I act out parts of a book while I'm reading it. (sometimes I don't notice I'm doing it until a little later) and I once almost faninted when I found a book that contained the two books I was missing in a series I loved and it only cost $3.99 and there was only one on the shelf. My friends came over to the isle to see if I was ok because they heard me hit the floor. In retrospect it was a tad embarrassing.

Since I love Mercedes Lackey's Valdemar books and I collect horse models. I took one of the white horses and painted the hooves silver and eyes blue and then took the tack and painted it in the silver and blue. I also created some clothes for a rider and to be a herald. I even painted the blue ribbons for the mane. I've got a picture somewhere.

When I see them, I have to stop and admire the pretty horses, but I'm always afraid to read them. sweatdrop

The horse are called companions and they talk to their chosen rider and are bonded to them. And here's the picture.

Certain books make me consume my life with a particular protaganaist for a short term period, this may affect the way i speak, act and my mannerisms as well as actually believing i am indeed the character. This is also common with films. But wheras these mostly drift away to be taken up by the next character, there are som traits which will never leave me twisted

Generally, I pick up character traits from the characters that I like.
That and how when my friend and I were reading Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series, we planned out how for Halloween we were going to be Mord-Sith, then created the weapon using fabric and wood, then rewrote the words to "This is Halloween" to have something to do with Mord-Sith. Yeah, it was really bad. Looking back on it, I can see how people were somewhat afraid of us sweatdrop

I've tried to draw the outfits for the characters I like the most...even though I'm not that good at drawing.

Well, it either has to be finding and printing out a quick guide to most of the elven words/phrases or what I've currently done in Icewind Dale 2. I created a character named Drizzt Do'Urden based off Drizzt EXACTLY how he is in the books by Salvatore. What's even weirder is the game auto-exported (saved the character file) him and added an item early on called 'Heart of Drizzt Do'Urden', a scimitar that you apparently can't get unless you have a character for Drizzt. Want to try it for the other characters now. . .

um *coughs* I'm not sure if I'm prepared to admit what I've done before... I read the first book in a series, and I looked for the 2nd book, but it wasn't there... *GASP! O_o* So, erm... I checked everyday on the library's website to see if it was returned. And it was returned a bit more than 2 weeks later...
I also like smelling the pages of a new book. It's a little weird, but I like the smell of freshly printed paper. You should have seen me when I got Harry Potter 7! My sister gave me the book and turned away...
