Had it not been for her flowers, Cherry would have been cheerfully cooing about Mimi and Hakan's 'cuteness.' Such was not the case, for currently, the new floral arrangements were already near ruined.

"My flowers!" Cherry shrieked. Never mind the fact that it was approximately zero degrees Fahrenheit, and she was wearing a sleeveless mini-dress... Her flowers were in danger!

She threw Waffles atop the front desk and went running about the lobby. Her mental powers were strong, but breaking solid ice proved to be an endlessly tiring task. Thus, the girl instead ran into the kitchen and returned several minutes later with several steaming towels in tow.

"Melt, melt! Please melt!" she chirped, whining to the flowers.

In fact, her efforts were paying off...if slowly. The ice was gradually melting, although it almost seemed to result from Cherry's increased energy...

((This post is a reply to zandar's wich is about three pages before :U))

The merchant kept his creepy smile as he unloaded the large viles and gave them to the warrior before him. Baza always loved making deals, especially when he could make a whole barrel in just a week, with little supplies.

The tip of going away was obvious, and Baza would repay him by not asking him to buy something. Though, the fox merchant still did not have someone to ask, so once he turned around a few times, he looked at Zandar.

The worst part was that he was not smiling, just staring blankly at the man. Baza did not know what to do, so he just waited for Zandar to move so he could follow him, I mean, he had to be going somewhere where there were people, right?

((Yarr, sorry for the crappy post x.x; ))

Zandar took the vials and smiled as he slowly took each vial and carefully placed them into the leather pouches he had just recently attached to his belt. They seemed to fit perfectly. It appeared to Zandar that he had gotten the idea, so as he turned he said two simple words: "thank you." He began walking towards the building he had practically ran into earlier. "As long as he doesn't ask me to buy anything... I don't care where he goes..." he mouthed those words just in case the merchant had excellent hearing.

As Zandar stepped inside he nearly walked right back out. The decor nearly made him vomit, and for good reason. Such things Zandar could only handle in small amounts; too many flowers or such things were an unusual sight for him since he rarely wandered where flowers could spread their seeds in large amounts. The prosepect of civilization made zandar slightly giddy, so he walked through the "beautiful" arrangement and looked around.

As he walked farther in, he realized it may seem rude to others that he left his hat on, and after much internal conflict he decided to remove it. His red eyes were visible enough before, but his black hair fell down as he removed his hat. His hair was pretty long, in the back it came down to his neck, and in the front bordered his eyes. At the sides he had it tucked behind his ears, so it was hard to tell how long it was. He rarely did this, and anyone who had known him for a few months would be surprised that he took it off.

Well, that was yet another crisis averted. Cherry was doubled over, hands resting on her thighs as she panted in exhaustion. She looked rather frazzled, but that was understandable considering the fact that the girl had just circled the entire lobby three times over. The flowers were alright, at least.

Cherry surveyed the room, smiling at her handiwork. Various multi-colored vases stocked high with colorful floral arrangements now littered the room. The ever vigilant Waffles sat atop the front desk. Whether one liked the decor or not was a subject of taste; Cherry certainly did! But one thing was sure: it was definitely brighter!

She let out a deep sigh of relief. Her tired arms were lifted above her head, and she stretched her whole body. Who knew decorating could be so exhausting?!

It was then that she noticed the new arrivals into the lobby. Her bright eyes narrowed in suspicion, but when the first man made no move to destroy her hard work, she brightened once more. Good, perhaps the perky girl would have someone to talk to, after all!

...But just in case... "Don't touch anything! Don't touch, don't touch, don't touch! Oh, please don't!" She sprinted over to the two men, eyes alight almost with terror. Just what she needed: more running. "You...have..." she gasped out, "no idea how hard I've been working..."

The ghost glared at her

"My dear Eliza, if marrige was of love then I would of married millions of women that were not her. I married purely out of greed you silly little girl, well your not that little now are you my darling?" He grind at her lustfuly sliding a hand across her upper thigh before he dissappeared into the darkness

A young man around the age of 21 walked up to the front gates of Jekyl de Hyde, his parents had met here years ago, he decided to return and maybe find his one love meant to be. he was around five feet tall his clothes were fitted perfectly to his body his lupine (wolf) tail carefully hidden under his large trench coat he pushed the doors to the hotel open and stood in the lobby and fiddled with the tooth pick that was between his lips and walked up to the front desk and rang the bell twice giving the teddy bear an odd look

Eliza cringed, her pretty face twisted in pure disgust. Still, she managed to keep her cool, as she shook her head. "As much as I love men, I much rather be with a woman if it means being stuck with the likes of you." Then again, it wasn't a lie. Eliza Sommers took love in whatever shape it came -- men, women, half-human creature, the witch took it in stride. "And with a pulse."

The purple and black-haired girl took a deep breath and straightened herself out, her fingertips idly pulling at the fishnet shirt as to readjust it. Her eyes shifted toward the broken doors, her eyes now taking in the three newest guests. A fox-man, another human (or so it seemed) and a werewolf. Eliza smiled a bit then and strolled over to stand behind Cherry and proceeded to extend a gloved hand. "Eliza Sommers-- call me what you wish but Lizzie."

Yes, it seemed that Baza hit the jackpot. While following the warrior, he ended up in the hotel, wich had three new customers. The first he saw looked rather tired and pink, the next was a man that seemed quite the lycanthrope, and the last appearance was a witch extending her hand out.

The fox merchant had to think fast, wich he did, his first 'customer' would be the pink girl, she seemed to like decorating, and was tired, perfecttarget for a sale. He hopped right infront of her, not damaging a single flower. A mad customer was a bad customer, if he wasen't mad at baza being annoying, that was a good thing.

"Hello m'am!" He said, grinning at Cherry. "How would you like to buy some fatigue potions? It'll stop you from feeling tired, and give you an energy boost. Not too mention I have various pink clothing and decorations I bet you would love! Are you interested m'am?" The fox merchant offered, his creepy grin never leaving his face.

Zandar was quite vexed as to what the exhausted pink thing was trying to say, so he improvised. "I mean you, nor these flowers, no harm." He hoped he had said the right thing, not wanting to offend as soon as he met someone. He mentally noted that the merchant had found someone else to annoy. For this he was glad for himself, but he pitied the merchant's next target. "may God have mercy on their souls." he whispered.

Although it took a while, Zandar started getting used to the flowers, although he still fought an urge to destroy every single flower. It was like a classic internal dispute, the little angel on one shoulder telling you not to, and the demon on the other telling you to go ahead. He shook his head and drove all thoughts about the flowers from his head. All he wanted to do was talk to someone who was friendly, but not TOO friendly.

He watched the merchant walk up to the pink thing with some amusement. "I wonder how she'll handle an encounter with the vile merchant. He noted that the merchant may attempt to sell him something again, so he stayed quiet.

Now she felt guilty for she could feel the emotions he went through just by the changes in his gesture. Something had definately changed, and she knew it-- he wasn't his whole self right now. Mimi couldn't blame him for the insecurities. Hell, she'd felt like that once too.

Mimi smiled and fought back a shiver by nuzzling up against him as to get a little warmer. Come now, he wasn't *a toy*... he'd become her everything over the past year. Her constant ray of hope, her love, her laughter.. that part she needed to essentially survive. "No, not just a toy... but if you feel like being just a toy, fine. I don't want to lose you."

It was a good thing too that the girl was used to the cold, but in her humanesque form it was so much easier to fall subject to its pains. Mimi blinked a bit, suddenly aware of the low temperature and the heated voices. In Hakan's presence, it was so easy to forget about the rest of the world.

Just when he was about to face the world, too! Suddenly, the whole room filled up. He.. Sort of knew Cherry, and of course Eliza. However.. Spirits were appearing, vanishing. Werewolves, fox merchants on crack, and other things! People he didn't know!

He looked about slowly, although keeping his head hung. He had to be careful.. Showing the enemy a weakness was bad! But, that wasn't what he was worried about. It was just embarrasing. I mean, it's not every day that a man just suddenly, practicly collapses into a woman, sniffling no less!

Hakan had to protect his pride! And there for, he would prod Mimi, and although gently in his mind.. Sometimes, Hakan forgets his strengths! Thus, the poke in the side would more than likely result in Mimi jumping a little bit. It was like being flicked in the ear! Just, annoying. A dirty trick developed by the devil!

"I'm.. Going to go put some clothes on now." He would mumble. And from that point, he was off! Quickly whirling around, and darting up the stairs. It was.. Kind of adorable, in a strange sense.

][e.e; I'm so out of it today.][

Tapping his boot the young man growled in impatience and slammed his fist down on the bell, unfortunatly for the bell it wasnt strong enough to withstand the strength of a werewolf, even if he was in his human/antrhowolf form and the poor bell became smashed.

"Were's the service? I want to book a damn room, you, fox man, are you the recepcionist? What about you ladies, this your job? If someone is slacking off You can bet your manager will hear about it" His eyes glared at everyone in the vicenity as he lowered his shades enough to scan everyone in theroom, hmm... is she...yes, his keen sense of smell confirmed his suspicions, one of the three females was a feline, it wasn't the pink girl... she was more gerbil like, the one with the purple in her hair wasn't that left the domimatrix woman, sure enough the feline scent came from her issueing a growl to develop deep in the young man's throat

-Mimi winced and jumped back a bit, grabbing onto her side.- That was uncalled for! -She mumbled, half laughing as Hakan went off on his merry way to put on some clothes. But really.. did the boy forget his pants were dow in the lobby with her?

The girl fought back a shiver and turned around, a brow arched in question. Wow.. lots of people, now what? As Cherry whined about her flowers and a customer rang the bell, the feline lycanthrope quickly made a decision. During Midori's last vacation, she'd been in charge. Out of the people present, Mimi was the only one who knew, somewhat, how the ropes worked aorund the Hyde. Granted, there was more she needed to learn and the last time she had a vampire at her side for help but it was all good. She was older now and had a more cunning mind than before.

With confident strides, the girl made her way over to the counter, only to pause and give that giant teddy bear an odd look. It was then when she looked up and saw the insane amount of folliage the lobby had been subjected to. As much as she loved flowers, Mimi felt like gagging herself.- Cherry dear... don't you think this is a tad too much?

- Well, it did look about a thousand times brighter, that was for sure. There were enough flowers to-- Mimi paused, grinning.- Complimentary flower arrangements per new guest, what a grand idea. Thank you Cherry.

-Her gaze then fell on the teddy bear and promptly petted it on the head.- Well, I suppose you can stay here. Keep me company when its too slow.. -Slowly those amethysts shifted over to the boy infront of her. Inwardly, she cringed as her nose was promptly invaded by a strong scent of canine. A vague, familiar canine scent. A werewolf no less-- she could only hope he wasn't related to the one from the year before, nor the two that got themselves killed a few days earlier.- May I help you?

Eliza, on the other hand, grumbled and allowed her hand to drop at her side. "Don't all speak at once..." She mumbled, shoving her hand into her right pocket. Seriously, you try to be nice to people and they just ignore you. Bah. Idiots!

The witch turned to Mimi, waved and promptly grabbed the nearest vase."I agree... but if you don't mind, I have a better idea as to where this might go." Of course, she felt like she was talking to no one since Mimi was already busy attending another guest and everybody else was off in their own world.

The smile that had caressed her face vanished as she cradled the vase in her hands, her body headed to the bar room. "Why, thank you Eliza. So nice of you to help, Eliza. Oh, I owe you my life, Eliza, and Hakan's too... Cherry's as well.. woo... " The girl mouthed, as she pushed open the double doors of the bar with her bum.

"Bah. Allow me to get sloshed."

the fellow gave her a quick once over

"I'm assuming this is a new detail, my father made no mention of.... such attire from when he came here at my age. My name is Mi'Kail Talom; A room, with a good veiw of the moonrise, no questions, it's none of your concern." he said with a slight twinge in his voice, was this the one his aunt and uncle warned him about? she didn't seem so tough. He broke the silence again by slamming a creditcard onto the counter and a Photo ID for verification.

-Mimi paused and fought back the urge to retort to the man in a saucy remark due to his rudeness. Hell, a part of her had been modified to hand out physical forms of punishment at the blink of an eye, especially to men-- such was the twisted matriarchy of her pride.

Instead, she merely nodded and forced a smile on her lips as she went about typing the data up on the hotel's system before swiping the card. She waited then until the reciept was printed and it was then when she bothered to snatch up a pen and acknowledge him once more.- Please sign here, and here. -The second form? Oh, just an emergency waiver. Such things were necessary in such a hotel.

As he signed away she snatched a pair of keys from where they hung on pegs along the wall behind her. The keys she gave him where emblazoned with the number 452, a room that would be found on the east wing of the hotel, pretty much alianted from the current guests. A nice room, huge window.- Fourth floor to your right. And if you wish you can take a flower arrangement with you to brighten up the place.
PostPosted: Mon Feb 21, 2005 7:36 pm

After he signed the contracts he took the keys and pockted his card and id,

"Flowers? fah, I'd rather watch television than have those disgusting things anywhere near me" He then went on his way up the stairs, for those that knew him well, they knew he hated television, which is why he always chose a secluded hotel, or a secluded village or something, as he reached the fourth floor he winced in slight pain, he was beginning to transform, the blasted feline didn't mention there would be windows at the end of the halls, sprinting down the halls he read the numbers quickly until he reached room 452 and flung the door open and tossed his bag on the bed and hurridly began to take off his shirt and jacket only after he had peeled off his fingerless gloves did he kick his door closed before rushing over to the window and pretty much tearing the large drapes away from the window the moon's beams hit him directly. his hands began to change furst, his face enlongating, until ultimately the young man was nowhere to be seen..... and in his place stood a were wolf in the tattered black pants that the male before him had been wearing (( said were wolf User Image )) with a loud snarl he leaned his head back opening his canine muzzle wide to release a blood chilling howl, and how pray tell did this werewolf return to human/anthro form? why that was entirely up to him, he had the ability to return to normal at his will, just not able to control the switch to werewolf form

Eliza, on the other hand, had made herself at home in the bar room. For an abandoned hotel, the alcoholic selection was well stocked, and it didn't take long for Eliza to find a high-rated whiskey bottle to down her sorrows with. She'd been in searc of coffee, and had just found a single-serving bag when the blood-curdling howl echoed down the hallways of the hotel. It was then when she chose the whiskey.

"Just my freakin' luck." Mumbled Eliza, fingertips twisting the cap off with ease. "Bah." For some reason that howl reminded her of Jarred. Of all people, why that twerp? And so she downed a good sized gulp of liquor as she contemplated on what to do next. As fun as it would be to get drunk, alone, in dusty old bar room, she'd much rather do something else.

Then again, when she got tipsy, Eliza's judgement was clouded. She'd always been the adventurous type but with liquor in her system, she was just downright reckless. "Why the hell not?" She mumbled, taking yet another swig of alcohol before twisting the cap back on the large bottle. The purple and black haired girl made her way across the lobby and entered elevetaor where she proceeded to push away random numbers. "WOO!!!"
