Another day, another dollar, another issue. Or so was the usual for the household. Keanu was off doing something god only knew about, that's how he was when it came to running off. The little ones were still asleep in the early morning. ...mostly. There was of course, a whining wind spirit who'd been fussy as of late. Something the man hadn't fully begun to understand, but he wasn't about to care.
Fingers drummed along the kitchen table as he eyed the ever vigilant, and helpful, Tai watching the brat as she roamed the room in search of trophies. Or whatever it was she wanted. He tossed his head back slightly allowing his bedhead to fall out of his face for a brief instant before returning when he leaned down to snatch up the cup. Fabulous early morning.
"I really hate getting up this early."
"You say that everyday."
Automated responses really as Raja managed another few gulps of coffee and started to shove himself out of his seat at the table to get dressed. He obviously wasn't going to work on pajamas. "Just gotta make sure you remember."
"Mmmne." Came the quiet reply as the pale man's attention was drawn away from the ever complaining parental figure to the child who'd discovered the TV remote. "Not happening, Missy. I use that far more." To which the infant offered a grumpy pout and drew the thing closer, obviously understanding what her body couldn't yet say. It was pretty obvious the blue skinned girl wasn't your normal baby. But that had been obvious from day one.
"I'll see ya later." He grumbled knowing he wouldn't get a reply as the leopard was off to struggle the object away from the girl. Meanwhile he slunk toward his room to find something clean to wear. And maybe brush his hair. That would be good too.
And then there was the one thing not normal for the morning, which cause a low grumble as he had just reached for the handle to open his bedroom door. "Who the hell is coming to visit at this hour." Which wasn't that unreasonable, it was seven in the morning afterall. Raja just was what he'd proclaimed. Not a morning person.
A bit more grumbling as he slunk to the door, which had already been answered by a bewildered Tai with Missy in his arms offered the sight of a rather familiar labcoat. "Oh not you guys. What does that psychotic jerk want THIS time? For me to throw him off a bridge since the last few attempts didn't kill him?" There was obvious annoyance in his voice as he seemed to fail to realize the spirit child WAS listening and looking a bit curious about the new people. Which looked less than amused with the man's open hostility about their boss and company, especially when it was rather obvious what they were there for with the small thing standing behind them.
"As expected." One muttered quietly to the other, obviously recalling the known opinion held of the company in the household. At least with the owner anyway. Which was quickly let drop as he regained his composure, the professional employee doing work. With a guy that thought he was scum and looked like he'd just rolled out of bed. Quite an interesting sight really. "It's been decided that you are being given the privledge of caring for a second child. As you're well aware I'm sure, this isn't an option so fighting it wouldn't be a prop-"
"Yea yea, can it." The man had cut off the tech as he rolled his eyes, shifting his attention to the small creature being dumped on him in a similar fashion to how Keanu had been over a year ago. "So what exactly do we have here then?" He really did feel that at least rescuing the kid from their clutches was worthwhile. Even if he was at the end of his wits.
"She's been dubbed Harle, based upon a specific coloration of rabbit known as a Harlequin." It was just a quick name dumped on her to easily refer to the little thing, not truly a name. It was a shortened version of her species afterall. Though it obviously rung a bell, as the previously quiet thing had suddenly perked up, ears twitching at the words as she seemed to lose the almost muted silence for a burst of energy. Whatever they'd set to keep the child calm obviously wore off with the name as she suddenly managed to push her way past the two to examine the new beings before her, quite different than the techs. A few seconds of that and she backed off at the man reaching out to try and take her's in a friendly gesture, hiding behind the safest thing nearby. The techs.
"Harle, huh?" He mumbled eyeing her as she darted away. "Skittish, probably the fact that..." He trailed off shrugging as he stood up again, musing slightly if this was worth missing work over. Nah, they'd have his head. A frown drew upon his face which he quickly let slide off. "Well, I guess that's that. I know the drill." He waved a hand at the techs, wanting nothing more than to be rid of them. "I'll watch her and make sure she doesn't end up dead, safer than at that building afterall." He added, glancing to the young girl peeking at him and Tai from behind the techs. He waved briefly only to earn another hide away moment and rolled his eyes in response. "I'll get to know her tonight, I have work." He trailed off at the end, obviously not thrilled with the task. "Tai please make sure she's comfortable till I get back?" He added quickly turning to go inside again. "I'll figure it out later."

An Unexpected Call
It seems D-Corp has contacted you and told you to bring your child in for a check up immediately. Very little information was given to you over the phone other than the fact that it was critical that they be brought in as soon as possible.
Once at D-Corp you are directed to Dr. Acklin's office. He's running about writing things down and clicking away at some keyboards. Once he notices you he seats you and your child down immediately to take a blood sample.
The sample is run right away in the back of the office the doctors face in the computer screen the whole while. After almost an hour of being told to wait patiently the test results are finally done and you are told you are free to leave. No information is given as to why you were so urgently called in however you were assured that your child is perfectly healthy and that there is no reason for alarm.
