In Memorium: Remembering the Lives of All Those Who Died Helping Harry On His Quest to Kill Lord Voldemort.

Yes Yes it would have to happen...this is quite simple. Below is a list of all those who have lost their lives defending Harry. I will be putting all Book 7 spoilers in White, and I would suggest that you would too. The death sequence will be in chronological order. I will also feature a list honoring those who have assisted Harry along the way, including all those involve in the Battle of Hogwarts. I would strongly suggest that unless you have finished Book 7, DO NOT HIGHLIGHT ANY PART OF THIS PAGE, THERE ARE SPOILERS EVERYWHERE!

James Potter: Pre Book

Lily Potter: Pre Book

Cedric Diggory: The Goblet of Fire

Sirius Black: The Order of the Pheonix

Emmeline Vance: The Half-Blood Prince

Amelia Bones: The Half-Blood Prince

Albus Dumbledore: The Half-Blood Prince

Hedwig: The Deathly Hallows

Mad-Eye Moody: The Deathly Hallows

Rufus Scrimejour (even if he is a git): The Deathly Hallows

Bathilda Bagshot: The Deathly Hallows

Ted Tonks: The Deathly Hallows

Grindelwald (he only counts because he lied to protect Dumbledores grave): The Deathly Hallows.

Peter Pettigrew (he showed mercy and as a consequence died): The Deathly Hallows

Dobbie (*sob*): The Deathly Hallows.

Crabbe (I know he's evil, but it was his Faeriefyre that destroyed one of the Horcruxes): The Deathly Hallows

Fred: The Deathly Hallows

Colin Creevy: The Deathly Hallows

Severus Snape: The Deathly Hallows

Remus Lupin: The Deathly Hallows

Nymphadora Tonks: The Deathly Hallows

Sorry if I missed someone, please notify me if I did. The point of this thread, is to say something nice about one of the people that died (Something you liked about them, something good they did to help Harry). Enjoy!

There I've started it off..now I'll start off by posting about someone I have always loved. This is the format for the post, you may do someone that someone else has already done, I don't care. The text below is a spoiler so if you haven't read the book yet don't highlight.

In Memorium: Dobbie

Dobbie; In the first few chapters of Chamber of Secrets, Dobbie introduced himself to do that and began his lifelong passion of helping Harry Potter. Throughout the book Dobbie saved Harry many times and was a loyal companion on top of that. In Book 2, Dobbie tryed to save his life by trying to keep him away of Hogwarts, in one of the less appreciated things that Dobbie did. In Book 4, Dobbie gave Harry Gillyweed, which helped him complete the second task of the Triwizard Tournament. In Book 5, Dobbie informed Harry of the Room of Requirement, one of the best things he'd ever do, and he saved most of Harry's friends from expulsion in Book 5 by warning them that Dolores Umbridge was approaching. In Book 6 he tailed Draco Malfoy at the bidding of Harry. And in Book 7, Dobbie saved the lives of Harry and many of his friends, before being cruely murdered by Bellatrix Lestrange. This last act of Dobbies was an act of ultimate self saccrifice, and of loyalty to the end. In Memorium, I honor Dobbie.

In Memorium: Severus Snape

Prof. Severus Snape is one of the most tragic hero's of the book. He was estranged from his fellow teachers and hated by his students. He grew up in a dysfunctional family with an abusive father, who argued with his mother constantly. He had no friends as a child, until he met Lily Evans. He fell in love with lily, but, to no avail. She never loved him back. In fact She married his school rival, James Potter. He fell in with the death eater crowd, and after serving Voldemort, began to work for Dumbledore as an inside man. Many thought him to be evil, when truely, he was one of the bravest men, and most powerful wizards, of all time.

Here's to you Snape.

The next one isn't exactly perfect form but it was so sweet...

Well...what about all the muggles who lost their lives during the war, they weren't even part of the whole mess, but voldemort and his deatheaters brought them into to it. Also for Narcissa and Lucius Malfoy....for well only thinking of their son and special props for narcissa for not turning Harry in at the end!

Are we honoring the dead as well? I guess we are since Dobby is up there. In that case I nominate Remus Lupin, Nymphadora "Tonks" Lupin, Alastor "Mad-eye" Moody, and Fred Weasley.

They're already up there. (I'm really glad Mrs. Weasley killed Bellatrix Lestrange, it was one of the best parts.)

This is for the Wall of Honored? I guess we can add Crabbe... He did unknowingly destroy a Horcrux after all. The others I'll add as well.
