as he realized the complete possibility that he had just eaten death berries. Falconwind had no medicinal knowledge. It was entirely plausible that he had filled the pack with death berries and that Pine-eyes had just.... Foxdung. Panic weaseled it's way into his run and he was on a dead on (yet still rather clumsy) sprint for the camp, praying like a medicine cat to the Starclan he didn't believe in that he'd actually just swallowed a crushed leaf, or even a rather large spider carcass was a better option, he reasoned. A slow sense of grogginess began to blur his vision , and his movements began to take on a lethargic trait as if the density of the air he was moving through had just increased in consistency. Was this what dying felt like? Was the world just going to slowly close around him till he couldn't move at all and would remain a frozen statue in time? What would his body look like when they found it? He hoped it wouldn't be frothing at the mouth or something unpleasant like that. He wanted his body to look nice and presentable for the mourning. Maybe have a few bright objects scattered near it to help set off his naturally beautiful pelt. With a final bound, Pine-eyes landed within the confines, padded forward to greet a pleasant enough niche, and, without a moments notice, collapsed, letting the herb bundle tumble out of his jaw.
Afters: Pine-eyes slept for long periods of time, having only brief moments when he would rouse to lap up water in moss and mouthfuls of meat that were presented to him after a sharp prodding.

EMBER SAYS: ((Aw man, I feel like such a troll...))
Falconwind was fully prepared for Guardianvow's hostility when he returned to the Clan's make shift camp, but he was not prepared for how much it felt like the other tom's accusations were correct. Also, another realization dawned upon the ebony tom; he was enraged with Foxstar's indifference to his mate's condition! The NightClan leader had completely blown off the fact that she nearly died! A new found anger exploded in Falconwind and he would have gladly lept on either tom and clawed their ears off; however, he new better and only bowed his head in acknowledgement of what had been said. But that couldn't stop the anger from pressing in on him and making him feel like he would explode at any second.
However, all that couldn't stop him from spitting out at Guardianvow. "What about you?! You have never left Silentleopard and me along for more than a heartbeat! You're so fully and completely over protective of her that any cat with half a mouse's brain would think she would be the first cat that you would think of! I love Silentleopard more than you could ever imagine and you will never understand what that means, because I know that it's my fault I didn't give at least one warrior orders to help her if having done it myself. So what you want, Guardianvow, may it be true or not, but I will carry this guilt with me for the rest of my life. Now get out of my way and let me take care of my mate!"
Falconwind's paws were trembling with anger and exhaustion and his eyes shone rage. With that she pushed past Guardianvow and completely ignore whatever Foxstar would say now. He knew that he should never have said anything and just let go of what had been said, he should have kept his cool because he was clan deputy! But in this instance, there was no way he could just let go of Guardianvow's accusations.
"I'm sorry, Silentleopard," he breathed as he paced towards the make shift medicine cat's den. "I should never have let my anger get out of control." It was now that he bowed his head and his paws felt like they were weighed down by rocks.
He slid his mate carefully off of his back and drew his tongue across her ear apologetically, he would not leave her side until she was looked at and treated, even if he was deputy, he could not abandon her, not again.
OOC: Cats should be able to detect pregnancy due to hormonal changes and hence a change in their smell. Ghostwhisper can probably tell because he's older - if her belly is beginning to swell up, it's around 4 weeks in. Okayed with Leo :3
After Ghostwhisper dropped off his bundle of herbs in the makeshift dens, he dashed back towards the flooding campsite as quickly as his bogged down fur would allow, looking for any cats that needed help. It seemed that the kits and elders were mostly being cared for, although even if they needed help he would hesitate before lending a paw, knowing that they would not appreciate it. He was about to turn back when he suddenly noticed a familiar black and white pelt stumbling around in the mud, wheezing for breath and obviously struggling. He didn't need to take a guess to know that it was Blossomstream and remembering the strong stench of sickness being emitted from her. Picking his way through the mud over to the tuxedo, Ghostwhisper grabbed her scruff in his teeth and started half-carrying, half-dragging her along back to the caves where they were taking shelter. He sincerely hoped that the sickness won't be transmitted easily, and that she had fainted so that she won't flip out at the sight of his masked features. Exhaustion quickly overtook him by the time he arrived back at the caves, after dropping Blossomstream off in an isolated spot, he chose a secluded spot at the edge of the cave, where he curled up tightly into a white ball of fur and fell asleep almost immediately.

Before Timeskip
"B-Brother...w-what's...happening...to me.." she mumbled faintly.
The illness was spreading and seized her health. It felt as if a bundle of viruses embedded into her womb and injected a venomous chemical. Her head felt heavy and stiff, pounding off sharp pains. The aches soon reached all of her limbs, preventing her from making the effort to walk the smallest distance. Panic risen from her body to her mind, frantic as to what's happening. The sound of her surroundings started to dim and gradually muted. She could only hear the distorted and weak rhythm of her heartbeats. Her lower lids started to moisten and swell with large masses of tears. She was scared...frightened...ill. With much struggle, she managed to get on all four paws and stagger crookedly to the entrance of the den. Many warriors tried calling her name and question her strange behaviour; however neither of their concerned tones nor sensitive touches were transmitted to her. The only comfort she wished to grasp onto was her beloved brother. His absence only made the situation even more horrific. Frequently, she lost control of her balance and tripped over her own paw. Even her own sight started to deceive her as they grew blurry and distorted. No, not my sight! Blossomstream stretched her emerald gaze to its limit, hoping it will overpower her vision; however she failed miserably. At this point, Blossomstream grew desperate and despite her shyness, was willing to take anyone's help. Anyone! All her perceptions eventually stopped their natural functions. Am...am I going to...
"Die?" she whispered faintly.
The she-cat slowly and gently closed her eyes. Her body grew numb, shutting down. Dark shades were deeply colored on her lids, her mouth was dry and fur matted from the flood and dirt. She looked fatally ill and...dead.
After Timeskip
"You look much better, how are you feeling?" one of the toms asked, worry clouding his eyes.
Blossomstream was glowing with health. Her emerald gaze shined brightly, the dark circles vanished, the soaking scent of NightClan entered her clear nostrils and her natural beauty was finally replenished. A few of the toms have been worried over her health, bringing her meals at a daily basis. She was thankful for their help; however still had troubles communicating with her clan mates. In conversations, she would struggle and over-thank those who volunteered. She was ashamed of her habits, but nothing could be helped. The time is approaching for her to leave this isolated den and see her beloved Lionfur. Oh how much she missed her brother! These past days felt like eternity with his absence. Time, itself, was slowing down. With a shy smile, she nosed her delivered meal and avoided eye contact.
"T-Thank you.." she whispered. It was silent. "I should leave you to your meal, please feel better soon, Blossomstream." the warrior coughed, leaving the den in smooth paw-steps.
Blossomstream looked past the entrance, deeply pondering about something. Her lips parted slightly while she tried to remember. It was a question that needed to be answered. Finally, it came to her. The she-cat widened her stare and looked back at the departing tom.
"W-Wait! There is something I must ask you!" she said, in a shaky and shy tone. The warrior looked back at her with a puzzled look. "What is it?" "T-This certain cat...two days ago, who saved me from the flood? Who brought me to this very den? Do you know?" He thought for a bit, but then shook his head. "I'm sorry, I don't know."
Blossomstream's gaze darkened from the lack of hope but nodded politely. The tom then left the den and reported back to his duties. She starred down at her scrawny meal for a while, ears fluttering anxiously. Who saved me? ◄

My eyes blinked open when a drop of water dripped onto my head. We had a flood. Again. Had we done something to cause this misfortune upon us? Whatever it was I wasn't going to sit here and soak up all the water in my already wet pelt. I scrambled out of the tree I had resided in just as another droplet of water hit the spot where my head had been just a moment before. Upon reaching the bottom I gave my fur a big shake and then padded over to where the kits were.
I loved kits. Never had any of my own but I still loved the kits. I scrambled into the den where the kits resided and suppressed a purr. Taking a seat, I curled my fluffy tail around my paws and settled in to keep an eye on the sleeping kits. Memories in the Mist
((I've talked to Leo and I'm taking Rabbitfoot until Ana returns))
Rabbitfoot
The medicine-cat was busy with his deeds. As the minutes past by, more deadly casualties entered the NightClan camp. It was a disaster. Quickly, Rabbitfoot spotted the specific leaves known as fevers. He picked up a small amount and rushed over to Blossomstream, setting the herbs in front of her paws.
"Eat these after you finish your meal, it'll help with your cough and fever," he instructed abruptly, rushing back to his herb pile without another word.
He finished delivering herbs to the wounded and sick in his den. It felt like an intense training! The medicine-cat pushed aside a bundle of herbs reserved for any future queens. He would have to rush to their side and aid them through the unbearable process.
Another dreadful scent of a wounded entered his thick nostrils. Rabbitfoot turned around to set his gaze upon Silentleopard. Her state looked close to deadly. Immediately, Rabbitfoot used his claws to shed the petals and leaves from a bundle of marigolds along with a couple of thyme. He pushed the clumps of herbs torward Silentleaopard. "Eat these herbs quickly," he instructed.
Rabbitfoot then turned his gaze to Falconwind, his eyes clouded with sympathy and worry.
"I understand your concern over your mate; however she needs her rest. You can visit her later on in the day," he stated simply.

EMBER SAYS: Sorry, that the post is so short, I have to leave.
Falconwind flattened his ears at Rabbitfoot. Even though the medicine cat was his best friend, he wouldn't stand for leaving his mate's side. "I'm staying right where I am," he growled defensively. The cold rushes of fear for Silentleopard were overwhelming. He laid against her back and rested his chin on her shoulder, squeezing his eyes closed and ran his chin gently across her neck and shoulder in a back-and-forth motion for comfort, not only for her but also for himself.
The exhaustion he'd tried to hold at bay finally slammed down on Falconwind's shoulder's. He hadn't slept since the NightClan camp had been flooded and he hadn't eaten since before then. Stretching his paws out in front of him, the ebony tom relaxed his tense muscles and settled with his head resting on his mate's shoulder. Finally, sleep washed over the NightClan deputy and he was glad.
The lithe, dark form of Tigerfang slithered into the clearing with silent paw steps. Her emerald eyes smoldered with a sort of quelled emotion in the shadows, and from her mouth dangled a skinny little frog. It wasn't much, considering the flood they had just suffered from, but she dropped it in the fresh-kill pile anyway. Besides, hunting wasn't her primary reason for taking the outing. She needed to think, stretch out her limbs. After so many days of being cooped up in camp or in the nursery, she needed some time off. And it was grand. She never felt more alive when she felt the soft pricking of pine needles underpay with a sharp NightClan wind raking over her fur and filling her senses. Her limbs operated smoothly, her entire body humming in sync with the heartbeat of the dim forest. The only thing that was uncomfortable was the constant wetness on her paws from the flood. She had to flick them around to get rid of the excess water from time to time. A slight inconvenience, to be sure, but nothing serious. She had been out for a while, but not long enough for anyone to worry.
Still, I hardly think they've noticed my absence... she thought, giving a fleeting glance to her clan mates.
Once she was done depositing her kill, she let out a deep, contented sigh. All was well in her life. Her two kits were growing up fast, and they already seemed to have become accustomed to living on their own. True, they were still kits, but Tigerfang always encouraged them to be independent and strong without always having to rely on mother for help. But of course, that didn't stop Orchidkit from bouncing up to her in her normal manner of excitement.
"Hi Mama!" she said in her squeaky little voice. "How was your walk? I missed you!"
Tigerfang nuzzled her daughter with her nose gently and purred, "Hello, dear, I missed you, too. My walk went just fine...just needed a quick stretch."
"Can I come with you next time?" Orchidkit chirped, raising her tail in the air.
"When you're an apprentice, dear," Tigerfang replied, her voice taking an automatic tone as she repeated the all to familiar phrase.
Orchidkit's tail fell and ears drooped simultaneously as she whined, "Aw, come on, Mama! Just for a moment!"
"Absolutely not,"Tigerfang said in a slightly annoyed tone at her daughter's whine. But she softened her tone as she continued, "You'll be an apprentice soon enough, dear. For now, just try to be patient."
Tigerfang closed her eyes for a few seconds, taking a deep breath as the slightly stifling air of camp started to creep into her senses. She wished she could be of more use to the Clan after the flood, but cats kept telling her that she was a queen, and just to rest. Tigerfang always replied some insulting retort, which only served to put off her clan mates from talking to her even more so than usual. She hated being helpless. Couldn't they see she was just as capable, if not more capable, of helping around camp as her clan mates were? She grit her teeth in annoyance, feeling her ears swivel against her head and her tail start to lash. Her daughter had since scampered off to some odd corner in the camp, so Tigerfang was now left alone to seethe in her own helplessness.

Dark-kit entered into the clearing, his icy blue eyes looking around and observing his surroundings. He saw quite a few warriors roaming the area. Dark-kit sat at the entrance to the nursery and watched, simply observing.
