I would like to honor (in white): Lee Jordan, for Potterwatch, Regulus Black, for attempting to destroy a Horcrux, and Kreacher, for helping out the Trio. Also, Luna Lovegood deserves props as well as Ginny. Don't know if they were on the list or not.

I would just like to apologize for years of hating Snape... even when he did good things, I still despised him for being the way he was towards Harry and the others... but he turned out to be a good guy after all...

I know all the good nominations have been taken. So...
We need more In Memoriums. Think of them as eulogies that you would say at that persons funeral. We've got 2 so far, mine and fourtysecondscarf's. They're both spoilers, so they're in white at the bottom of the first one. So feel free to write some, they can be as short as you want.

Well...what about all the muggles who lost their lives during the war, they weren't even part of the whole mess, but voldemort and his deatheaters brought them into to it. Also for Narcissa and Lucius Malfoy....for well only thinking of their son and special props for narcissa for not turning Harry in at the end!
Here's to you! cheese_whine

Well, I believe, as it's nearly October, we can drop the white....although it's very fitting for Asian memorials, as white is the absence of all color it is what is worn at funerals. I came across one, then another beautiful you tube memorials for the Fallen of Deathly Hallows. Impossible to view and not weep: The Fallen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-JUjowg3rAgFields of Gold: A Deathly Hallows Tribute (the song always make me cry anyway)! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEg0_xmy9i4

In Memorium:
Allow me to propose a toast to Severus Snape, one of the bravest men throughout the entire series. He died for what he believed in, despite the hate everyone held for him. He's had such a tragic life, may he find peace in Death.
To Fred Weasley, he lived with a smile, and he died with a smile.
To Nymphadora Tonks, one of the greatest (but clumsy) witch in the books.
To Remus Lupin, a strong man till the end. He lived with a curse, he lived through the first war, but never got to see the peace after the second.
To Albus Dumbledore, the wisest man we know. He lived through two wars, but he never got to see Voldemort's ultimate defeat.
To Sirius Black, he lived for 12 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit, and the last few years on the run. He did not live to see his name cleared. He did not live to become a free man once more.
To Lily Potter, a pure hearted woman. She died a selfless death. Sacrificing her life to save her son's, even though she knew it might be futile.
To James Potter, a brave man till the end. His life ended while he tried to protect his family from the Dark Lord.
And last, but not least, I want to honor the first victim of the second war with Voldemort. Cedric Diggory. His death was not planned, but he was the first sacrifice of the cruel war.
~~May They Rest In Peace~~

Firstly, I want to recommend the video's posted by LadyHealingHands - they are a real tearjerker..
Secondly, I want to post my tribute to the fallen.
To Charity Burbage - an unfortunate victim of Voldemort who is usually passed over. You were never mentioned much in the books, but you dedicated your life to educating wizards on the life of us muggles.
To Alastar Moody - to me, you exemplified the definition of perseveration and I always wondered about the brain damage you might have incurred fighting Death Eaters for so long. Regardless, you dedicated your life to protecting those who couldn't and died saving Harry's life.
To Hedwig - you were Harry's first and truest friend. There are no words to describe the sadness that was felt at your anticlimactic death.
To Dobby - the saddest death in the entire book in my opinion. He was a dedicated friend and loved Harry with all of his being.
To Fred - never again will I be able to use Gred and Forge without feeling a twinge of sadness. You were always a sense of laughter and fun in the books and we will all miss you.
To Remus and Tonks - your deaths are a tragedy, one that will forever taint my opinion of JK. You would have been fantastic parents to Teddy and you will always hold a special place in our hearts.
