Come to think of it, Ame had never twisted her ankle before. She picked up one of her paws and tried walking on three legs.
"Wow. This is hard." She said as she hobbled around with one paw in the air.

Sigal couldn't help it--she had to giggle at the silly sight Ame made, limping about in the clearing. She felt a bit less guilty about lying around, now that she knew she wasn't the only one who had trouble walking three-legged.
Sigal sighed. "I wish we knew where to find a shaman, or something."
There was a shaman in Daddy's tribe, but she couldn't remember who. And that was so far away, too...

Ame smiled as she heard Sigal giggle. She loved knowing that her mate was happy.
"I've never met a shaman before." Ame said, almost embarrased. Well, she might have, but that would have been a long time ago. But shamans belonged to tribes right? So maybe if there was a tribe somewhere close by, they could find some help.
"Well, do you know if there are any tribes nearby? Maybe we could find some help."
((I can just see Sigal and Ame running into Nato and him having to tell Ari that he found his daughter hurt out in the middle of nowhere. XD))

Ari: *spazzes* She was all alone, in the middle of nowhere, with a broken ankle? I should've kept in in the tribe I shouldn't have let her go she's hurt and she's going to diiiiiiiiiiiie! *and so on*

"I'm not sure..." Sigal tried to think about where they were in comparison to the Lunarie lands. All of her learning about the locations of the other tribes was based there. She knew exactly how many miles in which direction each tribe was from Lunarie. But here, she wasn't really sure.
"Maybe we could go to Lunarie, and try to find the shaman there?" That was the only tribe she was kind of knew the location. It was kind of far, though...

Ame pondered what Sigal said.
"Are you sure? I'm not sure your dad would let you leave again if you went back to him hurt. Not to mention he'd most likely kill me since I let you get hurt."
She sighed. Why didn't she know more? She had been living on her own for so long, why hadn't she explored and found other tribes?

"Probably not...He'd probably overreact to all this." Sigal didn't want to think about what Daddy would say about Ame. She wondered if he would blame her mate for this. She hoped not, but...Well, she could see him trying to put the blame on Ame somehow. And she wasn't about to let her mate get yelled at by her Dad for something Ame wasn't even responsible for.
"Maybe there are other tribes nearby?" Sigal didn't really believe it, though.

"Mabye.." Ame thought hard. There could be one around here. Or maybe some lone foxes with some knowlege.
"Would you like me to go scout the area?" She wasn't good at scouting but she could try.

She loved her dad. Really, she did. It was just that...well, he was so overprotective of her. She was an adult now, and yet he still treated her like a kit, who couldn't take care of herself.

It probably wouldn't take longer than half a day to scout the area but Ame knew she would still feel bad about leaving Sigal alone while hurt, or just alone, for any amount of time. But Ame also knew that leaving her mate to find someone with Shamon knowledge would be better for Sigal in the long run.
"Alright then. I'll make a quick sweep of the area and see if I can find anyone. It shouldn't take me too long. I'll be back before you know it with some great news!" Although she spoke confidently, Ame was worried that it would take her a very long time to find someone or that she wouldn't find anyone at all.

" 'Kay, I'll just be waiting here," Sigal grinned, trying to make light of the fact that she couldn't exactly leave and go anywhere.
"I know you'll be back really soon, but I'll still miss you while you're gone." Sigal nuzzled Ame. "I'll see you soon!"

"I'll miss you to." Ame nuzzled her mate back and smiled before she turned to leave. "See you soon." And with that, she was off.
At first she started off in a sort of a trot. She didn't want to use up all of her energy in the beginning and not have enough to get back. Since they had seen Sigal's aunt Rina the day before, Ame figured she could still be near, so she headed in that direction first.
Ame searched and searched, keeping her eyes, nose, and ears open and on alert at all times.
((Do you want me to keep her out here or just magically return and tell Sigal of her day's adventure? XD))

Sigal settled down to wait. She knew Ame couldn't have been away for more than five minutes, but already it felt like ages. It was okay if Ame didn't come back with help, Sigal decided, as long as Ame came back at all.
Missing Ame, bored, and with a broken ankle, Sigal watched mice run around the meadow, trying to entertain herself. She would have followed the mice herself if she could walk--but if she could walk, Ame would still be here, and then she wouldn't be in this situation. Bored. And lonely. Mostly lonely.

It wasn't long before Ame came across Rina's scent. The other female had not traveled too far since yesterday. Ame began running after the other vixen until she was within hearing distance. Then she slowed and approached Rina. It was weird approaching a member of Sigal's family without Sigal. Especially since Ame had just met Rina yesterday.......
((insert Ame's meeting and convincing Rina to come back with her here))
Ame trotted back to the last place she had seen her mate, proud that she had returned with someone else who could help.
"Sigal! I'm baaaaack!" She said playfully as she reached the meadow where she had left her mate sitting.

"Ame! You're back!" Sigal shouted happily, her tail swishing joyfully. She really wanted to get up and pounce Ame, but she couldn't.
"Aunt Rina!" she exclaimed a moment later, seeing who Ame had brought back with her.
"Hello, Sigal," Rina smiled at her niece. Ame had already told her of what had happened to Sigal, and how she had hurt her ankle.
Rina examined Sigal's injured ankle for a moment, to assess how badly hurt it was.
"This is not a severe wound, and thus should be healed in a small matter of days. In the meanwhile, I know of some plants which will ease it."
"You can really make it better, Aunt Rina!" Sigal was ecstatic. Then she could move again and go places and do things with Ame!
"Yes. I already picked them on the way here."
Rina placed the plants on Sigal's ankle, and then bound them tightly with a leaf she had picked precisely for that purpose.
"Wow. It feels better already! Thanks Aunt Rina!"
"You are welcome. However, you must remember that your ankle is not fully healed, and thus you must be careful until it is."
"Yes, Aunt Rina."
