Kent had left the girls and gone to his room, but strangely sleep came quickly for him. His dreams were of Loki and how she would stare at him in such a way. They shifted to the days on the farm and Evelyn sitting on a fence while Kent brought the horses out from the stable. It was strange that he would dream about people he just met and incorporate them into his dreams about his past. Kent felt a warm sensation against his face and a bright light pulled him from sleep slowly. He opened his eyes and through is window the sun was shining. He pulled himself to his feet and stretched while making his bed and grabbing things for the shower. Oh course it wasn't long before Kent showered and cleaned up. He would adorn his usual attire or a blue tank top and a pair of workout shorts. The term the guys back home used for this type of attire was "Bro'ed Out" and the thought of it made Kent smile.

Kent put on his shoes and walked outside his room to look down the hall for anyone he knew. He didn't catch anyone he knew in sight so he went back inside his room and locked the door. He would open up his guitar case and pull out his old friend to admire it. After a moment he would walk over to his bed and sit down with a smile on his face. His eyes would close as he began to tune the old guitar. The sounds echoing out into the hall and down it a ways before fading out. It was something that started his days off well. A nice song or two played on the guitar was comforting and relaxing to him. It was all about the feeling of being home. Something always came over Kent when he picked up that guitar, it had been given to him by his father. The man Kent had the most respect for in his life. A man that Kent admired and wanted to be like. Kent pulled the guitar close once the tuning was right. Slowly he began to play the first song that came to mind. The sounds echoed down the hall loud enough for those around the same hall to hear.

You ask me why I'm reckless....
[[It depends. Your character might not be at morning yet, so don't worry about rushing. ^_^ The time skip can happen whenever you can fit it in.]]

Asp woke up shivering. Mist danced about her in the quiet forest. The sun had completely set, and stars twinkled between the pine treetops. Asp sat up with a gasp, she'd been sleeping soundly on the lichen-covered stones. Her feet made crunching noises as she sped across the forest floor.

She made it back to Lunare, slipping through the gate as the sky finished darkening. She didn't expect to see anyone else out this late, so a tiny yelp escaped her mouth when a deep voice sounded from behind her. "Are you lost, Cariño?"

.....And I'll respond with, "Why aren't you?"

By the time Gael had awoken from his nap it was dark. He cursed in Spanish under his breath and kicked his covers off. Now I'll be up all damn night He rubbed the back of his neck and peeked out the window, the cool glass making the hairs on the back of his hand stand up. He moved towards his door, grabbing a white button down from his chair and buttoning it as the door closed behind him.

The stairwell was lit with the light from the long window framed in cool stone, and outside, Gael could see the silhouette of a girl padding across the grass. A smile curled along his lips. Little deer shouldn't wander into a wolf's territory

The handsome youth finished walking down the stairs and softly pushed open the door to the outside. The girl was walking away from him and it was an easy task to sneak up behind her. "Are you lost, Carino?" he asked in a deep bass. The girl's shoulders jumped a little and she spun around.
"I'm not lost, just exploring" she retorted quickly. The dark-haired male moved close to her, coming so close as to have his bare toes touch her own. His breath was warm, and puffed lightly onto her cheeks. He took her hand and kissed it, "My name is Gael" he said, looking up at the girl through his lashes, "Anything I can show you?"

What's my problem?. . .

Loki’s dreams were full of magic and fire dancing as her mind played out the events she had read in her book.

In her dream, she was the main character, Meggie. Dustfinger had promised her a surprise and she could not wait. When everyone was asleep, she snuck out of Eleanor’s mansion and around the back. Dustfinger was waiting. She sat down on the grass and the show began. Dustfinger produced a flame, seemingly out of nowhere and lit a baton, then another and another. He began to juggle them and do a sorts of magical tricks. She was amazed. The fire was so beautiful wgen he played with it. It was as if he spoke to, sweetly so it would do what he wanted. Then the dream turned away from the book. Dustfinger put a devilish grin on his face and the fire grew large and wild. It flew at her and engulfed her in its burning heat.

Loki woke in a fury, sitting up quickly and huffing. She looked around the room and remembered where she was. She turned to look out the window to see the blue mist of early morning, an hour before sunrise. She wiped sweat off her brow and untangled herself from her sheets. A sigh escaped her as she rose out of the bed and shuffled to the window, where she folded her knees and gazed out. She glanced at her sleeping roommate, Kata. Though they had met the day before, she knew almost nothing about her, whereas she knew more about Evelyn and the lovely Kent than this girl. Loki sighed and returned her gaze to the window, thinking she would get to know Kata soon.

. . .Its a long story.

A wise man learns by the mistakes of others. . .

-Sunday Morning-

Rosto woke up early, as per usual, his emerald eyes shiny and glistening from a restful night. He yawned and stretched, scratching his side. He groggily got out of bed and scuffed his way to the bathroom. After a quick shower, he brushed his teeth and went to put on some clothes. He put on his nice white collared shirt and crisp pants, stuffing his shirt into the waist of his pants before pulling on a pair of socks. He put on his Sunday shoes a clean tie, and combed his hair. Rosto liked to be the first one to get to the cathedral. It was quiet from all the noise save from the early birds singing their chirpy tunes.

He slipped out of his room and strolled briskly down the halls, making his way to the cathedral. When he entered the great wooden doors, he went to the small bowl of Holy Water and with practiced fluidity, dipped his fingers in and made the sign of the cross. "In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost."he recited. He walked down the isle and knelt before a pew, before taking a seat, folding his hands together, and bowing his head. He always liked Sundays. The cathedral was one place where he could be open and free. Rosto breathed in deeply and exhaled all of the week's weight that had accumulated on his heart.

. . . a fool by his own.

Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength...

Sunday Morning

Cristian yawned deeply and stretched. Opening his eyes, he looked up at the ceiling before sitting up and looking out the window. He could see a light mist hanging amongst the distant trees. He pulled on a fresh T-shirt, his jeans boots and haversack, and stepped out into the hallway, the book he had been reading the night before in hand. It was a nice walk down to the forum, and he quickly found a nice tree to settle under comfortably. He pulled an apple from his bag and took a bite before opening his book "On the origin of Species". It was quite an interesting book, but Cristian was digging though it looking for any info on Lycans. He found obscure references here and there, but It seemed that Darwin either hadn't known about Lycans at the time, or didn't wish to mention them. Cristian continued to read however, liking the theories. He did decide, however, that in a little while he would stop by the library and start reading up on a history he hadn't even known existed.

... while loving someone deeply gives you courage.

Kata's eyes flickered open to see her new living mate, Loki, next to her sitting on the windowsill. The girl was in a silent repose, gazing out the window. The new rays of sunshine were shining through the glass, creating a golden halo around Loki's face and highlighting the stray strands of hair with a bright glow. It was quite a vision to behold, especially through sleep-heavy eyelids. Kata laid quietly in bed, gazing up at her roommate, Loki. She did not think of anything; she merely looked. Examined how beautiful she looked. Loki... She probably had boys crawling on hands and knees to get her attention back at her home, wherever that is.

Kata began to ponder where Loki was from. She had been judging where all the people she had met were from by just their accents. But, she couldn't place Loki's. It was so strange to her. English came easily to Loki, so she must be from an English-speaking country. Kata listed off several of those in her head: England, Scotland, Ireland, the United States, Canada... Sweden. Sweden wasn't by any means an English-speaking country. But it came into her head. She felt the side of her right hand, under the joint of her pinky finger, where a blister was forming from all the letters she had attempted to write last night. The movement made a noise, breaking Loki from her spell. "Good morning," Kata smiled.

What's my problem...

Loki was brought out of her daze when she noticed her roommate had woken up. She had been daydreaming, first about her dream, then about the events that lead to her being at this strange school and then finally, and mostly, about Kent. She'd never seen anyone like him before. She returned her roommates greeting with a "Hey". Kata's eyes, though groggy, were bright and sparkly. Loki always envied other people's eyes. Eyes that didn't give away emotions. Besides changing from green to brown, depending on the lighting. Her eyes seemed to darken when she was sad or unhappy, and brighten when she was excited or in a lighter mood. She stood and stretched out her back, she had been slouching for quite a while and asked "What're you up to today?" Loki's plan for the day were to find out what classes they would have, where they were, and if they could meet the professors. She'd wasted the whole day yesterday, so today was strictly business. She did hope, however, that she would meet Evelyn somewhere among the grounds, and of course the lovely Kent.

...Its a long story.

They saw me as a monster...

Munich-Germany

The sun was beginning to drift towards the horizon, and Gustav crouched in front of a man they had captured a few weeks before. "You know vat" he said "I like you. I've seen many men give in much much sooner." The man was sitting in a chair, held down with belts keeping his feet and arms pinned. A drop of blood dripped from the corner of his mouth. He simply glared at Gustav. The man was a skinny German. Blond hair, green eyes and wore the garb of a simple worker. But Gustav knew what this man was. This man was not unlike himself. A Lycan...A monster. Gustav stood up and began pacing around the man. They were in a small room, armed guards at each corner. "It is useless, however" Gustav finally said after a moment. "You vill break...zey alvays do." Gustav was about to nod to a guard to continue to..."extract" information, when a messenger stepped into the room, envelope in hand. "Commandant" he said saluting, "The boy arrived at the camp, but when we were going through his bags we found this. We think you would find it...interesting." He handed Gustav the envelope. He read though it quickly, with growing interest. When he was done he looked up grinning maliciously. The captured man had a look of horror upon his face, knowing that document, having seen a Russian friend of his with one of the same nature. Gustave read through it again. "Zis is interesting...Very Interesting." His grin widened as he pocketed the paper and stepped out of the room. He made a quick hand gesture, and the guards stepped forward to the prisoner. His screams followed Gustav down the hall before silencing abruptly.

...now I am one.

A wise man learns by the mistakes of others...

Rosto finished his prayers and sat back on the pew. He decided to go and check the post, even though it was Sunday. He always waited to check his slot for Sundays. It gave him something to do. He made his way out of the cathedral, the sun warming his freckled face. He hoped his little sister had sent some more of his mother’s cookies. Those were his favorites.

He unlocked his mail box and was happy to see a wrapped package tied with twine with a letter attached. He allowed himself a small exclamation of joy before emptying his box and locking it back up. He made his way to the dining hall for breakfast, intending to read his letter while he ate, and find out what his sister had sent him.

His joy was short lived when he spotted a group of students he knew very well. They saw him and he saw the oh to familiar devilish grin spread on their faces as they approached him. “Well, well, if it isn’t our little runner.” The obvious leader of the click chimed. Rosto clutched his belongings close to his chest, avoiding eye contact. “Whacha got there huh?” the student continued, his lackeys chuckling behind him.

“N-nothing”
Rosto hoped it would disinterest them, but knew it was unlikely. As such, one of the students snatched it out of his arms and tossed it around the group, playing keep away. Rosto’s day was not going as well as it started.

...A fool by his own.

Nukpana "Lynette'' Onatah

A wise man once told me, 'A wolf's eyes are mirrors to one's soul.'
_______________________________________________________________________________

A few rays of sun shone through a couple cracks in the curtains that covered the window right next to Nukpana's bed, the sun danced across air particles making them glitter against whatever laid behind them. And in an instant they were gone due to the rustling movement that happened beneath the blankets causing the particles to disperse across the room blending in with the darkness. Nukpana's eyes snapped open and looked around cautiously, almost as if some evil force would grab her from her bed and steal her away from her new home. She wiped her brow free of the tiny sweat beads trying to clear her head from the nightmare she just recieved, she pulled the covers off with a shaking hand and got out of bed. She walked to the bathroom and washed herself up, she slipped on an nice white blouse with a dark crimson skirt and a pair of flat shoes. Nukpana took a look at herself in the mirror for a long while, examining every little detail about it, she couldn't find anything so great about it and why he thought it was worth killing for.

Nukpana went around her room lighting incense sticks that were set up along the walls of it. She opened the door just a crack along with the window so she could get fresh air along with the smell, and withdrew a set of panpipes she started to play a tune that she first learned how to play. This was going to be the only song she played before she went out to get something to eat and some fresh air to try to remember the nightmare.Nukpana's thigh twitched quickly making her miss a note causing a somewhat eerie note to stream from the pipe, she concluded the song and placed the pipe back in its holster and into her fox purse.

A flash of last night entered her mind as she tried to remember it, the flash helped her in remembering but not what she needed to know. Last night seemed to be a blur mostly, she remember that after she got something to eat she immediately went to bed after staring outside for a few minutes. She thought she would have went out but something told her to remain where she laid, and then she blacked out. The only other thing she remember was being awakened by her own screaming which only stopped just then when she had awaken. Nukpana shook last night from her head figuratively, and went out of her room locking it again, leaving the window open the the scents to be aired out of her room. Something she did twice a day everyday, no matter what, she believe if she kept the demon entertained she wouldn't want to come out as much and so far it had proven right.

You ask me why I'm reckless....

Asp tried desperately to keep her heart from racing. The man's voice was liquid and seemed to trickle into her ear. While her first reaction was to use her wit to get away, her adventurous side was intrigued by the man's aggressive advances. She lifted her head, meeting his gaze. "Maybe" she said, not letting her quick breathing give her away. "You know anything about what's outside the gates?" she asked.

She glanced past him quickly, seeing how dark it had become. "I know the area around here quite well, would you like to take a look around?" he asked, lifting her hand to kiss it. Asp quailed. This guy was ridiculous. "Perhaps tomorrow night". The man's face fell barely perceptively, but was replaced by a smile. "I guess I'll see you tomorrow then". He turned and disappeared into the building.

Asp waited for her heart to stop beating so fast before walking around the building and entering her room. It was dark, and she was unsure of whether her roommate was there, but she climbed into bed and fell asleep almost instantly, tired out from the day.

.....And I'll respond with, "Why aren't you?"

A wise man learns from the mistakes of others...

Rosto’s tormentors seemed to be having the time of their life, tossing his package in the air and at one another. He knew fully well that if he reacted by trying to get his item back, the game would go on endlessly. Instead, he stood and waited for the group to become bored with his lack of response and give up. However, they grew annoyed and instead of leaving him alone, they turned on him. “What’s the matter? Too good to play wimpy in the middle with us? Think you’re better than us?”

“No. I just want my stuff back.” Rosto replied quietly. The leader tossed the package to one of his followers and advanced on Rosto, “Let’s play another game.” He said grinning. He took Rosto by the elbow and pulled him into the group as they made a circle around him. Rosto did not fight back. He let his personal demons push him around until he found an opening. There was a gap between two of the students, and Rosto made a break for it. He ducked under the grabbing arms and sprinted as fast as he could across the grass toward the kitchens. They still had his package, but he was not about to turn around and go back for it. He would either find it abandoned somewhere, torn apart, or write to his sister apologizing about losing it. At any rate, it was not worth facing those boys again.

When he was satisfied that his tormentors were not following him, Rosto slowed to a walk. He had thought the day would be a good one, but now he was sure it was going to be another long day of self pity. He had been here long enough to have a routine and be comfortable with his knowledge about the place, yet his lack of confrontational skills meant he had not made many friends. Sure he knew people that were nice to him, but he could hardly say they were close.

Convinced today would not get much better, he slumped his way to the dining hall for a gloomy breakfast pondering what was in the package he would probably never open. “I hope there were none of Mother’s cookies in it.”

...a fool by his own.
