I was able to convince LabTech101 to do my Acceptance Forms, and so I was able to spend the entire afternoon focused on the important things here at G Corp - research. Although, I was so involved in my studies of diometric analytical psirolaisis during instable periods of quantum fluctuation, I never heard management come in and take my cot. I mean, my cot isn't here anymore, and the only way it would move would be if someone moved it. Management must have had a reason though. Maybe Mr. Gambino thought I would take a nap! Clearly Mr. Gambino is BRILLIANT! I can't nap, it will only interfere with the research!
Though I still wonder where my cot went. I'll have to fill out a FRIREQR - 80 and an IREQR in order to ask management where it went, and that takes time. Maybe LabTech101 can do those for me too while I spend the evening studying dipolar cellular distortions when applied to oryctolagus cuniculus.

6:37 PM heart heart Gosh, my work area just keeps getting prettier and prettier! I found this super cute cot a few minutes ago and brought it over to my desk. I'm using it as my new footrest. My feet feel great now as I'm typing up research data. whee Just now, lab tech 101 showed me his green rabbit and said everyone got a memo about them. Apparently we're all getting pet rabbits? How come I didn't get that memo?? crying

Phew! Finally finished those filling out those forms for LabTech247... These forms took me roughly 8 hours to fill out. No wonder 247 told me the whole facility depended on it! xd On my way to dropping off the forms at reception, I heard strange noises coming from LabTech126's office. Lots of thrashing and bumps against the wall type noises. Totally freaked me out. eek I knocked on the door to see if everything was ok. I was sooooo relieved when 126 opened the door! sweatdrop His clothes were all wrinkled as if he had been wrestling something. I saw LabTech912 behind him lifting the desk back up. Apparently, it had been knocked over. 126 explained to me that one of the 12 foot long purple boa constrictors had escaped its cage and that 912 had to help him wrestle it back into the cage. He said towards the end, the boa spit venom at 912 and almost hit her in the eyes!! eek Man, I wish I was there to see that! eek My boss 247 tells me that those boas can "crush a human head like a peanut." 126 and 912 must be really strong, not to mention brave too! heart GOSH I LOVE WORKING IN A SECRET UNDERGROUND TEST FACILITY!!! domokun

It's a small flat, just big enough to fit a cot, but hey it's free courtesy of G Corp. Gosh, the only thing that I hate the most about every morning is that I have to climb 10 stories just to get to the lab floor. I wish I have a Level 5 clearance, the lab techs that have those are so lucky. They get to use the elevators. I'm stuck with Level 1 clearance even the janitors have a higher clearance then I do. crying At least today I got my coffee and ready to work on that PBT. What the heck?!?! For some reason I'm hearing monke...must be stress.

Journals of LabTech 247 Wednesday, October 20, 2004 @ 1:15 AMI'm burning the midnight oil tonight, and apparently my oryctolagus cuniculus. Well, okay, the "common rabbit" wasn't mine, it was actually LabTech101's, but I don't think he'll miss it. Maybe if he asks I'll tell him it ran away with my cot. Speaking of cots, mine is inexplicably gone still. I should ask 101 to look for it- it's not like he is ever doing science around here anyway.
The experiments are going well, though due to the previously mentioned mishap, I'm short one cute, fluffy, green bunny. The incinerator took care of it though. Like it says in the company manual I so painstakingly memorized, "If at first you don't succeed- Well, you better succeed the first time." Hah, they'll never know of my mistakes this way.
I got to talk to LabTech126 today; that's a gentleman with his company priorities straight. He wanted to take my whipped cream from the company fridge. When I asked him why, he said it would make him more productive. "Well," I say to him, thankful someone is trying to accomplish their own goals around here, "go ahead and take it. If it's sugar you need, take the ice cream and syrup too!" He told me he'd put them to good use, so I can only imagine the asset he currently is to G Corp! What a team player!
I've wasted enough time on today's journaling, I need to get back to my G Corp work! I can't let the company down!

There was some kind of fire drill and everyone had to leave the lab rooms while a crew of people in white containment suits rushed in. Luckly my lab area was ok. I do notice that there's a freshly brewed coffee on my desk for no apparent reason, someone in the office must know that I like coffee. The day is getting better biggrin Gotta go find who gave me the coffee and thank em.

Now we can surf the internet as a group! Doesn't that sound cool? Haha what other friends do you have that you could do that with? Journals of LabTech 957 *Post 3*Well I invited everyone to my party. I hope everyone can make it. I didn't invite 138 because I saw my red coffee mug on her desk. I'm not going to say anything to her and if she asks I'll tell her I didn't invite her because I didn't have enough chairs or something. Also she seems kind of slutty. And I don't trust 247. Its bad enough that G CORP is breathing down my neck I don't need this brown noser coming to my house. He would probably come only so he could scope out my house and report back to upper management. I KNOW what goes on at G CORP I'm not dumb! One of these days I'm going to blow the whole thing wide open. I really hope 137 can make it, he's really cool. I bet he's good at the Internet, too. He's all like tough and stuff.

Another fun and exciting morning here in the SECRET UNDERGROUND TEST FACILITY!! LabTech722 showed me his pet that the G CORP people gave him. It was a really cute monkey!! GOSH, G CORP is SOOO NICE TO US!! heart Though, I think all the excitement got me all light-headed cause at some points I could've sworn I was seeing double of that monkey. eek The new guy 722 is really nice and smart. He told me about how he was an investor and that he had this big deal going down later tonite and if I wanted in, now was the time. He told me that the minimum investment was 50,000 g and that the return would be double after only 10 years!!! AWESOME!! So, anyways, I pulled out my life savings and gave it to him. I can't wait! 3nodding

Then I caught a string of nasty boats like you wouldn't believe. The clincher came at 2 AM last night on a monster hand. I held a back-door straight in the early position (the big blind was up to 5000 g), but then got caught drawing dead against a Fish who kept coming over the top at me. The river dried up so my connectors didn't help me. But I didn't want to pass up all that dead money so I went all in. There was no way that rookie knew I was trying to buy the pot. He didn't have a clue but stayed in even though he was clearly outmatched. I mean, a seasoned player would have folded on Fourth Street. I lost my entire bankroll in one hand to a joke of a hand: Ace High. Come on! Give me a break! That hasn't happened to me in weeks. I was on such a roll. It was just a bad beat, I guess. Not my fault. What can you do? Now I'm trying to put together some scratch for the next big game. Maybe LabTech 247 can stake me. He works all the time, and never seems to go anywhere to spend it. I hate to ask Mr. Gambino for a loan. He already gave me an advance on my paycheck. But the payoff will be sweet if I can get financed. Tonight's game should be huge. Ok. Back to work. Today I am giving injections to a two-headed monkey. Not sure what is in the serum, but I guess it must be some kind of hormone or something. OOPS. Was that information classified? I didn't realize .... ok. Just kidding. G Corp doesn't have a two-headed monkey. I made that up.

12:16 PMEarlier this morning, I went to check the G CORP department forum as part of my daily internet routine, and I saw that LabTech957 got a Home Internet Theatre System and is having an internet party. It looks like everyone is invited...everyone except me, that is! scream He is some kind of jerk! I think he thinks he's good at the internet! But he isn't! He only wishes he was as good at the internet as LabTech137 because everyone knows that LabTech137 is good at the internet. (But then again he's good at everything. sweatdrop ) Luckily, things got better a little while later. While I was compiling yesterday's data into a folder to take to LabTech247, I found cute two playing cards; they're both diamonds, but one is a queen and the other is a jack. I'm using them as bookmarks in my Chicken Soup for the LabTech Soul book. Gosh this book is great! crying

Not like a few months back when I took out a loan (I think he was a bookie working for Mr. Gambino) and the juice was running at 20% compounded daily ... Hope that guy doesn't track me down to my new job ... hahaha. Now if I can only get another 50,000 gold I can run the table tonight at the casino. I can already see my chips stacked up in front of me like towers, like the skyline of the Vegas strip, baby. I will need a live-feed to the surveillance cams just to see the other mopes at the table my stacks will be so high. Work today is kinda monotonous. I counted about 20 huge fork-lifts go by on our level carrying palettes marked 'TOP SECRET - G Corp Authorized personnel to open only!' I asked LabTech247 if he knew what was in them and he said, 'Mind your own business if you know what's good for you'. I think he could be nicer to me. After all, I did offer him a 30-60 split of the winnings if he staked me for the next game.
