Saspra yawned and packed her stuff before hopping onto Shadow. She'd been sleeping for the majority of the day because... Well, she was a lazy person and with the rain keeping her from doing anything remotely close to productive she'd decided to nap the day away. She looked over to both her right and her left to see if she'd recognize anyone from either of the groups. It'd be no fun to take the trip alone after all.

User ImageCorn tagged along a little late as the groups were called to order. She was finally getting the hang of riding her rented Onix, and directed him towards the organizing groups. In the cadre of green-marked Pokemon, the last in line, she waited with nervous excitement for the okay to leave.

Penelope finished up gathering supplies and returning to the stables right before the rain stopped.
Bongo was awake now, and munching from a large trough of poke'chow. He looked curiously at Penelope as she approached him.
"Uhh... hey there..." She reached out her hand to touch the rock pokemon's nose. He seemed friendly. She climbed up onto Bongo's head and tied the red scarf around his, then directed him out with the rest of the gathering red group.

Lucine hurried up to Bill, knocking into his desk with her hip as she did so. Her hair stood up a frizzy nest of moisture-induced tangles.

"I'm not late am I?" She gasped, scrawling her name down and darting out to the stables.

"Cutting it close, miss!" Bill called after her. Lucine waved her hand in acknowledgment and hurried into the stables towards her rented ponyta.

"Hi, gorgeous," she sighed, slowing down so as not to spook the beast. She rubbed its velvety nose and felt her heart rate slow to a more comfortable pace. She wasn't late; the stables were packed.

At that thought she saw the movement towards the door and huffed. Well, not late but certainly cutting it close. She quickly mounted her ponyta and settled in for a comfortable ride.

Growing up on a farm had some advantages; she was very comfortable on the back of the pokemon and quickly angled her mount through the crowd.

Her goal was a familiar pink-haired girl riding a similar red sashed ponyta. When she got closer Lucine smiled and said, "You look lovely, Lumina."

"Prrrrrrr . . . " rumbled Avella, impatient. Meeka cast her a look and chuckled. "The weather's clear up." she commented amongst the people in her little 'group'. "And this little birdie here wants to get a'flying. Aha."

The Pidgeot once again cocked its head and shuffled impatiently. Meeka laughed and took a seat, the Pikachu settling for sitting upon the breeder's straw hat. "See you guys in Motterosa!" she chimed. "Bye Rhia, Opal, Zen! Have fun if you guys are in groups!"

With that last input, the Pidgeot shoved itself off the ground with a loud slap and clouded dust in her wake. "Mark to Motterosa!" Meeka chimed again to the Pidgeot and the bird Pokemon took off, darting into a set of cottony cumulonimbus clouds. "Woo!"

In an attempt to free himself from actually conversing with another, Teddy literally ran. Yes, turned right around and sprinted to the furthest part of the building. He needed to choose a Pokemon anyway.

Stopping at the very end, he leaned against the wooden wall to catch his breath. Sadly, anything that required any sort of effort made the boy grow tired. No stamina. Unless it was for something that benefited him. But that was a totally different story.

Sighing, he went back to relying on his two feet to stay up right. The task at hand was to find a suitable ride. Which seemed quite impossible at the time due to most of the rentals already having being...well...rented. But few did remain, the closet to him was a Tauros. A old one at that.

" You will be the Pokemon that I'll bless to carry me over. " Teddy declared while looking for a nametag. " I'll name you Geezer cause I could careless about your actual name. "

Teddy didn't really look all that marvelous. He didn't look marvelous at all, but Miriam decided not to comment on that. Instead, she just smiled at him and said a quiet, "Indeed, I can see." That was all she said to the teenager, however. As much as she would have liked to stay and chat there were other, more pressing matters at hand. Like letting Allene out and going on ahead to scout the trail, for example. In order to do this, the ranger excused herself from Teddy's side and moved off out of the stables. The sun's rays were warming the air now, and she couldn't help but smile at this. Finally -- some good fortune! This was perfect traveling weather.

A hand reached down after this and clasped on to one of her pokeballs. Grasping it, she then threw it up in the air and released the pokemon inside. Allene the Rampardos appeared again, fully geared up with her makeshift saddle and all of her trainer's supplies ready to go. "C'mon, Fubuki," said the ranger to the Delibird. "We're heading out." The ice/flying type pokemon jumped up in excitement when he heard Miri say this. Flailing his wings happily, he then shuffled over and allowed his trainer to pick him up.

With Fubuki in her arms, Miriam then climbed up into the saddle. Her head turned backward after that, and her rain boot-covered slipped into the stirrups of the saddle. She was giving everything a quick glance over to make sure everything was in place. Supplies? Check. All the appropriate gear? Check. Fubuki sitting in front of her in the saddle? Double-check! "And we're good to go!"

Allene received a gentle nudge with her trainer's boots, and with that, the group was off. They began to make their way ahead of the caravan groups (whom would be traveling at a slower pace to make sure everyone stayed together) in order to check out the surrounding areas. Their new journey was finally under way, and Miriam could tell already that it was going to be a good one. No - a great one; Fubuki could feel it, too!

User Image"Seeya later, Lisa~!" Kary called, grabbed one more little snack, and then headed out to the stable where she left Boss. Sure enough, when she got back, there was the Tauros still practically on top of her backpack, staring at her as if he heard her coming.

"Alright, Boss," She said, "Time to head on out~!" The wild bull Pokemon stood, Kary put on her backpack (with an extra strap around her middle to keep it from bouncing too much), and clambered on the Tauros.

Once again, Boss took over. As soon as they were out, the Tauros headed towards where he knew the others would gather before they left in a group. Like Lisa's Sleip, Boss also wanted to be at the front of the group, so there he went.

"Oh, hi again, Lisa. Looks like we picked leaders, eh?" Kary said with a laugh, less directing her mount and more along for the ride.

Seeing the weather changing into a more agreeable one, Ezekiel got on Cooper as the large canine pokemon stood up and shook himself again before he started walking slowly.
The researcher looked about, quiet relaxed on the massive creature as he looked at the others starting to mobilize or getting ready to. It was certainly interesting but he couldn't really spot eithre person he had been talking to earlier, maybe they would appear later.

Nishant yawned, his jeweled eyes looking about as he perched on Cooper's head, quiet happy that they were finally moving, but still feeling too lazy to actually do any moving himself, so the sableye made himself comfortable next to his trainer.

"So it is!" Kurai grinned and gave Hissy Cow the signal to fall in with Anima's Ponyta and the group. She blinked at the lone Onix in the group and waved to it and the trainer riding it.

"Good thing the weather cleared back up, isn't it!" Best to be friendly!

Seeing that her Tauros had a red bow on its tail, how manly, Brianna quickly realized she was in the red group... and they were leaving. Catching sight of several red scarves exiting the building.

"Agh.. shoot! Come on, boy!"

The Tauros huffed and trotted after his temporary trainer.

"Hey wait up!" Brianna shouted as she tried to catch up with her group.

It was time to get going, and Psywater still hasn't come back yet. Lizzie was impressed at his perseverance, or ignorance, or whatever it was. But she can't be wasting time because he decided to goof off.

"Kestrel! Go!" She released her other flying Pokemon, a Pidgeot, and promptly climbed onto his back. Though this Pokemon was more obedient, she was afraid of using him for long rides, since he wasn't trained for that kind of journey. And Psywater got jealous when she suggested it too...

The Pidgeot managed to get up to a couple feet before giving out and crashing to the ground. Like she said, he wasn't used to carrying a trainer on his back.

"... Wow... We really need to work on that." Lizzie readjusted her hat and brushed some dirt off her clothes. She really hoped no one saw that. So instead of riding on the Pidgeot, she sent him up to lure the Lugia back. With food.

User Image"Well, if it isn't miss Lucine!" The young watcher beamed, "I wasn't sure if you'd make it or not. It's been a while, glad to see you're doing well."

Lumina rose the reigns slightly on the ponyta, "And look, I got some tips from other trainers to not fall off in an instant." She settled back in, the sway of the ponyta beneath her putting her into a comfortable pattern. "Here to watch or to catch?"

User ImageSleipnir snorted as the Tauros approached him, taking a few steps forward to keep ahead of the encroaching pokemon. Lisa nodded, "Well hello again! It seems we have. By the way, I'm not sure I caught your name the first time." Bandit wagged his tiny mouse tail in anticipation for the trip.
